In this episode Chris is obsessed with her new insulated Kinto travel mug (not sponsored - yet) and Sarah’s local cafe ghosted her. They play one of Sarah’s comedy songs. In this episode Chris and Sarah are cozy indoors on a rainy day. Chris reads a letter to the editor from the 30's and goes down a rabbit hole about the first female radio presenters, and discuss what’s changed in radio broadcasting. Chris and Sarah do a trial audition as commercial radio presenters, and assume offers will be flooding in. Sarah shares a story about a stressed-out journalist who decided to holiday at home rather than risk travelling, much to her detriment.

In this remarkably laidback but quite researched episode, Chris and Sarah are slightly dusty from the night before. Sarah brings an article about the importance of a pretty frock in finding a husband, and they decide that promenading (dressing up and strolling by the sea as a social activity) needs to come back in a major way. Sarah goes down a rabbit hole about Australian divorce law and they discover South Australia is kind of progressive. Chris brings an article about migration in the 60’s and they talk about their adventurous mums moving overseas in the 70’s.

This week Chris + Sarah come to you live from a retro hotel in Lennox head (Northern NSW). They share some emails from listeners, then Sarah shares an article about a 16-year-old girl called Barbara who complains to her doctor that she has no personality. Doc has several helpful suggestions including to stop being boring and whingey; this leads to a discussion about the musicals we were in in high school. Chris shares an article about the benefits of rhubarb, Sarah realises she isn’t entirely sure what rhubarb is and they have a conversation about their favourite houses they have lived in, and their dream homes.

It’s episode four! This week Chris and Sarah use the cursed eyebrow kit to draw one eyebrow on each other, and recall the moment just minutes before the podcast where Sarah set Chris’s kitchen on fire. Three’s a charm! Chris shares an unhinged idea for a joke she recorded in the middle of the night and they discuss fever-dream-esque kids TV programmes. Sarah shares an article about turtles, leading to Chris telling several horrifying stories about childhood pets.
