Ruth is placed on administrative leave following Wick’s suspicious death. Loro chastises Ruth for compromising the investigation and sends her home-- but a detail from Ruth’s account sticks in Loro's head. Loro goes to the morgue to request an additional set of tests on the victims' tissue—only to discover that the bodies have already been removed by someone connected to the Crossroads Tabernacle. Fearing that her house is being watched, Ruth escapes with her sister on an ill-conceived dinner date where Beth and Valvik’s domestic tension comes to a head.
