There are 3 different suits of simples and in each suit the tiles are numbered from 1 to 9. The suits are: bamboos, circles(dots) and characters. 
麻将牌有3种不同的花色，每一种花色都有从1到9各4张牌。这三种花色分别是：条、筒、万。

The winner has a combination of four sets and one pair.
