Psalm 119 is a God-ordained hymn to God's Word. It is the longest chapter in the Bible. This hymn to God's Word comes to us in 22 stanzas and each stanza is represented by one of the 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. The wisdom of God has entered this world, yet the world will reject God's wisdom. We must ask, "Is that wise?" According to this world, the answer is obviously "yes." Again, we must ask, "Is that wise?"

All of humanity must know that we live in a world full of trouble, turmoil and death. In the midst of this chaos, all who slow down and think deeply, should realize this is a reality that we all share. Enter the wisdom of God. God's wisdom knows the outcome before the end arrives. The Apostle Paul put it this way: "Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God" (1 Corinthians 1:24). Jesus is God's wisdom of salvation for all to receive.

Jesus entered our world to offer all people a chance to be bound by a freedom that is a miracle. We can now be bound up in a safe freedom that has miraculous limits. "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32).

Please notice that this miraculous freedom offered by Jesus Christ is bound by two words that we must not overlook: the word "if" and the word "then." Without the "if" there can be no "then." Please pray that more and more people will accept the "if" so that they may also have the "then." Then, we all may shout with joy, and, with Jesus, "Let freedom ring!"
