Touch His feet. Feel the warmth. Solid flesh beneath trembling fingers.
Hear the clink of silver. Count the coins. Blood money pooling in greedy palms.
Two responses to one empty tomb.
Today’s Scripture reflections:
First Reading (Acts 2:14, 22-33): Peter boldly proclaims the resurrection, declaring Jesus as Lord and Messiah.
Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 16:1-2a, 5, 7-8, 9-10, 11): You will show me the path to life, fullness of joy in Your presence.
Gospel (Matthew 28:8-15): The risen Christ appears to the women, while the guards spread a false narrative about His missing body.
Through these readings, we are invited to trust in the living Christ, to reject the counterfeit stories of fear and control, and to choose resurrection life with boldness and joy.
