In November of 2017, a 22-year-old woman went missing in Chicago after sending a string of urgent text messages to a friend. Nearly two weeks later, a 911 call was made from her cell phone, but the call ended almost as soon as it was made. When it was traced back to her phone, police discovered that the call originated from a nature preserve 45 minutes away from where she went missing. And as if the situation couldn’t get more perplexing, the location of her remains completely stumped the police. This is the story of Cheyann Klus.
