Roleplaying in a TTRPG is obviously super important, 'cuz it's right there in the name (the RP part). But in order to do that effectively, you need to have a good foundation. A place to summon those traits and motivations from, in order to really put the oomph into your character moments. That place? It's a little town called "Backstory".

As the leaves fall and the temperature travels alongside them, here in the Garden we like to take some time to reflect on the important questions. For instance: how many pumpkin-flavored things are too many? What is the most efficient way to layer for 50 degree mornings to 80 degree afternoons? And perhaps most importantly; if you want to play as an extremely spooky and mysterious lil deviant in a game of D&D, who should you draw inspiration from??
