  • Why Jews Are Hated

Dr. Dennis Hall begins this podcast by examining feelings of hate and describing the differences between anger and contempt. He explains how studies have demonstrated that hate can spread from one generation to another more easily than anger. Studies have also shown that hate can develop from stories told by others and be just as intense as if they had experienced it themselves. Hate crimes in the U.S. are discussed, especially the significant increase in hate crimes against Jews. The murder of Mary Fagan and the lynching of Jewish businessman Leo Frank is discussed as an example of anti-semitism. Dr. Hall suggests that anti-semitism began after The Ten Commandments were given to the nation of Israel. He points out how the Christian world blamed Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus contributing to anti-semitism. Some of the myths and falsehoods about Jewish people are discussed. The discrimination against Jews is reviewed. The podcast ends with Dr. Hall asking listeners to pray for Israel and the victims of the war on Israel.  Can also  be seen on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/XMKN8uEFHGw

  • Who Created Israel?

Dr. Dennis Hall discusses the devastating assault on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. He describes the Gaza Strip where 2 million Palestinians live. Israel is then described in stark contrast to the living conditions of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The reasons that Israel is considered the Holy Land by Muslims, Jews, and Christians is explored. If you are a God-believing follower of Jesus Christ, Dr. Hall outlines the reasons that you should care about the nation of Israel. He focuses on the covenant that the prophet Abraham had with God. In this covenant, God promised to give to Abraham and his people the whole land of Canaan, modern-day Israel. Dr. Hall states that it was God who formed the nation of Israel. He briefly reviews the history of the Jewish people from Old Testament days to contemporary times. Dr. Hall closes the podcast by pointing to the apostle Paul’s words in Romans 11:13-18. Paul pointed out that God wants his chosen people, the Jews to become jealous of the salvation made available to Gentiles. In other words, beyond just caring for and about the Jewish people, believers in Jesus Christ are called to provoke the Jewish people to godly jealousy. This is a responsibility that the Gentile believers carry, one that has been entrusted to them by God. In this current war on Israel, we must pray for this nation and the victims of this current conflict. Can also be seen on YouTube at:

  • Where is God?

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, asks the question, “Where is God?” He proceeds to explain God’s all-powerful and all-knowing nature which leads us to say that He is sovereign over the universe. How man’s free will fits into this theological puzzle is explored. Dr. Hall makes the point that mankind’s free choices are just as necessary for the true sovereignty of God as His ability to enact his will whenever and however He chooses. Dr. Hall points out several reasons for us to be celebrating God’s sovereign rule. There are a number of reasons that God permits suffering which all relate to the expansion of his kingdom. God even uses suffering to wake up a sleeping church to take risks for God. Examples are given to demonstrate how suffering can serve to create opportunities to be a witness for Christ’s suffering. Dr. Hall ends the podcast with several thoughts from Scripture, concluding that the joy of suffering for Christ’s sake makes the supremacy of a sovereign God shine more clearly than all of our gratitude for any wealth. • Walking in the Spirit

Ordained minister, Dennis Hall and his guest, Pastor Geroge Whirley, New Creation Restoration Church and Prison ministry, Indianapolis, Indiana discussed the Holy Spirit and the role that the Holy Spirit plays in the lives of the followers of Jesus. When a person believes in Christ, the Holy Spirit immediately becomes a permanent part of their life. “Those who are led by the spirit of God are the children” (Romans 8:14). How one knows the difference between their own thoughts and the spirit’s leading is explored. The parameters of spiritual warfare, wickedness, and corruption are outlined. On the spiritual battlefield, we need to know our enemy. We need to understand the battlefronts. Accepting ourselves for what we are is critical in this battle. Our weaknesses need to be identified and the biggest ally on the spiritual battlefield is the Holy Spirit. These two pastors provide some concrete ideas about walking in the spirit each day. The podcast concludes by acknowledging that Christians who walk in the fullness of the spirit still have problems. But when we are walking in the spirit our problems can be faced with a calm and confident attitude because of God’s divine resources which are available to his followers. • Skin Hunger

Dr. Dennis Hall discusses how God has fine-tuned the human body through the creation of our senses. He focuses on the sense of touch that is made possible by the neural receptors in our skin. All of the things that our skin can tell us about pain, temperature, injury, and textures is outlined. He then turns his attention to things that can go wrong with our sense of touch. Human beings are wired to be touched. Dr. Hall addresses what's psychologists call skin hunger and what happens when we don't experience adequate physical touch. He points out that there is another meaning to touch that's more than physical. It is emotional and spiritual. Many have had their souls touched by God's love and grace. The Scripture speaks of man having their hearts touched by God, and when Jesus was here he touched many including the eyes of the blind, ears of the deaf, the tongues of the dumb, and he healed all of them. The touch of God is an actual touch. It is a real connection. Dr. Hall concludes the podcast by pointing out how awesome it is to have your heart touched by God, and that you can experience this by being open and desiring the touch of God. • Is Anybody Out There?

UFOs, aliens, and extraterrestrials are the subject of this podcast hosted by Dr. Dennis Hall. He points out that scientists have been trying to make contact with extraterrestrial civilizations since 1974 and that 65% of Americans believe intelligent life exists outside the earth. His current interest in this subject was sparked by the hearing conducted by the US Congress on UFOs in July. The Catholic Church and Protestant churches have left the question of extraterrestrials and unsettled question. Dr. Hall emphatically states that he does not believe that extraterrestrials will ever be found and that they do not exist, based on the word of God. He points out that the Bible teaches that Jesus died on the cross to redeem the brokenness of mankind on, earth, and that there is nothing to indicate that this sacrifice applies to intelligent extraterrestrials on other planets. Some suggest perhaps aliens may not need redemption. Some suggest that perhaps God has he been incarnated on alien planets to provide redemption in those worlds. Some respond by suggesting that perhaps extraterrestrials could have their own way to God that is different from the paths humans have to God. Christians know that Jesus taught us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father is except through me.” It is clear that Jesus is talking about the earthly Savior, not some extraterrestrial being. The biblical story of end times does not make room for extraterrestrial beings. Dr. Hall spends some time talking about the fine tuning of the earth and universe to make life possible. The podcast concludes by pointing out that the greatest miracle of all time is the universe. The miracle of all miracles, one that points with the combined brightness of every star to something beyond itself, God. God created the earth that is so finely tuned that it could support human beings who would worship him. God’s biblical plans and science prove that extraterrestrials will never be anything more than a figment of imagination. Can be heard on all podcast search engines. Can be seen on YouTube at:

  • Demons and Psychics

Dr. Dennis Hall addresses the general fascination with demon possession and exorcism, noting that over the last 20 years, there have been nearly 50 movies about demons and exorcism. These movies have distributed a lot of fake information about demons. The only reliable source of information about demons is the Bible. The Bible tells us demons are fallen Angels who joined Satan and his rebellion against God. The Archangel Michael and his angels fought against Satan and his followers which resulted in these demons being cast out of heaven. Demons can possess people and cause them physical and spiritual harm and make them do evil. Dr. Hall points out that getting rid of the demon can be dangerous. He points to Matthew 12:45 which tells us without proper spiritual care a demonized person can become seven times more demonized. The main mission of demons is to make humans sin. The more we sin, the farther we are separated from God giving demons the opportunity to attack. They have countless ways to take us out but the good news is a relationship with God makes it impossible for demons to attack us. Dr. Hall discusses how psychics, fortunetellers, and witchcraft have become part of mainstream America. He quotes Deuteronomy 18:10-11 on God’s warning that anyone who practices sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium are spiritualist or who consults with the dead is detestable to the Lord. Dr. Hall reviews three things the result in not seeing demon-possessed people in America. It is pointed out that the apostle Paul’s description of the armor of God in Ephesians 6 are the things that prevent demons from attacking believers and followers of Jesus. A demon-free life is possible when the Holy Spirit lives within us. Can also be seen on YouTube at :

  • Why They Hate Us

Dr. Dennis Hall addresses the climate of this dislike, distrust, and hatred that exists in American society. He reviews the gradual movement of Democrats and Republicans along urban/rural and liberal/conservative lines, noting a large percentage of evangelical Christians have aligned with the Republican party. He notes that 40 years ago Democrats and Republicans felt okay about the opposing political party, but for the last four decades, political partisans have increasingly turned against each other. Leaders in both parties accuse the others of destroying our democracy and demeaning name-calling is commonplace among politicians. A discussion of how Christians have been caught up in this atmosphere of hate, being referred to as bigoted homophobic misogynistic xenophobic hatemongers who through their antiabortion activities wage a war on women. He points out that there is no comparison between the horrors of genocide against Christians around the world, but there is a quiet persecution of believers in the West. The question of, “Why are Christians hated so much?” is analyzed. Dr. Hall concludes that just like Jesus Christians of today make others uncomfortable due to their moral high ground. The podcast outlines Dr. Michael A. Milton’s article, “3 Real Ways Christians Can Love Their Enemies.” Lesson one – Remember the concept of enemy is not a permanent state but a temporary position. Many who curse God today will be preaching his word tomorrow. Lesson two – We must realize that we, too, were once enemies of God. Lesson three – We love our enemies so that we might please the God who loved us. The podcast ends by reminding the listeners that Jesus is showing us how to love our enemies and teaching us why we must love them. Can also be seen on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/4GGp7ohlz-I

  • The Lost Son

Pastor Dennis Hall and pastor George Whirley, New Creation Restoration Church and Prison Ministry, Indianapolis, Indiana tackle Jesus' story of the Lost (Prodigal) Son. This story appears only once in the Bible, Luke 15:11-32, and it is about a young man who asked for his inheritance, and squandered it, wasted it on riotous living with harlots.Since his request for his inheritance was made while his father was living, it was interpreted as a wish for his father's death. These kinds of feelings are not uncommon among some youth today. Thousands of young people distance themselves from family, God, and church as they seek worldly pleasure. These pastors discuss what it means to hit bottom as happens to the younger son in Jesus' story of the Lost Son. In today's world, this would be when young people are living in shelters, in the basements of friends, or under bridges and are being fed by local charities. The challenge of parents deciding when to rescue or when to practice tough love is explored. The fact that God can achieve miracles among rebellious disobedient children is motivation to keep praying. Jesus tells us that the younger son in his story comes to his senses, repents and returns to his father willing to become one of his servants. The father does not question our lecture the son; instead, he joyfully receives him back into the fellowship of the family. The older son in this story resents the action of his father, after all he had remained loyal and obedient. The podcast concludes with admonitions to humble ourselves, admit our sins and ask forgiveness from our heavenly father who is ready to forgive and only asks that we be committed to accepting Jesus as his son and our Lord and Savior.
