Chicago Bears Central

The Chicago Bears made BIG moves on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft — and the direction of this team is starting to come into focus 👀🔥

Ryan Poles selected Logan Jones at No. 57, giving Chicago a potential long-term answer at center following Drew Dalman’s shocking retirement. Jones, a Rimington Trophy winner and All-American, brings elite athleticism and experience to the offensive line 💪

Then came a surprise…

The Bears selected Sam Roush at No. 69 after trading back, adding a physical, blocking tight end to pair with Colston Loveland — a move that could raise serious questions about Cole Kmet’s future 👀

Chicago wrapped up Day 2 by selecting Zayvion Thomas at No. 89 — a versatile playmaker with return ability and explosive upside ⚡

In this episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize breaks down:

• 🔥 Logan Jones & the future of the offensive line
• 😳 The Sam Roush pick and what it means for the offense
• ⚡ Zayvion Thomas’ upside as a weapon & returner
• 👀 What Ryan Poles’ strategy is telling us about this team
• 💬 Fan reactions and what’s next for Chicago

The Chicago Bears may have just pulled off a MAJOR draft steal 😳

With the No. 25 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Chicago selected Oregon safety Dillon Thieneman — a player many believed could go in the TOP 15 👀

Thieneman brings elite speed (4.35), physicality, and versatility — making him a perfect fit in Dennis Allen’s defensive scheme 🔥

After losing both starting safeties this offseason, Ryan Poles wasted no time addressing one of the Bears’ biggest needs.

But the story doesn’t stop there…

With picks #57, #60, and #89 still coming up, the Bears are in a PRIME position to:

• Attack the defensive line 💪
• Add edge rush help 😤
• Or even shock fans AGAIN 👀

We break down:

• Why Thieneman might be a STEAL
• Fan reaction vs front office thinking
• Best available targets on Day 2
• And what Ryan Poles could do NEXT

The Chicago Bears have made their move in the 2026 NFL Draft — selecting Oregon safety Dillon Thieneman with the No. 25 overall pick 🐻⬇️

With major losses in the secondary, including Kevin Byard and Jaquan Brisker, Chicago needed a playmaker — and they may have just found one 👀

Draft analyst Dane Brugler compared Thieneman to Justin Reid, highlighting his versatility, football IQ, and physicality as a run defender — traits that make him an instant impact player in Dennis Allen’s defense 🔥

But that’s not all…

The Bears also restructured contracts for Cole Kmet and Jonah Jackson, freeing up over $10 million in cap space 💰

We break down:

• Why Thieneman fits PERFECTLY in this defense
• Whether the Bears reached or found a steal
• What this means for the secondary moving forward
• And how the new cap space could lead to MORE moves 👀

The Chicago Bears are heading into the 2026 NFL Draft with BIG decisions looming at pick No. 25 👀

While many expect the Bears to target defense, new reports suggest Chicago could prioritize offensive tackle if the right player is available — especially with uncertainty at left tackle following Ozzy Trapilo’s injury.

But that’s not the only direction…

Insiders are pointing to a potential battle between:

• EDGE rusher (to pair with Montez Sweat)
• Offensive tackle (long-term protection for Caleb Williams)

Plus:

• Tyson Bagent trade buzz is quietly building 👀
• Could a desperate team make an offer too good to refuse?
• And the Bears take a MAJOR step toward a new stadium in Arlington Heights 🏟️

Ryan Poles has options… but which path will define the future of this team?
