  • The Heart of Jesus

In Matthew 11, we see Jesus express His heart. We get a glimpse of who He is. Jesus is saying, "Come to Me." In this new year of 2021, we need to lift our eyes. We need to look to Jesus. We need to go to Jesus. We need to run to Jesus. Jesus is saying, "Come to me and I will give you rest." Jesus is pulling us into His heart. Jesus is pulling us into His embrace. When Jesus is guiding us, this is what brings comfort to our soul. The heart of Christ is that He is gentle, humble, kind, slow to answer, steadfast. What this means for us is that we get rest that is an active rest. Our response to this is that we move towards Him and move towards others.

  • Let's Go | Remember, Keep, Repent

In this fifteenth episode of Let's Go, Pastor Brandon and Chase look back on Pastor Jared's message from Revelation 3 about the Church of Sardis and how it relates to today as we near the end of 2020. With everything that has happened in 2020, there are still things to be remembered about this year. We need to remember who God is and what He has done for us. We need to keep His Word. We also need to repent. It's not just about having a good reputation. Remember what you've received and heard, keep it, and repent.

  • Remember, Keep, Repent

As we near the end of the year, there are things to be forgotten in 2020 but there are things to be remembered in 2020. In Revelation 3, Jesus is saying, "wake up" to the church in Sardis because they are dead. Jesus reminds them to remember what they've received and heard, keep it, and repent. As we lean into the future and what we're going towards, it's not enough to say that this year was terrible and start looking to the next. We have to start plowing our soil and preparing the soil. We must allow God to prepare us in this season and not let this season destroy us.

  • Let's Go | His Name Shall Be

In this fourteenth episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on our Pastor Brian's message from Isaiah 9:6 because we need to be reminded who our God is. His name shall be Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. This is a beautiful picture of who our God is. The government will rest upon His shoulders and there will be no end to His rule. What a beautiful promise! Remind yourself daily who Jesus is and the point of this Christmas season! Don't be distracted by the little things in our life that are warring for our attention but there is only one is worthy, Jesus.

  • Christmas - His Name Shall Be

Jesus didn’t appear and didn’t arrive the way that people thought the Messiah should look and arrive. When we hear of the birth of Jesus being mentioned, this was to give hope to the nation of Israel that Emmanuel, hope, is coming. The fact that He is coming again should give hope to you and I. There’s coming a day when the Messiah will rule overall. In Him, there is no disappointment, no chaos, and no confusion. The government will rest upon His shoulders and He shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Listen to this message in the third part of our Christmas series as we unpack the meaning of these four names of Jesus.

  • Let's Go | We Go Because He Came To Us

In this thirteenth episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on our Send Sunday where we went as a church to deliver Christmas present boxes into our community to over 360 babies, children, and teenagers. We believe that Jesus came to us to seek and save the lost. He came to us and that's why we go. When we go, we take the message of Jesus to the people we go to. We choose to love first because He first loved us. We want to go like Jesus did and love first as we saturate the world with the Good News.

  • Christmas - We Go Because He Came To Us

As we celebrate Send Sunday where we went as a church to deliver Christmas present boxes to over 360 babies, children, and teenagers in our community, we look at why we go. We go because He came to us. We are taking the breath of God to people. It brings change. Once we realize that we are a carrier of a life changing element, this should be what compels each of us to go. The reason that we go is in response to Him coming to us. Listen to this message in the second part of our Christmas series.

  • Let's Go | Take Care and Be Calm

In this twelfth episode of Let's Go, Pastor Jared looks back on our message in from Isaiah 7 in the first part of our Christmas series. God doesn't waste words and when He told Isaiah to tell that Immanuel was coming was intentional. Immanuel means God with us. Immanuel is a reminder and the security for the believer to live our lives confidently that God is with us. If God is with us, what should we fear? This changes everything. For the nonbeliever, the promise of Immanuel is the invitation to come and have a relationship with God. Be reminded that God is with you. Go and share this Good News that don't know Jesus!

  • Christmas - Take Care and Be Calm

Christmas is the story of hope. Christmas is all about hope coming to this world. In Isaiah 7, the people of Israel were in the peak of their oppression. In today's world, we are in a similar situation as the people of Israel were. It seems that we are in the peak of our oppression. Through Isaiah, God tells His people to take care and be calm because Immanuel is coming. In Israel's darkest hour, they are given hope by being told that God is coming to them. As a believer, the word 'Immanuel' should serve as a reminder why this Christmas season should be the most exciting Christmas season that you have ever experienced. What we are celebrating this Christmas is Immanuel. Listen to this message in the first part of our Christmas series.

  • Let's Go | Keep Yourselves From Idols

In this eleventh episode of Let's Go, Pastor Brandon and Chase look back on our message in 1 John 5:21 and how we must keep and guard ourselves from idols as Christians. Satan is sneaky in what he does. The enemy doesn't want our idols to be obvious so we don't realize it. An idol can be a good gift from God, but it is once it takes priority over our relationship with Christ that it becomes an idol. Surrender your idols to Christ and turn your eyes back on Him. What do you treasure the most? Do we treasure Jesus above all things or are we running to the things of this world?
