My guest this week is Dr. Charles Hoffe, a wonderful primary care physician serving the community of Lytton, BC. We discuss the draconian legislation—Bill 36—that was recently rushed through the BC Legislature with little time for debate or reflection. The Bill will undermine existing medical regulatory bodies in BC and give unprecedented powers to the BC government to control the speech and prescriptive protocols of doctors and other health care providers. It threatens to punish with crippling fines and jailtime any practitioner who questions the government narrative regarding medical treatments.

My guest this week is Dr. Margaret Cottle, a compassionate and experienced palliative care physician. Dr Cottle explains why the shortage of proper palliative care options is a factor in many people giving up and accepting medical termination (MAiD) rather than continuing to live out their lives. My guest this week is the Honourable Preston Manning, political veteran and former Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition. Mr. Manning has just launched a National Citizens Inquiry that will investigate the protective measures implemented by the Government in response to COVID: Were they effective and appropriate? Did they cause harm to the citizens of Canada? What could have or should have been done differently? The National Citizens Inquiry is seeking citizen recommendations for commissioners and endorsements of this important work. There are also opportunities to donate as this project is not taxpayer-funded.

My guest this week is Kris Sims, Alberta Director for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. Kris talks about the annual raises the PM and all MPs have been getting throughout the pandemic and the fact that federal employees have been getting raises and bonuses while average, hard-working Canadians have been facing job losses, pay cuts, business closures, runaway inflation and higher carbon taxes. We also discuss the demand by union bosses for a 14% pay increase for federal employees.

My guest this week is Tom Harris, Executive Director of ICSC Canada (International Climate Science Coalition – Canada). On today’s program, Tom recounts his recent experience in the Ottawa’s mayoral race and how the debate organizers, moderators and media manipulated the debate formats, censored questions from the audience and answers from the candidates and even excluded two candidates in order to promote their preferred view on climate science and to promote their preferred radical climate activist candidate. Tom tells us what he and his team did to overcome these challenges and to educate the public on this important issue.

My guest this week is David Cooke, Campaigns Manager for Campaign Life Coalition. He is the author of a new book, Trudeau’s MAiD Service: A Euthanasia Program for Canada. We discuss how Canada went—in a few short years—from protecting, by law, every Canadian, regardless of physical condition, from being killed by another human being. We discuss the ongoing efforts to expand assisted suicide to include the mentally ill, the depressed and even infants and children. We talk about the financial aspect as well.

My guest this week is Jeff Willerton, author, musician and survivor of multiple political campaigns since 1997.
