There is undoubtedly a subtle rebuke in the Lord's words to Job. But is that the Lord's sole purpose in speaking to Job- Here we see the Lord speak about His care for the animals as an analogy of His love and care for His people.

Looking to New Testament and following the example found therein, we see that -God expects His people to take the scriptures, reflect on it, study it, restate it in their own words, and pass it down to future generations.-

God's response to Job is not what we might expect, for He points to creation as an analogy of redemption, in that Job must look at how God created and governs the world to learn about His dealings with man.
