Sometimes in order to solve a problem, the key in the solution is to keep on trying different things until you figure it out. This can be helpful when you are working with kids with Autism who are minimally speaking. Each child has their own 'language', and it will take time to learn how they prefer to communicate.

In 2 recent articles, (see links below), a 'new role of chiropractic' was introduced, that boils down to this: chiropractors should essentially 'stay in their lane' and adjust only people with back pain "without extending their services to other more controversial clinical areas." Hmm. The results we see in pediatric chiropractic care tend to totally refute their idea. I think I'll stick with my current role in chiropractic! A 2024 article called "A new role for spinal manual therapy" (see link) said that we should not provide SMT to anyone except for people with musculoskelatal issues (MSK), since it is unproven, unscientific, and controversial.
