Choose Your Struggle

Season 2 Episode 3!
Step Into Their Shoes...
This episode features a conversation with Alex Kaplan of Of Substance (check them out at OfSubstance.org). Alex and his team are creating experiences for shared connection and understanding through some pretty incredible short films. I highly recommend them, so much so that I'm also a financial backer of their nonprofit.
Every person who checks out one of their films and tells me what they thought will get a Choose Your Struggle sticker!
Today's Good Egg: put yourself in someone else's shoes for a moment and try to see outside your own understanding.

Season 2 Episode 2
This season, I'll be more regularly putting out Monday episodes. When I have a special episode worthy of releasing, it will still be those. When I don't, I'll be putting out these instead. I call them Monday Motivations and they're short episodes that are meant to start conversations.
What do you think? Everyone who responds, either by social media or my website, will get a sticker mailed to them. The first person to respond will get a magnet! So reach out or post something on your personal social media and tag me (and maybe share the show in the process?)!
No Good Egg or Card.
Love being a part of the community and want to show it off? Grab a Choose Your Struggle Tank Top, sticker, and magnet! Season 2 Episode 1!
We're back!
This episode features a conversation with Rebecca Leib of Ghost Town. Rebecca and I get into what it's like to host such a heavy show, why people struggle against the very idea of aliens and the supernatural, and psychology. You can learn more about Rebecca at her Instagram and listen to Ghost Town today!

One more Special Episode (next week is number 50!) until regular episodes return. The 2nd Season of the Choose Your Struggle podcast will debut on Friday, January 8th.
This week's episode presents an organization I am absolutely enthralled by: Of Substance. In fact, I love their work so much that one of their founders, Alex Kaplan, will be an early season interview for Season 2. Their films are short and incredibly powerful. Check them out at their website, https://www.ofsubstance.org/ and look forward to the interview with Alex in a few weeks!

This week's episode is a special presentation of a podcast I love that also happens to be produced by my incredibly talented brother, Alex Shifman. Science! The Show combines two out of this world topics: comedy and science to educate in a fun way. This episode features NASA JPL’s Scientist Dr. Jason Rhodes and comedian Maria Bamford! Originally a live show on twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/sciencetheshow) it also airs as a podcast. Learn more at their Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Sciencetheshow/) or their Twitter (https://twitter.com/show_science?lang=en).

No Shout Out this week. The Interview with Janel is longer. And I wrap up the season on the intro.

Today's guest is Janel Vitale! Janel is a sex and relationship coach and a certified badass! Check her out at her website and her Instagram.

This is the last episode in the first season of the podcast! Thanks for listening. The next regular episode will be in January of 2021 as we kick off season 2. I'll be doing a lot of rebranding work in between now and then. But stay subscribed! There will be some special episodes and a few other cool things dropping on the stream between now and then.

Stick around after the interview for today's Choose Your Card and Good Egg.

This week's Good Egg: Live the Choose Your Struggle mantra in the offseason!
