Child abuse is rampant in the church, and particularly in the Catholic church, which is in a very bad position morally speaking. Many years ago, homosexuality was classified as a psychiatric disorder, and the DSM-5 is now starting to classify pedophilia as a psychiatric disorder. Are these just mental issues, or does the problem run far deeper into the spiritual realm?
