Chris Shepherd - James Beard Award winning Chef joins the show to talk food.  We have a fun conversation with Chris, talking his start in food to Underbelly Hospitality that he founded.  Chris takes the foods and cooking techniques from the diverse communities that we have in Houston and blends those with his cooking to create some of the best restaurants in the country.  We also talk about Southern Smoke Foundation www.southernsmoke.org which has had a tremendous impact on the Houston community and now across the United States since its inception in 2015.  

We get into foods from our early years, foods Chris loves and thinks are under utilized and foods he can't stand, like the devils fruit, the avocado.  It's a fun conversation, give it a listen.
