Despite the prognosis, she embarked on a rigorous recovery journey, drawing on her athletic mindset and perseverance. Nicole now works as a motivational speaker, swim coach, and advocate for stroke and aphasia awareness. Her storytelling focuses on resilience, reframing setbacks, embracing the “power of yet,” and showing that even life-altering events can be the start of a new chapter.
