Let’s talk about relationships, how we can have fulfillment in our marriages. God wants you to be blessed with a happy marriage. We all have dreamed about having an amazing relationship.

You didn’t have any control over your birthday. Nobody asked you, “Are you ready to enter the world?”, it was ready or not, here you come! And we don’t have much control over this date. But in between, there’s this little dash. How you live the dash is totally up to you. How different would your dash be if live with this promise from God: I will be with you.

How many of you enjoy a nice long wait? I don't - I don't want to be put on hold, I look for the shortest line at the grocery store, the lane with the fewest number of cars. I’ve almost given up on my favorite fast-food place, Chick-fil-A because there’s almost always a long line.

God is a God of fresh beginnings and fresh starts. This series is about making new year resolutions on the promises of God rather than the wishes of man - that way you know it’s done. The key is not about our promise to God, it’s about God’s promise to us.

Forbes magazine said of the 3.23 million people in the United States, 33% of Americans watch the Super Bowl, but 40% make New Year’s resolutions. That’s roughly 1.29 million people each year. How many people actually follow through on their New Year’s resolutions 8%, ten million people. Why can’t they, why can’t we, follow through?

Between an orange and an apple pie, our choices are made on perspective. On any given day, most of us would choose the pie, but if we were on a diet, we'd be more inclined to choose the orange.
