Have you ever sat down at a D&D session zero and thought, "this time, I'm playing a spell caster", only to immediately fold on that idea as soon as you looked over a spell list? Well, it's more common than you may think. "Spell Stress"* affects millions** of would-be casters every year. If only there were easier ways to break it all down and keep your spells straight...

Oh, wait, there are.

This week in the Rose Garden, Caitie and Soren break down their go-to solutions for keeping all of their spells straight and easy-to-find! From visual aids to mental practices, at least one of their rituals ought to help you wrangle those spells into a manageable and cohesive state. So grab your spell books, a bevie, and lets get organized!

*Not a real, measured affliction(yet).

You know when you're trying to leave a social engagement but your parental unit keeps talking to someone at the party, dragging their feet, and you want to tell them to hurry the heck up?

Now just imagine that parent is also an elf,(who isn't related to you) is so powerful that they could level your workplace with a flick of their wrist, and is sometimes emotionally inept. (that may not take much imagination!) Now you have a Frieren!

This week, join Soren and Caitie in the Rose Garden as they give you the blueprints to making your own Frieren-inspired character for D&D! No, it's not just "make a wizard", and it is a surprisingly involved role to tackle! So come take a seat and listen, you brave (and cute, sheesh) souls, while we work together to make a blueprint for your own Frieren-inspired-PC!

It is that time once again in the Garden to check in on our two favorite(and only) Gardeners to find out what they have been up to when not in front of the camera! Commonly known fact: They do exist outside of the frame you see them in. Little known maybe-fact: The 'J' in "TJ" stands for "Jelilah".

This week it's time for Vibes and Thrives, for a fifth time! So grab a warm cup of something cozy and join Caitie and Soren as they catch us up on everything they've been achieving and enjoying over the fall/winter transition!

From the outside looking in, you're likely to have LOTS of questions about Dungeons and Dragons. Like, how do you even play? Why so many dice? Who do I talk to in order to get an invite? Who decides what the story is about? Can I eat the dice? What if I don't like my character? Do the dice taste good? What if my tummy hurts(not from eating dice)? Well, if you've wondered any amount of these surface level concerns, or even had some deeper ones, you have stumbled into the right episode!

This week in the Rose Garden, join Soren and Caitie in this interactive episode as they tackle listener questions about all things Dungeons & Dragons! From optimizing gameplay and navigating character mechanics to handling interpersonal challenges at the table, they’ve got advice for players of all experience levels. Tune in for practical tips, insightful discussions, and a few laughs along the way!
