Chord Progression Podcast: The Gateway to New Rock and Metal Music

In this installment, Kevin has an hour long conversation with his top Instagram followers (and friends) Evee and Anthony. They talk about what they think of Unbreakable, the latest release from New Years Day, and The Dead Days, the latest release by Get Scared. They also go into why Kevin and Evee like Motionless In White, and why Anthony thinks they're both crazy for it. Their conversation ends with some classic banter between the 3 that you will enjoy.

From there, Kevin talks about Rise Against performing their acoustic Ghost Note Symphonies album at the Chicago Theatre and how he is at a loss for words after such an amazing and transcendent show.

It may be a long one but it is a conversation and review that you will enjoy.

On this episode, Kevin gives you his thoughts on Andy Black's "The Ghost of Ohio" album released on April 12th. His honest opinion is given and heard. From there Kevin praises Ice Nine Kills for what they did after being banned from Disney, feels nostalgic talking about Hot Topic, and rants about getting robo-calls when he gets one while shooting the episode. It's a good one.

With the lineup for Summerfest in Milwaukee dropping on 4/9, Kevin had to check it out. His business mindedness understands why the lineup is constructed the way it is and is smart, however his musical fandom takes over and rants about the lack of modern hard rock bands in the lineup. He also talks about how he is surprised that Skillet is coming to Milwaukee for the second time in 2019, and you bet he will be there.

Kevin also takes a look at "Drugs" by Falling In Reverse and gives you his take.
