At its January 29, 2026, hybrid meeting, the 25 Mililani-Waipio Neighborhood Board covered local crime and safety updates from HPD, Army job opportunities, teacher workforce housing project details, new water rebates, an upcoming GROW composting pilot, and various committee and elected official reports, while also approving previous minutes and addressing community concerns before adjourning.

At the January 28, 2026 Pearl City Neighborhood Board Meeting, participants discussed Honolulu Fire Department updates, efforts to expand Hawaiian language immersion, a homeless garbage collection pilot, student-designed dog park concepts, and various city and legislative initiatives, culminating in plans for ongoing collaboration to address community needs and improvements.

At its January 28, 2026 meeting, the Hawaiʻi Kai Neighborhood Board addressed filling vacant seats, reviewed fire and police reports along with water supply alerts, heard school and community updates, discussed proposed fencing in Upper Pīʻā Valley and a Verizon tower, introduced a new organic waste pilot, reaffirmed opposition to reclassifying preservation land, and concluded with key insights from elected officials on neighborhood projects and concerns.

During the January 23, 2026 Waipahu Neighborhood Board meeting, officials delivered fire and crime updates, heard Army announcements on hiring fairs and training, voted to vacate a seat, addressed scheduling changes and community concerns about sidewalks and traffic, and received city and legislative reports on service improvements, legislative priorities, and local cleanup efforts.

During the January 23, 2026 Kaimukī Neighborhood Board meeting, officials and residents discussed HPD crime statistics and safety advice, BWS rebate enhancements, DOT’s Kōkoa Head off-ramp improvements, cell tower health concerns, the Exceptional Tree Program, an FAA flight path resolution, legislative updates, a proposed kyūdō facility at Maumai Nature Park, and changes to future board meeting dates.
