C H Mumm has been around for almost 200 years, Napa about 40 years.

The Napa version is the Blanc de Blanc which is a White wine from White grapes.

This is a Chardonnay dominant Bubbly, while the house style is %0% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir.

Trader Joe's Grand Reserve Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2021- A $13 Modern Pinot Noir

In California, there are two competing styles of Pinot Noir, the Burgundian style and the modern Meiomi style which is rich and full.

I am old school, I dig the Burgundian style, but I am well aware that the new style has its followers.

The new style reminds me of a Red blend which I like, but it does not taste like old-school Pinot Noir.

I know which side I choose, which is your side? Maybe both?\

This VINTJS Sonoma County Chardonnay is a delightful oaky Chard!

You do not expect an oak-conditioned Chardonnay to sell for $8.99.

While this Chardonnay has an oak influence has a balanced oak influence, which results in excellent flavor, It is not your typical $9 CHardonnay.

VINTJS Redwood Valley Zinfandel 2021-Give it a Try

This is a Trader Joe's $9.99 wine.

In the past VINTJS wines were $6.99, but in the last few years were wine from the Sonoma Coast AVA.

Wines from the Sonoma Coast do not sell for $6.99, maybe $26,99 and up, but not the lessor.

VINTJS skipped the 2020 vintage and is now back with this 2021 vintage.

Seven Bucks Sonoma Coast Pinot is not sustainable, it had to end.

But $9.99 Red Valley AVA Zinfandel, okay, that can be a thing!

Prayers Of Sinners Washington Red Blend 2020-Skeletons Make Good Halloween Wine!

This is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Merlot from a brand associated with Chateau Ste Michelle from Washington State.

The front label has a  half skeleton half man in suit being attached by octopus tentacles.

When you turn the lights out the whole scene is a skeleton.

This may sound weird, but I have never had a bad Skeleton/ Skull wine.

I am talking about the label and they have always been attractive wines in terms of flavor.

I wasn't expecting anything different, but then  I saw that they used the plentiful Clone 1 Sauvignon Blanc and added a dash of Clone 27, the Musque Clone.

This is the top of the ten Aldi Speciality Selected wines.

It is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon of unknown origin, anything above $15 and you are going to want to know where it came from.
