Henrik Turk on guitar and vocals along with Pat on drums and Nate "Nate The Great" on bass drove in from Grayslake, IL to blow my socks off. These guys are great fun and have a kick ass sound.Here are some pics from the show.

Super Sideways which is Dave McCaul and Tim Pallanch joined Christine Knodle and I for a wonderful afternoon of songs and laughs. Cary Kanno and half of one of his two bands, Abstract Giants joined the CAU crew for a night of Caryand#39;s unique brand of music and laughter. We had a great time! His other band is called Doko Benjo.

Into the studio one afternoon Mr. Riely Oand#39;Connor entertained the heck out of Christine Knodle and myself.Riely is from South Bend, Indiana and is the consumate Singer/Songwriter. Cobalt came in to support Michael Raspatelloand#39;s Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival . We had a blast, as you will hear. Guests included Greg Combs and Jeff Brown of the band Goodbyehome and Greg told a great story of meeting Tom Fort when he first moved here.

Majors Junction came into the studio to record a pre-concert show in support of the Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival being held this Saturday November 22nd at the Congress Theater up on Milwaukee Ave. This was like a reunion of sorts as two of the members, John Hasbrouk, Brian Wilkie, and Matt Gandurski are all CAU alumni.
