After shooting and killing his stepfather, Vincent McDorman, 18-year-old Christopher Bennett was questioned by police in Virginia and confessed to the killing. In Part 4, we hear how the police interrogation unfolded and what Chris told investigators.

With Vincent McDorman dead and Chris now in police custody, attention turned from what happened inside the family home to the criminal investigation and the case being built against him.

Chris takes Jack through his memories of the police interrogation, his confession and the decisions he made in the immediate aftermath of the shooting — decisions that would ultimately lead towards a plea deal and three consecutive life sentences totalling 1,800 years.
