Happy Monday, we couldn't be more excited to be bringing you today’s inspiring HalfTime Huddle interview! 

These chats are deeper dive conversations than what we get in our regular eps and they feature some of our favourite athletes and sports insiders.

Rowan Crothers was bullied as a kid because of his cerebral palsy. He struggled with his self worth and even didn't believe he'd amount to anything. But while watching the 2008 Beijing Paralympic games, as he watched people like him - champions - doing the unimaginable in sport, on the worlds stage, a light bulb went off - maybe he could do this. He started swimming at the suggestion of his physiotherapist and 11 years later not only is he a Paralympian, but a dual Gold Medallist and an incredible character that has captured the hearts of Aussies everywhere!

We are always so grateful to talk to the incredible athletes we do on this podcast, but Rowan and his story has left a particular mark on our hearts - he is a true role model and inspiration for us all! We chat about his passion, his hopes for the next generation of kids with disabilities - and excitedly, his plans to keep swimming until the 2032 Brisbane Games!!!

My name is Marlee Silva and today it’s just me and Georgia Moore on the mics, as Keely’s got her real job to attend to - but nonetheless we’re all super excited to be bringing you today’s HalfTime Huddle interview!

If you’re a rugby league fan, YKTR as a brand is no doubt familiar to you - or at the least we can guarantee you’ve got a couple of guys you follow on instagram who have uploaded a pic in a YKTR t-shirt. Well today we sit down with Isaac John - better known as Ice - a former NRL player and one of the founders and drivers of YKTR.

A passionate business owner that takes the complete opposite approach to gatekeeping when it comes to sharing his and his brands journey, Ice is a compelling and hardworking game changer in the space. 

Georgia and I chat with him early on a Monday morning - the only spot in this very busy guys schedule - about the evolution of YKTR into something bigger than a clothing brand, his personal philosophies around business and of course, our burning questions about the next drop of ‘She Knows’ merch.
