Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my rebellious acts; remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your goodness, O LORD. — Psalm 25:7
It's a humbling thing to look back on the sins of your youth—the foolishness, the rebellion, the ways you ran from God. David knew that weight, and he cried out for mercy, not because he deserved it but because the Lord is good. And what a reply Scripture gives: God blots out your transgressions like a thick cloud, casting all your sins into the depths of the sea. Christ Himself has washed you from your sins in His own blood, so you can rest — your past is covered, not because you've made up for it, but because He has.
