Chris McIntyre started EagleRider with business partner Jeff Brown when they stumbled upon a gap in the market. Chris and Jeff wanted to take sabbaticals from their jobs and travel around the United States on Harleys, but they found that there were no motorcycle rental services. EagleRider operations started from humble beginnings, but they defined the untapped niche of promoting the American Dream to adventure-minded vacationers and assembled a team who are passionate about motorcycles, about travel, and about fulfilling dreams.
Chris joins me on the show today to share why he left his corporate job and became an entrepreneur, why he and his partner chose to go into motorcycle rental, and the miracle that helped get the company off the ground. He outlines his philosophy on how to overcome problems and manage setbacks and occasions when things don't go to plan. Chris also describes how the EagleRider membership program works and why they decided to go in that direction to better serve their customers.
