Conservationist Chris Crowe was just trying to save the white-naped crane. He didn't expect a crane was saving herself for him! Walnut refused to flock around with other cranes, so it was up to her caretaker Chris to shake his tail feather and win her over! Now she's bonded with him for life, and he has no intention of flying off.
