1 John was written to assure believers of their faith. John writes a three layered test to examine our walk, our relationships, and our doctrine to know that we are walking in Eternal Life. Dare you take the test and see if you are walking in the Light?

The message of Consumer or Producer is a theme concept for Christ Community Church. IT is essential that in an age of consumerism that the church does not maintain an attitude of consumerism in the Church. Gods created us to produce His nature to a dying world. This study is in fact the key to understanding holiness and the Fruit of God’s nature produced within the believer.

The Spirit of antichrist has been in the world since Christ’s ascension. It is a force that fights against the Kingdom of God. It is fueled by the devil in order to defeat the Church but as John says greater is he that is in the world than he that is in the world. We must learn to recognize the antichrist spirit and win over ot by the love of Christ and the message of truth.

This teaching is an observation of the necessity for speaking the message of the Gospel with a new vigor for these last days. There are three commands of sharing the Gospel that need a voice and not just reading. Proclamation, teaching, and prophecy are the three vehicles of sharing the message of Christ that every believer must engage in.

In our series on 1 John we find that the second layer of John's admonition to the church is to Love like Jesus loved. This love is the new dimension of the old command to love God with our whole heart and our neighbor as ourselves. With the indwelling Holy Spirit we are now able to love as Jesus loved in order to affect a dying world.

Our identity as believers is to be conformed to the image of Christ. God gives us the DNA of Jesus in the Five Fold ministry of the Church (Apostle, Prophet, Pastor Teacher). In this gift set we can find our Jesus DNA and walk with confidence in our calling and placement in the body. How do you look like Jesus?

God has commanded us to use our bodies in this world as instruments of righteousness. The Greek word for “instrument” is weapons. We are His weapons against unrighteousness and the Lord has given us four entitlements to fight the unseen enemy. Satan is to be identified and defeated by the people of God. We must do the work we were called to accomplish.
