  • We Are The Church - Sending Disciples for Christ

Sending disciples for Christ is the very way that we saturate the world with the Good News. Sending disciples for Christ is a lifestyle. We are being sent every day. God is giving each of us a platform and all our platforms look different. We are called to saturate the world with the Good News no matter what our platform looks like. If you know the Good News, you've got to tell it. Listen to this sermon as we look at our fourth pillar and what sending disciples for Christ means in this fourth part of We The Church.

  • Let's Go | Making Disciples of Christ

In this fifth episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on Pastor Brian's message about our third pillar at CMC of making disciples of Christ. If we have truly experienced the grace of Jesus, how selfish are we not to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The reason we make disciples is because we are disciples. Discipleship is inviting someone else to follow you as you follow Jesus. There is no discipleship without God's Word. It takes us all to make disciples.

  • We Are The Church - Making Disciples of Christ

A disciple is one that accepts and assists in spreading the very thing that they accepted. If you've received Jesus as your Savior, then walk with Him. In being a disciple, if you've accepted it, then spread it. The reason that we saturate the world the Good News is because we are disciples. The reason we make disciples is because we are disciples. There's nothing more selfish than not sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Are you fully vested in the discipleship process? Are you a disciple? Are you being a disciple maker? Listen to this sermon as we look at our third pillar and what making disciples of Christ means in this third part of We The Church.

  • Let's Go | Established on Christ

In this fourth episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on Pastor Brian's message about our second pillar at CMC of being established on Christ. Are we established on Christ? Are we rooted and built up in Him? What are you rooted in? Romans 8 tells us that when we are established on Christ there is nothing that can separate us. We can be rooted and established on Christ by gathering, going, and giving.

  • We Are The Church - Established On Christ

Being found in Christ is where it all starts. However, salvation is not the end; it's just the beginning. Salvation is the launching pad into a surrendered life. Not only must we be found in Christ but we have to walk in our faith too. When we are found in and established on Christ, we are stable and securely in position. We have to be rooted in Christ. When we are firmly rooted in Him, we are more than conquerors through Him. To be firmly rooted in Him, means that we are stable and securely in position. The more established we are on Christ, the more thankful we become and the more we saturate the world with the Good News. Listen to this sermon as we look at our second pillar and what being established on Christ means in this second part of We The Church.

  • Let's Go | Found in Christ

In this third episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on Pastor Brian's message about our first pillar at CMC of being found in Christ. Our hope is not found in a church. Our hope is found in Jesus. When we are found in Christ, everything else springs from that. In order to saturate the world with the Good News, we have to first recognize it as Good News. Is the gospel Good News to you? Have you been found in Christ?

  • We Are The Church - Found In Christ

In our We Are The Church series, it's an opportunity to share the vision, mission, and assignment that God has given CMC. In the New Testament, churches were being birthed in specific locations to have an impact on their community. We are called to influence our community. Our mission at CMC is to saturate the world with the Good News. There are four pillars that hold up our mission statement. CMC is to be a community of believers found in Christ, established on Christ, making disciples of Christ, and sending disciples for Christ. As we look at our first pillar, FOUND IN CHRIST, we see that what unites this community believers is the name of Jesus Christ. Listen to this sermon as we look at what found in Christ means and what it means to who God has called CMC to be in this first part of We The Church.

  • Let's Go | Because I Love You

In this third episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on Pastor Brian's message from 1 John 5 about about why Christians should obey God's commandments. We have a Heavenly Father that doesn't just say to obey because He says so but because He loves us. What if we started to change the way we responded from 'because I say so' to 'because I love you.' We follow God's commandments by becoming more familiar with His love. The more familiar we become with His love the better we will be able to follow His commandments. Our proximity to God changes everything.

  • In The Word (1 John) - Because I Love You

In 1 John 5, John has written this letter to confirm and check yes or no of whether we believe in Jesus. Salvation is achieved only through our confession, our repentance, and our surrender. As we examine our hearts, has there been a time where we have confessed, repentance, and surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ? As a follower of Christ, we will know that we love God by the way we love of others and observe His commandments. There's a reason God has a set of rules for us to follow because He knows what lies ahead and He loves us. We learn how to follow His commandments by knowing His love. The closeness to the Father changes everything. Listen to this sermon from 1 John 5 in the seventh part of our In The Word - 1 John series.

  • Let's Go | Overcoming Fear

In this second episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on Pastor Brian's message from 1 John 4 about overcoming fear. When we don't know how something will turn out, we often create an outcome in our heads. However, the way we overcome fear is not becoming more familiar with what causes the fear, but it's actually becoming more familiar with the one who casts out fear.
