This talk is a brief expansion on the above quote of Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda.

How does the creation manifest from subtle to gross? What is the importance of Yagna in the process of creation? How can Yagna help us in achieving success in all our endeavors? The mystic language of Purusha being offered as the animal in the Yagna is explained here.

This Purusha has Thousand heads, Thousand eyes and Thousand feet. Purusha pervades the whole universe and yet is beyond it also. Whatever was, is and will be is Purusha alone. Creation is an illusion and an appearance of Purusha. This illusion is playing continuously in 1 quarter of the Purusha as though. The rest of the 3 quarters are unaffected. Like the mirage in the desert appears only in one small portion.

Purusha suktam is the 
Oldest hymn, 
in praise of the most ancient being(God)
who is the most universal, 
Found in the oldest scriptures(Vedas)
in the oldest and the most logical language in the world(Sanskrit)

The HYMN elaborates on the immanent and transcendental nature of the Purusha - The Cosmic Being, the process of creation through sacrifice, the creation itself and the social order that governs the human beings.
