2 things happened to potentially kill the rally

 1) anyone watching Powell? "Close the F***ing door" He said he may not be done raising rates - spooked markets - they may not have done enough to keep inflation under control. Higher for longer or even more rate hikes.

the bond auction was a disaster and almost was canceled because buyers didn’t show up driving rates back near 5%. 

at 1 PM ET the entire stock market turned lower.

What happened? Bond auction failure 

The reason the auction was considered failed because there seemed to only be a few buyers of the bond, leading to a long tail (when the average bid price is much lower than the bond itself). The government came out after the auction and said there was a hack in China that prevented one of the major treasury buyers from purchasing the bonds. 

The 30-year bond auction drew 4.77% which was above the presale numbers by ~5 bps.

guidance came “in slightly below consensus, largely because the transitory cautiousness from advertisers in certain verticals, such as U.S. auto and media/entertainment due to the strikes 

$u - no guidance and after losing their ceo and missing on revenue, it’s down huge 

$dkng - investor day next week - beat numbers last earnings and is cash flow positive expected early next year- I still say wait for it to pull back under $30 to buy more but they may not get back there - it is the one spac that seems to have worked out 

$lly - down big - buy on weakness
