The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a new twist, and perhaps the true essence of what communication and engagement truly means.
As teams in organisations bring their work to the virtual platform, how does communication and engagement look like? What are the concerns of team leaders and team members, as they go about their work? What do I need to take note of, as I communicate and engage my team moving forward?
An interesting conversation, conducted collaboratively with founders of 3 different companies, located both in Singapore and Malaysia. The pandemic provided opportunities for more cross-border collaborations, and this is the first experiment by us, amongst many more to come!
What is Sunday chaT.E.A.?
Just like a lazy Sunday afternoon, this series allows for us to do just that:
* chill and relax
* have some tea, or "cha" (which is tea is mandarin)
* reflect and become aware of our Thoughts, Emotions and Actions (T.E.A.)
* have a good chaT about the topics with family and friends
Context / Back Story :
This is a collaborative series between Singing Techniques and Chrysalists.
Conducted in a format of a conversation between two friends (fun fact : Michelle and Bevlyn were primary school classmates!), the intent is to share a little bit more about the human psychology : what makes us tick (or not). And how some aspects of this psychology, may or may not serve us, in our lives, as singers and performers, and just simply, being human.
The series includes conversations on :
* Empathy
* Ego
* Judgement & Perfection
* Vulnerability
* Success

Essentially, change is not the issue, and humans adapt to change quite easily. It is the expectations that we might have for ourselves and others, during the process of change, that makes the process challenging, stressful and perhaps even anxious.
