Today's guest is Lee Ann Mancini. Lee Ann is the founder of Raising Christian Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides families with free and affordable resources to help their children develop a strong biblical foundation. She is the author of Raising Kids to Follow Christ: Instilling a Lifelong Trust in God. Lee Ann hosts the Raising Christian Kids podcast, where she equips and empowers her listeners to be the best spiritual leaders for their children. She is also an adjunct professor at South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. Lee Ann is the author of the Sea Kids series books and the executive producer of the Sea Kids animation series featured on Right Now Media, Pure Flix, Answers.Tv and other streaming platforms. Her website, RaisingChristianKids.com, offers free resources for families and ministries. She loves to read, teach, and spend time with her family. She gives glory and honor to the Father in all her endeavors and is blessed to be called by God to help all who are raising the next generation.

Bits of advice from Nicole for new homeschool moms: 
-Get clear about why you’re doing it
-Get buy-in from your spouse and your children
-Kids grow and change, so really get to know who your kids are and who they are becoming 
-If you can’t find a homeschool group, consider building your own
-Use middle school grades to see what their interests are and allow them to explore their preferences 

Advice for planning high school: 
-Start with the end in mind Help them learn how to navigate basic life skills
-Be willing to build what is not available in your area
-If nothing is available locally in your area, start with a virtual group
