What does it take to make a marriage last a lifetime? How do you keep the marriage growing? What practical steps can you take to make marriage what God desires it to be? This is the final part of this brief series.
What is Love really? Where does it come from? How do we do it effectively? What are the different needs of males and females? Rev. Munroe answers these questions in this brief which is part 2 of the briefs on this topic. ( We have 3 total)
In this book Rev. Myles Munroe teaches us about marriage - what it is, and why it exists from God's point of view. What can we do to make it be a picture of Jesus's love for the church the way God designed it?
How do we get to God's intended picture of marriage as it was in the Garden of Eden?
Rev. Myles Munroe makes a strong case for the Holy Spirit being the major reason Jesus went to the cross. It wasn't just about redeeming us, but even more about restoring the Holy Spirit to be able to live in us as He did with Adam and Eve prior to the fall.
God created us to be like Him and to rule here on Earth. This never changed. The Holy Spirit is given to enable us to rule in sync with the mind and will of God. He is our connection to Heaven to receive the commandments, and the power we need to be kingdom representatives.
We are to be Kings and Priests here on Earth. The whole way we act as light is to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can demonstrate what Heaven on Earth looks like.
In the end God's plan is to unite the Earth and Heaven, and we will rule with Him during the millenium.

The call to be a missionary is as close as we get today to the life of the Apostles. Apostle means "sent ones" in the Greek. Gladys was a supremely effective missionary. If your life didn't start with a lot of promise, but you know God is calling you to something else, then listen to this brief and get inspired by how God used Gladys.
In the same way He used her though she was from very humble beginnings, He can use you.
This is a power packed book. I've had the pleasure of hearing Rev. Wilkinson speak in person and it is a treat because he has seen the fruits that come from praying The Prayer of Jabez daily for more than 50 years.
It will revolutionize your walk with Christ. The key is God has much more for us to know and to do than we could ever imagine. He is calling us to step out and take spiritual territory for His kingdom.
This short prayer is very helpful towards that end!

Many believers think the most holy life is to be a full time minister of the gospel. While it is true that God calls some to this, it is also true that He calls others to the Marketplace and to Marketplace Ministry.
This book is a classic tale that uses a story to teach key principles about living with respect to being an effective stewart of your financial resources and lessons about the marketplace ministry.
No matter what calling God gave you it is to be a place of ministry and you are to be a good steward of the resources you are given. Learn about the principles of good stewardship here.
Tozer gives his usual practical and down to earth yet on target thoughts on How to Be Filled With The Holy Spirit.
He shares:
1.Who the Holy Spirit is
2. The Promise given by God regarding the Holy Spirit
3. How the New Testament can be partitioned around the Holy Spirit
4. How to be filled with the Holy Spirit
5. How to grow your relationship with the Holy Spirit

This is considered to be one of the classic books in all of Christendom. Tozer wrote it to address what he felt was the problem of the day - people pursuing programs and theological knowledge rather than God.
But how do you pursue God? In this excellent book Tozer lays out keys to creating a real experential life with God. One that looks more like the life of a prophet - who reports what he sees and/ or hears, than a scribe. ( A scribe writes about what he read.)
We want to be talking about what we've seen of God / experienced with Him.
This book builds on the biblical foundation laid out by Paul in Ephesians chapter 5. The author posits that what men need is respect, and what women need in a relationship is love.
Might i mention unconditional respect, and unconditional love.
He builds out a framework for how to do this. For the men to show love to their wives: the acronym COUPLE. For women to respect their husband: CHAIRS.
This brief in combination with the 5 Love Languages brief are powerful aids we think.
