He guards the steps of His faithful ones, but the wicked perish in darkness; for by his own strength shall no man prevail. — 1 Samuel 2:9

God keeps the feet of his saints — that's hannah's confident declaration, and it's still true: he won't let his people fall ultimately. But the feet he keeps are feet that walk in the light. You've been washed completely by Christ; now walk the path of wisdom and don't turn aside. Paul knew it well: 'the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for his heavenly kingdom'. Your security is in him, so walk confidently but walk carefully.

He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 1:8

On the last day, Christ will present you blameless — not because you kept yourself clean, but because he keeps his own. You were once God's enemy, but he reconciled you through Christ's death to present you holy and blameless before him. He's able to keep you from stumbling and present you faultless before his glory with great joy. That's not presumption — that's faith in a faithful God. So be diligent to be found in peace, without spot or blemish, resting in the one who holds you.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. — James 4:8

Draw near to God and he'll draw near to you — that's not a transaction you earn, it's what Christ has already made possible. You have boldness to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus; the veil is torn. Enoch walked with God and God took him, and you can walk with him too. Seek him with your whole heart and you'll find him. It's good to draw near to God — he's not hiding, he's already near because Christ brought you near.

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. — Ephesians 5:17

You want to know God's will? Start by knowing God. His will isn't a hidden map you need to decode — it's that you'd be sanctified, that you'd know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent. Paul's prayer is still the right one: that God would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, because the person who knows God discerns his will. So acquaint yourself with him and be at peace — stop trying to figure out the plan and start knowing the person.

They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.” — John 12:21

We would see Jesus — that's the cry of every true believer, and here's the beautiful truth: he's already near, he won't leave you orphaned, and he's with you always. But there's more to come. Right now you see through a glass darkly; one day it'll be face to face, and when you see him as he is, you'll be like him. That hope purifies you. Keep looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” — Mark 2:5

Those four words change everything: 'your sins are forgiven.' Jesus didn't say 'maybe' or 'try harder' — he declared it with full authority. God really does blot out your transgressions, cast your sins into the sea, and remove them as far as east from west. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, and being forgiven isn't a license to sin — it's what sets you free from sin's grip, because you're no longer under law but under grace.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has torn down the dividing wall of hostility — Ephesians 2:14

Christ himself is our peace — not just the giver of peace, but peace itself. The war between you and God is over because of what he did on the cross. He reconciled you to God through his blood, took the record of your sin and nailed it to the cross out of the way, and tore down every dividing wall between jew and gentile. The peace Christ gives isn't the world's fragile truce — it's objective, settled, finished.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. — 2 Corinthians 4:18

You can't see eternity with your eyes, and that's exactly the point. Everything you can see — the pain, the disappointment, the decay — it's all temporary, but the things you can't see — Christ on the throne, your name written in heaven, the new creation — those are the solid realities. This world's not your home, and what you're going through now is light and momentary compared to the weight of glory it's producing. Don't live by what you see. Live by what's true.

Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them. — Hebrews 7:25

Christ saves to the uttermost — completely, finally, irreversibly. He's the only way, and he keeps every one of his sheep so they'll never be lost. The one who started this work in you will see it through. Nothing's too hard for him, and he's able to keep you from stumbling and present you faultless before his glory. That's the kind of savior you have.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. — 1 Corinthians 15:58

"be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord". Paul closes the resurrection chapter with marching orders. Walk in Christ, rooted and built up in him. We work with Christ for your joy, for you stand firm in the faith. Don't grow weary — your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
