What's up, dudes? Adam Pope from Wizards! The Podcast Guide to Comics and The Retro Network is here to talk about the 1983 Disney Channel show “Welcome to Pooh Corner!” That’s right! It’s a live action Pooh bear and all the Hundred Acre Wood friends!

In “Christmas at Pooh Corner,” Pooh can hardly contain his excitement for Christmastide. When his Pooh-koo clock alerts him that the season has arrived, he immediately goes to tell his friends. Poor gloomy Eeyore is upset though that all his attempts to to make Christmas cards have failed. Pooh convinces him to tag along, and they pair try to make homemade ornaments. Having failed yet another task, Eeyore leaves and joins Roo and Tigger caroling. He sings the wrong words and leaves dejected. On Christmas Eve, a huge snowstorm leaves Pooh, Piglet, and Rabbit stranded. Owl enlists Eeyore’s aid, and, using the large swing his friends made for him previously, he rescues his friends. Everyone agrees that being together for Christmas is the best present of all. Oh, and Santa comes and fills their stockings, so…win!

 So grab your oversized swing sleigh, hitch up your gloomy donkey, and ride into this episode all about "Welcome to Pooh Corner!"
