This week on Chicago Beer Pass, Brad Chmielewski & Nik White open a 9% ABV Old Ale from Forbidden Root. They sip on it as they dive into their past couple weeks of beer adventures. Since they had a guest on the last episode they both have quite a few adventures to talk about. Nik recently took a trip to bourbon country and Brad made a few visits to Exit Strategy and All Rise. It’s an odd time of the year as it seems there aren’t too many events happening, possibly because everyone is ramping up for Oktoberfest events. But there is one event that you should check out for sure; Summer Crushes with Good Beer Hunting at 5 Rabbit. This event kicks off at noon and will feature some of the best fruit-infused, and fruit-fermented beers around, as well as some new one-off experiments.    There has also been a few beer industry shake ups recently so the guys dive into that in their beer news segment as they wrap up the show.
