My very special guest this week is Dr. Haywood J. Robinson, Director of Medical Affairs and Education for 40 Days for Life. Dr. Robinson had a dramatic conversion in 1986 and became a follower of Jesus Christ. He and his first wife, Noreen (who passed away in August 2021) had both been abortion providers before their conversion. They then became solid pro-life supporters. Dr. Robinson then helped start the 40 Days for Life organization. He is now remarried; he and his second wife, Daphne, work tirelessly to save preborn lives; between them, they have eight children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dr. Robinson will be speaking at the March for Life in Ottawa on May 11.
He will also be speaking on: May 16, 7:00 pm at the Oakland Bible Chapel, 2736 Fernwood Road, in Victoria, BC

My special guest this week is Mr. Vishal Mangalwadi, author of 25 books, including this important one: The Book That Made Your World: How the Bible Created the Soul of Western Civilization. During this interview we discuss how the words, the phrases, the teachings of the Bible have given meaning, structure and freedom to peoples, the cultures and the institutions of many countries, including Canada and India . . . and how those freedoms are at risk as governments and academics have abandoned the Word of God.
Vishal Mangalwadi will be doing a speaking tour of Ontario, beginning in Ottawa: April 23 and including Mississauga: April 25, Brampton: April 26, Toronto: April 27, Burlington / Hamilton: April 28, and St Catharines: April 29 (2023). My special guest this week is David Darwin, National Secretary of CHP Canada and Chair of CHP’s Economics and Finance Department, one of our policy committees. David and I discuss a platform plank that would completely eliminate the national income tax and replace it with a much fairer and less intrusive national sales tax. That way, the working taxpayer would not have his or her paycheque drained by the CRA but could decide how much to save, invest or use on consumables. It would eliminate the “bracket” disincentives to working harder and saving more.

My special guest this week is Colin Craig, President of SecondStreet.org. Colin—a former staffer at Canadian Taxpayers Federation and a fighter for free enterprise, lower taxes, smaller government and more freedom—is managing a project for Second Street, called: Survivors of Socialism. He and his team are conducting interviews with Canadians who have escaped from communist and socialist countries where living conditions are harsh and freedoms—especially freedom of speech and movement—are severely restricted. In our discussion, we talk about some warning signs that Canada may be heading toward a socialist collapse of finances and freedoms. The goal of the Survivors of Socialism project is to educate Canadians with true stories from people who have experienced the devastating results of socialism firsthand.

CHP TALKS: Corrine Mori—BC Nurses Challenge Union’s Failure
My special guest this week is Corrine Mori. Corrine is an ER nurse in Nelson, BC, who was fired for non-compliance with BC’s illegitimate vaccine mandates. We discuss the collapse of BC’s healthcare system, the failure of the BC Nurses’ Union to protect the contractual rights of nurses, the delay of proceedings by the government-influenced Labour Relations Board and the wave of nurses and other health care professionals leaving BC due to the mandates, current working conditions and the additional threats posed by the implementation of BC’s Bill 36.

My special guest this week is Jonathon Van Maren—columnist, author, speaker, podcaster and activist. Jonathon has a unique gift for expounding a logical and biblically-based worldview concerning the sanctity and dignity of human life and presenting it in a way that those who have not thought deeply about these issues are able to understand and apply. Jonathon is the Communications Director for CCBR (the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform) and offers his profound insights in blogs, podcasts and articles on his website: the Bridgehead.

Cathay explains her Private Members Bill C-311, a bill which would give additional protection to pregnant women from violent or abusive attacks. MP Wagantall also weighs in on: carbon taxes, inflation, the protection of farmers from government policies and the protection of free speech and conscience rights for all Canadians.

My special guest this week Päivi Räsänen, a medical doctor and, for the past 28 years, a Member of Parliament in Finland. Päivi has been Minister of the Interior for Finland, Chair of the Christian Democratic Party of Finland and has held many other prominent roles. In 2019, she was criminally charged for having tweeted Bible verses regarding gender confusion and a biblical view of sexuality. She was unanimously acquitted by a district court but now is scheduled to appear at the Court of Appeals to defend her views. She is standing firm on the Word of God and defending her beliefs and her right to free speech in a democratic society.

My special guest this week is the Rev. Dr. Joseph Boot—cultural theologian and Christian worldview apologist, founder and President of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity. We discuss his recently-released book, Ruler of Kings, and Dr. Boot gives a short but very helpful explanation of “Sphere Sovereignty”. He addresses the problems that arise when one sphere (the State) seeks to usurp authority that belongs to other spheres . . . (like Family and Church). Dr. Boot will be the featured speaker at the April 14 AGM of the Sarnia-Lambton EDA of the Christian Heritage Party.
