The July 30 North Shore Neighborhood Board meeting covered public-safety reports, wildfire and ocean hazards, traffic and infrastructure concerns, land-use enforcement, support for a long-term polo pasture lease, the Shark’s Cove first-responder hub, environmental and resilience initiatives, and numerous community service updates.

The July 30 Hawaiʻi Kai Neighborhood Board meeting covered public safety, infrastructure, schools, conservation, sanitation, transportation, and community issues, while approving support for commercial aquarium-fish collection bans and reelecting its officers.

The meeting addressed extensive public-safety, homelessness, traffic, Kuile Place development, infrastructure, emergency preparedness, city services, and community concerns, while electing board officers and adopting reduced hours for Kalo/Kālua Mini Park.

The July 24, 2026 Waipahu Neighborhood Board meeting elected officers, reaffirmed its schedule and procedures, addressed traffic-safety and development concerns, received community updates, and hosted a wide-ranging forum featuring candidates’ positions on housing, affordability, infrastructure, education, public safety, and taxes.

The July 23, 2026 Neighborhood Board meeting covered public-safety updates, board reorganization, infrastructure and emergency-preparedness concerns, community services, and extensive debate over JERA’s proposed LNG and power facility, with existing opposition reaffirmed and follow-up actions assigned.

The Mililani-Waipiʻo Neighborhood Board convened its first 2026–2027 meeting, elected officers, addressed public safety and infrastructure concerns, honored Senator Michelle Kidani and her staff, reviewed the Kumelevai Hale educator housing project, and approved its schedule, committees, and public-comment rules.

The July 22, 2026 Nuuanu-Punchbowl Neighborhood Board meeting lacked quorum, so members discussed public-safety, infrastructure, environmental, transportation, housing, and community concerns but could not vote, approve minutes, or elect officers, with follow-ups scheduled for the August 18 meeting.

The board retained its officers and meeting procedures, appointed Anna Hudson, addressed neighborhood traffic and development concerns, reviewed state and city updates, and recessed for August until its September 15, 2026 meeting.

The July 21, 2026 Wahiawā–Whitmore Village Neighborhood Board meeting addressed public safety, military and community matters, infrastructure and environmental concerns—especially strong opposition to the proposed pedestrian bridge—social services, transportation, and local government updates.

At its July 6, 2026 meeting, Neighborhood Board 13 addressed public-safety and infrastructure concerns, appointed Ian Nguyen to its vacant seat, reelected its officers, reviewed upcoming Chinatown festivals and government updates, and set priorities for future agendas and community action.
