Esteemed author, educator, and pastor, Dr. Michael A. Milton is the featured guest on this podcast. The host Dr. Dennis Hall, an ordained minister leads Dr. Milton through a discussion of his book, "Hit by Friendly Fire." Friendly fire is described as unexpected attacks by those we trust and love, many times other Christians. The impact that this kind of pain can have on our minds and bodies is explored. It is pointed out that the clock stops when this happens, and our spiritual transformation is interrupted. These theologians use Scripture to outline how God often brings good out of evil and how His infinite wisdom overrules human events to end in his praise. In God, there can be no more victims-only victors. Can also be seen on YouTube at:

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, uses the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment to explain the nature of water to the life and health of people. More than 120 million people in the United States rely on unregulated private wells for their water supply. He describes the different types of water wells that exist in the U.S. A major chemical spill occurred in East Palestine and the officials advised people with wells, "Don't Drink the Water." Dr. Hall points out that humans can only survive three or four days without water. He reviews how critically important water wells were in the history of Israel. The story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well is used to demonstrate a thirst more intense than the thirst for water. Dr. Hall outlines five things that make him want to shout, "Don't Drink the Water! " These things are contemporary heresies. He concludes by urging listeners to drink the living waters of Jesus Christ. Can also be seen on YouTube at:

Dennis Hall and his guest, Justin Bohner, Assistant Pastor, First Baptist Church, Highlands, NC discuss the fact that almost 90% of the adults in America are concerned about the state of moral values in the nation. Two-thirds of all American adults see morality as a matter of cultural consensus, meaning every culture must determine acceptable morality for its people. In spite of this, almost 60% believe the Bible provides the absolute moral truths which are the same for all people, in all situations, without exception. David Kinnaman, President of Barna Research, believesthat moral code that can be called "the morality of self-fulfillment" has all but replaced Christianity as the culture's norm. With this backdrop, the discussion focuses on the scriptural teaching in 1 John 2:15-16, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For everything in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the Hepride of life – comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. " The concerns of listeners who do not feel much love for God or feel that their love for God has grown weak and cool is discussed in the closing moments of this podcast. Ordained minister, Dennis Hall and his guest Pastor George Whirley, New Creation Restoration Church and Prison Ministry, Indianapolis, Indiana, discuss the recent beating of an Afro-American man in Memphis by a group of Afro-American police officers who have now been charged with murder. They recount some of the murderers mentioned in Scripture and how these murders seem to be motivated by greed, power, sex, revenge, and hate reasons. In Mathew 5 Jesus warns against murder and even says those who are filled with anger will be judged. Examples of indiscriminate killing of civilians in war zones were reviewed with the suggestion that society has placed our contemporary police offices in a war zone atmosphere. If society wants to prevent future incidents of police brutality, an investment in an adequate number of chaplains on police forces must be made. The dignity of our neighbors will only be recognized when God is in the life of a community and police force.
Dr. Dennis Hall reviews the various forms of censorship that are taking place on social media, television, and the Internet, He talks about the recent information that has been released demonstrating that the FBI,CIA, Pentagon other government agencies met regularly with virtually every major tech firm in an effort to suppress information that would be detrimental to Joe Biden's presidential bid. The huge role that social media plays in the distribution of information and contemporary society is demonstrated. Dr. Hall describes how censorship on social media has harmed the Christian message about morality in our country. The principles used by our founding fathers for the framework of the constitution are outlined, demonstrating the role God played in the founding of our Nation. The threat of immorality to our country is discussed, stressing the importance of the God-given freedom of speech that enables people of faith to guide the nation on moral matters.

Dr. Dennis Hall and his guest Dr. Michael A. Milton, a highly regarded pastor, author, artist, educator, evangelist, and singer-songwriter, illuminate the listeners with a definition of New Socialism in contemporary society. They compare socialism to Christianity, noting that socialism is an economic ideology where the state decides who benefits from the distribution of wealth. In socialism, the rich who do not voluntarily support the state are punished while the poor who surrender to the state are rewarded. In Christianity, all, rich or poor, are raised up when their spiritual attitudes are in line with God. In socialism, the state will steal private property from its lawful owners and give it to those that the state deems worthy. In Christianity, coveting your neighbor's goods is a sin included in the Ten Commandments. Socialism vilifies the family unit to enable the state to gain power. Dr. Milton uses a metaphor of a herd of hyenas killing an antelope on the Serengeti to describe how the socialists gradually weaken those unwilling to surrender to the state. This podcast ends with the admonition that Christians must fight to protect God-given rights threatened by socialism and be a witness for Jesus Christ as the light of the world. Dennis Hall and his guest George Whirley, Pastor, New Creation Restoration Church, and Prison Ministry, Indianapolis, Indiana examine the origins of New Year's Day celebrations. Celebrating New Year's Eve goes back 4000 years ago to the Babylonians who conducted a massive festival that lasted for 11 days, that involved making offerings to their pagan gods whose images were carried along the parade routes. They also made resolutions to their pagan gods. The excessive drinking and riotous behavior at today's New Year's celebrations seem very similar to the pagan cultures of the past. Most have already given up on their new year's resolutions by the middle of January. In the Christian faith, we also have a problem with resolutions and repentance. James 5:16 teaches "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." God is telling us to confess our sins to one another so that we can bear one another's burdens and be effective with prayer for others. Jesus has called us to repent from sinful lives. We cannot transform our lives without total surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Can also be viewed on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/_E2p1yqT4tU
In an effort to kill the baby Jesus, Herod the Great orders all the male children under two years old in the Bethlehem area to be killed. Acknowledging how deeply the killing of children offends our moral sensibilities, Dr. Dennis Hall reviews the many times in Scripture that children are killed because of the sins of mankind and reflects on contemporary catastrophic events that have killed children. He points out that God has the right to allow the end of life for everyone on earth, including children. Children who have not reached the age of accountability when they die experience immediate salvation. The role of Satan in evil is discussed. The children killed by the evil king, Herod the Great, were well below the age of accountability and God provided them immediate salvation, free from the pain and sorrow of this world. It is an important part of the history of the birth of Jesus. Can also be see on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/joAL1jrrxbQ.
Dr. Dennis Hall delves into the story in Matthew 2 which tells us that the Magi (Wise Men) from the East came to Jerusalem and had been following a star leading them to the newborn King of the Jews, Jesus. The star eventually led them to baby Jesus and his mother Mary. They bowed down and worshiped him and presented him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The value of these gifts is explained, along with the origins of these substances. Dr. Hall analyzes the symbolism of these gifts and why they were perfect for the King of Kings. This podcast ends with the question of what God really wants as a gift.
Ordained Minister Dennis Hall and his guest Justin Bohner, Assistant Pastor, First Baptist Church, Highlands, North Carolina examine what God told us about the birth of Jesus through Old Testament prophets, hundreds of years before the event occurred. In Isaiah 7:14 it is foretold that a virgin will conceive and give birth to a son known as Immanuel. In the New Testament, Matthew and Luke write about this event that sets the stage for the supernatural life of Jesus, the supernatural resurrection, and the ascension to God's right hand. In Genesis 49 we are told to expect a descendent of Judah that all nations will bring tribute worship before him. In Micah 5 the prophet tells us that a ruler of Israel will come from Bethlehem. In Matthew 1 we are told that Jesus is from the seed of Abraham. God had entered into a covenant with Abraham and promised he would do seven things: I will make you a great nation. I will bless you. I will make your name great. I will make you a blessing. I will bless those who bless you. Those who curse you I will curse. In you, all the families of earth will be blessed. The seed of Abraham that blessed all of the nations was Jesus Christ. No event has impacted the world more than the birth of Jesus and God told us so hundreds of years before the event.
