My guest this week is Major Russ Cooper, founder and President of Canadian Citizens for Charter Rights and Freedoms (C3RF). Major Cooper was a decorated CF18 combat pilot in Iraq and Kuwait. He later served as an international airline pilot and also took on national responsibilities in the field of post-9/11 civil aviation security. Today, we discuss the disastrous war being waged in Ukraine, how we got there and why we must disentangle ourselves from that conflict. We also touch on the shabby state of Canada’s armed forces and the need for better command appointments and more resources to maintain our own military preparedness.

My guest this week is Darshan Maharaja. Darshan is a gifted and articulate writer whose incisive commentary covers a wide range of topics, including MAiD, climate change and economic policies. Born in India, Darshan has experienced both socialism and free market conditions; he has a wide range of experience, having worked as a chartered accountant in several foreign countries before coming to Canada. I appreciate his clear thoughts about our civilization’s decline into the premature ending of human lives.

My guest this week is Bill Whatcott. Bill has been called before the courts—including the Supreme Court of Canada—and Human Rights Commissions many times as an advocate for free speech, biblically-based standards for sexual behaviour and for the protection of innocent human life. His most current case—King vs. Whatcott—involves his defence against “hate crime” accusations in regard to his distribution of literature at the 2016 Toronto Pride Parade.
My guest this week is Larry Heather, CHP candidate in the Calgary Heritage by-election scheduled for July 24. Larry has been a candidate in federal, provincial and municipal elections, always striving to be a voice for righteousness during campaigns and a vocal defender of innocent human life. We discuss the importance of having a remnant of citizens who are willing to speak for godly values and the importance of shining the light of God’s word into the dark and hidden recesses of wicked human institutions that deny the supremacy of God. We discuss the slaughter of babies in the womb and drag shows destroying the innocence of children in the public schools. Larry offers his biblical approach to these issues and his intent to expose the works of darkness during this campaign.

My guest this week is Barry Neufeld, the battle-scarred veteran of the culture wars who has been fighting for years on behalf of our children . . . resisting the LGBTQ insanity and child abuse being perpetrated in our public school system. We talk about his recent loss at Canada’s politically-driven Supreme Court, the court cases and human rights accusations he still faces and the good news that many more Canadians have joined the fight to protect children from emotional and physical harm in Canada’s schools.

My guest this week is Mr. Stefano Gennarini, J.D., Vice President for Legal Studies at C-Fam, the Center for Family and Human Rights. We discussed how the UN is being used to advance a very “progressive” agenda, influencing the policies of nation-states and even their administrative law. Stefano and C-Fam’s President, Austin Ruse, and their team are working to hold back the agenda and to inform people about what’s going on at UN headquarters,

My guest this week is Mr. John Markus, our CHP candidate in Oxford (ON). I was privileged to be in the district for our Challenge the Culture conference and had the rare opportunity to interview our candidate in studio rather than via zoom. We talk about farming in the area and other issues. Due to a camera glitch, the video froze for several minutes and we didn’t discover this until we processed the clip. Due to my travel schedule and Mr. Markus’s campaign schedule we were not able to redo the interview. The audio was not affected.

My very special guest this week is Jordan Guildford, founder of Gems for Gems and the force—with her hard-working team—behind a new initiative called Hope’s Cradle. This ambitious project envisions a facility in fire stations across Canada where women struggling to care for a newborn baby can safely and anonymously surrender the child into the care of people who will make sure it’s kept warm, properly nourished and taken into a good foster home or adopted. Two such facilities are already in operation in Strathmore, AB and Landmark, MB.

I’m pleased and honoured this week to once again have the opportunity to speak with Harold Jonker of Jonker Trucking. Harold has been trucking for 28 years and in early 2022, took part in the Truckers Freedom Convoy. Now, 15 months after the convoy was forced out of Ottawa by a brutal and overwhelming “military-style” police action, Harold has been ordered to report to the Ottawa police to face charges related to his involvement with the convoy—charges of which he is not guilty. He and his wife Janice and their 13 children are facing this development with faith and complete trust in the Lord. Harold is being assisted by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom (https://www.jccf.ca).
