An interview with Michael Voris by PCh24.pl Polonia Christiana at the conclusion of the 2018 Synod on the Youth.
I'm Michael Voris coming to you from Rome with a simple message: If you call yourself Catholic, you need to witness to the truth and get in the fight. The mauling, the mangling that Holy Mother Church has gone through is atrocious. It's been going on for half a century.
She has been so disfigured by leaders that the world no longer recognizes Her holiness, Her uniqueness. This must end, and the leaders, too many of them, simply do not care to bring it to an end.
Many them as you know are actually complicit in bringing this ruination about. Somewhere back up the line, for a variety of causes, many of them completely disengaged in the work of fighting for souls.
Some were communist plants in seminaries who gained power and influence in the Church and then set about to chase out good men and bring in bad men as the next generation of priests. Other men of power and influence in the Church were and are Freemasons, men who hold the ideology that the Catholic Church must be destroyed in her teachings.
Both of these camps have active homosexuals within their ranks. Sometimes the homosexuals are wedded to the ideological causes of the above groups, sometimes they're just all about the sex and easy life.
And sometimes, the homosexuals prey on youth, and that's where all of it all comes out into the public, and the plans of the devil get exposed.
For all the blather from bishops in the United States about how great things have been with regard to minor children not being raped by clergy any longer — which is true — think about the nightmare that claim is.
True, once the media exposed what the bishops had been covering up for decades, and lawsuits cost the bishops $4 billion — yep — they sure did straighten up and fly right. And all it took was being lambasted for years in tens of thousands of stories in the secular media and going bankrupt.
The idea that Catholics are supposed to take some solace in that is absurd because the truth is, the evil has simply shifted. The area of minors being sexually assaulted has diminished, but the assault on young adults and the accompanying non-response as well as the perversion of the priesthood has continued unabated.
See, the rape of altar boys by priests was always just one symptom of the much larger issue of what has happened to the priesthood and the episcopate. It's just that it got a lot of attention from the media and the courts — deservedly — so in these cases, the bishops had to act.
But 16 years later, here we are again, still with a twisted crop of clergy like James Martin and all the rest of his homoclerical supporters who, while not necessarily advocating for child rape or covering it up anymore, are still content to assault the faithful spiritually.
And for the record, as wicked and damaging and hurtful as the physical assaults have been, the spiritual assaults are far worse. But since the media doesn't care to report on homosexual priests and bishops having "consensual sex" with each other or with non-clergy, there's not been a push from within to change this evil behavior.
There are no headlines and no lawsuits and no huge loss of funds so no big deal — business as usual. But there is a loss of truth and goodness and beauty. The spiritual raping of the faithful by these wicked men needs to be called out and change must be demanded.
Perverts and Freemasons and the heirs of communist sympathizers cannot be accepted into the seminaries or appointed to positions of influence in the Church — period.
There is very little hunger among the more senior clergy in the Church to bring about any of this change because, indeed, they are the problem. Many think there is nothing wrong with homosexual men in their ranks, many of them are homosexual themselves so no surprise there.
There are undoubtedly a few homosexual priests and bishops who manage to live chaste lives and maintain teaching orthodoxy, but they are still damaged goods because they will not stand up as men and defeat the evil within their own ranks.
And they are outnumbered, making the challenge even greater. They are perhaps afraid they will be outed by fellow clergy who "know about them" from their days in seminary when they were a little less guarded.
They are perhaps a little reticent to stand up and declare the truth, feeling a touch of hypocrisy, even though they themselves have kept clean. They may perhaps be sympathetic to fellow clergy who have not been chaste, willing to give them the benefit of a doubt.
The point is this: The homosexual bishop — even the chaste ones — sees the world of the Church through the lens of his homosexuality. He either accommodates it, makes excuses it for it or downplays it. He will seldom if ever call it out, within his own ranks, among his brother bishops.
They all know it, and no one says anything about it, so you have the ridiculous situation of a Cdl. Cupich — and many others — blaming everything on clericalism and actually denying any of this evil is related to homosexuality, while everyone on Earth knows better.
Commonweal is a typically liberal magazine, and even they publish it. Everyone knows this and says it except the bishops — and the Catholic establishment media.
But things are changing, if only slowly. For instance, Church Militant is standing right here smack dab middle of the Via Della Conciliazione talking about this. Other faithful Catholics in the world of the internet are talking about this. They are reporting on it.
Not because we hate gays and are homophobes — a psychological condition which doesn't even exist — but because we love the Church and are all witnesses to the truth.
Look at this picture I took on my phone the other evening strolling back from dinner.
This is what so many of us want to see, the glory and beauty and majesty of the Church. We want it restored. We want this brought to the forefront again. We want this to be what people see when they look at Our Mother.
We want them to see the truth — that She is established by the Son of God to lead souls to eternal life in the Holy Trinity — to live forever with our families who shared this same faith with us here in the Church Militant on Earth.
This is what we fight for? This is what we are vilified for and mocked for all the rest. And we don't care. Eternal life makes all that meaningless.
None of us — and there are many good people fighting this fight in Catholic media, faithful media — none of us are in this for the money or the headaches or anything else except the salvation of souls through the Holy Catholic Church.
What are you fighting for? Are you fighting for the truth — Catholic truth? Are you laying it on the line, fighting the perversion of the truth that has been brought about by the homoheresy and Freemasonry and lackluster leaders?
All this, every bit of it, must be challenged, this rot, this filth, this wickedness — all of it — because it obscures the glory of the Church, the Bride of Christ.
Our Blessed Lord will save His Church. The question for each of us is, will I be able to stand before Him at my hour and say, I let you use me to help do so?
Fight for the Church — with everything you have. Fight for Her. Be a witness to the truth.

So the Catholic Church in America has a dirty little secret it doesn't really want to know. It's this— how many people who convert to Catholicism through RCIA actually remain practicing Catholics? In short, just how good is the RCIA thing in making people saints? Becoming a saint or at least striving for sainthood is the heart of the Church's mission. If that is not happening then the parish and diocese are failing in its mission.
Here's what needs to be looked at carefully and called into question: The devastation to the Faith that has occurred over the past 50 years is finally having to be dealt with honestly as bishops all over the country close down parishes and schools etc. They can no longer deny that their actions or inaction have wrought destruction on a scale never before seen. So a good number of bishops have implemented various programs to try and stem the flow out of the Church. By far and away, the vast majority of these efforts encompass some sort of watering down of the Faith to make it more palatable to non-Catholics or poorly educated Catholics in an effort to get them to return.
They call it "pre-evangelization," as in get em' in the Church before you can preach em' the Gospel. Problem is, often times, when they do have some marginal success in getting them in the Church, they often times never get around to really preaching. And here's where the dirty little secret comes in — loads of these new people end up leaving cuz' all they are getting is the meringue and no substance. Since no one keeps any official track of these numbers, it's anyone's guess, but informal discussions with various people in the Church who touch all this on a daily basis suggest that as many as 50 percent of RCIA converts leave after the first year and as high as 75 percent have left after five years. Again, there's no way to verify those numbers with scientific certainty, but they can't be that wrong given the reality of how much the Church is atrophying in the U.S.
One out of every eight Americans walking around is a former Catholic and 50 percent of all baptized Catholics in America have left the Faith. There is no way that RCIA is being successful in keeping new Catholics, Catholic, in the face of those known statistics. You can understand why no bishop or the national conference of bishops really want to dig down deep and discover the truth of RCIA success. It would just be further confirmation that their efforts have been and continue to be an epic fail and who wants to deal with that? But that is exactly what needs to be dealt with.
All this blather and cheerleading for "pre-evangelization" like Alpha and a dozen other programs, in the end, accomplishes very little and in some cases is actually hastening the decline because of the long-term, knock-on effect of the failure. Consider if, and this is a big if, if a local parish or diocese has some success in getting people into an RCIA program and then because of the watered down or even anti-Catholic stuff they hear there, eventually leave the Faith, now you have produced a corrupted Catholic — a person who can say, "I went through RCIA, I know what I'm talking about and the Catholicism isn't that different from anything else."
Statistics bear out, in fact, that 50 percent of Catholic who leave the Church go on to no religion and what a sad commentary that the last official exposure the "religion" which they no longer have an interest in was Catholicism. Getting people into a "listening session" or to a "come and see" night at the parish may as well not be done at all if the end result is going to be "come and see and reject."
Church leaders are setting themselves up for a massive failure down the road because they are cooking the books. Each year, every parish and diocese reports and records their numbers of baptisms and conversions to national headquarters and all that information is gathered together in what's called The Kennedy Directory, but it is full of inaccuracies. It records baptisms, but nowhere does it track those who leave the Church, so the number of total Catholics is essentially meaningless.
Right now, the latest numbers show roughly 70 million Catholics in the U.S. But that is nowhere near as reflective of the actual number who embrace and live the Faith. We know, we all know, that number is nowhere near 70 million. It's much closer to around 7 million. We know 35 million have left the Faith. So the number is absolutely inaccurate by at least half. We also know that of the remaining 50 percent, at least half of them do not go to Mass each week, so that's another slash of 25 percent, meaning the real number of total Catholics is no higher than about 17–18 million, not the vastly overstated number of 70 million. Various bishops and dioceses around the country may not have run the actual number on all this, but they know with certainty, this is true. They live in this world everyday. Fewer and fewer Catholics means, among other things, declining revenues. And whatever they may know, they do know that.
So how is this happening? How is it with all the "pre-evangelization" programs, which have enjoyed at least a limited success in getting some people's attention, that all that effort isn't contributing to any kind of turnaround? Allow us to posit that no turnaround is happening because RCIA, Alpha, "Come and See," "Gather us In," "Joyful Bands of Missionary Disciples" — that sounds so gay — and all that marketing hoopla is not faithful to authentic Catholicism. They still concentrate on the subjective experience and emotions and personal-based language that the rest of the world also traffics in. Catholicism has not set itself apart from the world but has rather tried to baptize the attitudes and approaches of the world and it has failed.
Catholicism presents nothing unique under its current presentation. There are a million reasons why, and those are all subjects of many other Vortex episodes, but suffice to say, it's true. Church leaders are embarrassed by the Faith. They have not tried to distinguish it from the world, and when it comes to effectively out-marketing the world with its billions and one distractions from the spiritual life, you ain't gonna' win that battle.
The music is better outside the Church. The preaching is better outside the Church. The "liturgies," such as they are, are better outside the Church. Heck, the message is better outside the Church. Catholic leaders have laid aside Catholicism and are trying to sell a knock-off brand, and no one is buying it. That's why hordes leave even after going through RCIA. RCIA is not effective on the balance because Catholicism is not being taught in those sessions. Friendly, non-offensive, personal feeling Catholicism is being offered and no one cares. They convert and then have buyer's remorse. Exactly how many leave is the dirty little secret. But that they are leaving — in stampedes — is no secret at all.
Unless and until the authentic faith is presented, taught and insisted on, there will be no rescuing of a failing Church, whose leaders appear to be completely tone-deaf or have no desire to do the heavy lifting required to turn this around. We must do our part — those of us who know the truth, the whole truth. We must do our part and do it now. We will answer to Our Blessed Lord for not loving souls enough if we don't get in the game.

In what could only be described as a case of bad timing — really bad timing — the bishop of Buffalo recently featured on 60 Minutes for covering up and lying about homosexual predator priests in his diocese has the very poor luck of just happening to be on the same return flight from Baltimore as the Church Militant crew.
Richard Malone is facing mounting pressure to resign for his reported role in multiple cover-ups.
One of those cases involves Fr. Dennis Riter, who has been the subject of various sex abuse allegations. This past summer, Church Militant interviewed one of his reported victims, Anthony, who was a 6-year-old boy at the time of the assault in the early 90s.
We also interviewed an eyewitness to the event just moments after it happened who saw the male fluid on the boy's face and hair.
So when Malone got off the plane with his bag-woman and recently hired communications director Kathy Spangler, we asked him why this priest was still an active pastor in his diocese. Spangler keeps trying to physically block for the bishop as well as hiding behind pious platitudes.
Malone, in the meantime, had not much to say about the priest but was more than anxious to have the police involved — now — when it suits his purposes.
Anthony's life, which is the bottom line of what we are talking about here, is extremely difficult. He cannot touch his own young children below the waist when he is bathing them because of the psychological pain involved.
But none of this matters — the victims — to many of these shepherds. They'll stand up and say they are sorry and are angry, but did any of the bishops in Baltimore last week go to Malone and privately advise him he should resign?
There is this air of "unity" and collegiality — an old boys' club — that is used by bad bishops to hide behind and cover their criminal and sinful actions. That was made evident last week when head cover-up master himself, Roger Mahony — who should be in jail — stood up to the assembled shepherds and made that very appeal to not let all this stuff break their unity.
Excuse me, Mahony and Malone, but unity is built in truth — not hiding the truth and covering your rear ends.
But news of now two federal lawsuits filed against the Vatican and the USCCB — applying RICO standards — may soon begin to smash that facade of unity which bad bishops use as codeword for cover-up.
Given all that's coming down the pike at him, maybe Malone should retire and get out of the country.
Maybe a few of them should. You never know when a faithful Catholic with a cell phone camera is going to be on the same airplane as you.

In these calamitous times in the Church — and that is exactly what they are, thanks to the machinations of wicked prelates — there is a wide range of reaction among the laity.
Some abandon the mothership and head to schismatic outfits. Some abandon the mothership and head for heretical outfits. Some abandon the mothership by doing nothing, somewhat paralyzed. None of these responses is acceptable. Each is morally rotten, in fact.
The only response is to stay and fight, to stand up and fight for the Church in whatever way you can do it.
No, the laity aren’t bishops with authority. That’s not the way Our Blessed Lord set it up. But in a time when so many successors of the Apostles are wicked or cringing cowards, the laity do need to respond — on both levels of the natural and the supernatural — both, not just one or the other.
First, the supernatural: If you aren't praying and making sacrifices for the restoration, liberty and exaltation of Holy Mother Church, then you aren't really engaged. Period. You need to be praying for these men who are bishops, especially the wicked among them. They have set themselves up as enemies of the teachings of the Church, which means they have set themselves up as enemies of Christ.
In the first order, therefore, their own souls are headed for damnation, and no Catholic could ever want a successor of the Apostles to fall as everlasting prey to the demons. Through their own spiritual negligence they have allowed themselves to be overwhelmed with falsehoods and evil, and despite themselves, we must seek their good. That is the very definition of charity.
The same applies to the weak men among their ranks whose cowardice fuels the evil, because the wicked among them take advantage of it. Pray that the weak, even if they are somehow compromised, cooperate with the grace that is surely being given to them to stand up and oppose their wicked brethren. All of that needs to be happening every day by all of us in the realm of the supernatural.
But in the arena of the natural, we must also be active — and that means not just realizing something is horribly wrong in the Church and bemoaning it with like-minded Catholics, but focusing your mental energy on this and coming up with a 'local' solution. By local, we mean within your orbit: your family, your friends, your circumstances. This can play out a thousand million different ways because each person is different and in different circumstances from everyone else.
Maybe you join the parish council. Maybe you begin a Catholic Bible study. Perhaps you go teach young children the Faith at the parish. Maybe you have it out with the unfaithful priest in your parish who is perverting doctrine. Perhaps you start your own prayer group in your house. Perhaps you adopt a seminarian and help keep him in check spiritually.
Just some random suggestions. The idea is there isn't one solitary Catholic who can't do something in the natural order. Maybe you print up little flyers about some nugget of Catholicism and put them on windshields. Or, having realized the disaster, the calamity that has befallen the Church, you start an internet site and consecrate it to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, under the protection of St. Michael, and offer it to Heaven for the entire purpose of being used to save souls.
Obviously we're talking about our own effort here: Church Militant. Or perhaps you realize the tremendous work that gets accomplished here and pledge to support us financially to help us grow, to expand.
As you know, we are just in the beginning stages of launching our expansion campaign, and this expansion will require an enormous effort on our part as well as a deep commitment from you. It's very clear that the chaos the Church now finds Herself in is not going away anytime soon. It's been 500 years in the making, with much emphasis on the past 150 years, and the last 50 we are seeing all the rotten fruit being born.
What are we trying to do here at Church Militant? To announce the Gospel of Our Blessed Lord that each man must change, must put off the old man and put on the new if he has any supernatural hope of salvation. But as we discovered in our early years, there are actual forces operating from within the Church trying to kill that message by twisting it, and part of the work therefore must be to shine a light on these malicious and malevolent forces, these wicked or cowardly leaders who are involved.
The good news cannot be announced when mixed messaging dilutes it. For example, when the beautiful Catholic teaching that truth is apprehended in the mind is contorted into "truth is arrived at by determining how you feel" — this evil distortion must be confronted. And that's just one; there are hundreds, thousands of examples that could be cited.
And what does Church Militant do exactly? We help educate people about all this. We present the teachings of the Church, and we expose those who would distort them. We stand. We stand and fight.
Forgetting for a moment the 80 percent of Catholics who have already left the Church and the practice of the Faith, and honing in on the remaining 20 percent, the vast majority of this 20 percent simply do not understand all this to any substantive degree. They have fallen for the lies of the wicked men because very few have decided to stand in the breach and declare the truth, consequences be damned.
But the evil doings of the wicked men have begun to come to light, and this is the moment for the faithful to push their cause, to advance. The enemy within the Church has been exposed, and there will never be another moment like this to battle it. Enough people are beginning to arouse, and we, all of us, must make every effort to fully wake them and point to the great spiritual danger.
Do not think for one moment that this battle does not really involve you. It most certainly does. The King of the universe brought you not just into generic existence, but He brought you into this moment of existence, this time and this place. He would not have done so if He did not plan for you to become a warrior in the face of all this.
It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, married, single, parent, grandparent; what matters is that you step up, stand up and fight. This is the Church established by the Son of God, and there is no other. There is no salvation outside this Church, and that truth places an enormous responsibility on everyone of us who knows it.
Church Militant is dedicated to this cause to our very marrow. We want and need your help, everything you can do, to join us and assist us. We need more bodies, more space, and more technology — and in the natural order, all that means more money.
Unlike the social justice, heretic crowd in the Church, we don't get hundreds of millions of dollars a year from the feds. Everything we get comes from you, either through Premium subscriptions or sales or donations. And we are asking you in the strongest possible terms we can, please help us grow even stronger in this fight.
Last month, going on 3 million people around the world came to ChurchMilitant.com. Church Militant is the most commented on Catholic site in the world; no one else is even close. We are the second most commented on religious site of all religious sites in the world, trailing only behind Patheos, which is an amalgam of all kinds of religious as well as cultural viewpoints.
We have been attacked by every liberal, heterodox, unfaithful prelate or clergy you can think of, including the homosexual current in the Vatican itself. We are at war; we don’t like it, but what we like or don't like simply doesn't matter. We had no idea all this was the case when we started 13 years ago. We were content to just have a simple little local Detroit TV show, because we didn't recognize the overwhelming need.
Now we do, and we have responded — and we are asking for you to respond with us.
Apostolates like Church Militant need to be greatly assisted by faithful laity to help lead the charge for the defense of orthodoxy and the restoration of the Church. This filth that has entered the Church, which has been manifested in homosexual clerical sex abuse, is only the tip of the iceberg. It's much deeper than that.
It has penetrated the liturgy, catechesis, evangelization, music, seminaries, formation, education, spirituality — not one corner of the Church escaped. There has to be a counter to this, there have to be organizations dedicated to this fight, people who wake up every morning, who stand and fight. But behind them, there must be people who support their work, spiritually and materially.
Please assist us here as we approach the end of the year — with our eyes on a greatly improved Church Militant.
Additionally, our expansion includes some new hires, faithful individuals who understand the enormous stakes and who want to work with us — and stand and fight. If that’s you, please contact us by clicking on the link.
For everyone else, please donate to our expansion campaign. We need to grow and we need you to make that possible.
Please click on the link and donate.
Pray on the supernatural level. Stand and fight with us on the natural level as well.
What we are witnessing in the Church right now is the near-final ascent of modernism — the heresy that St. Pope Pius X explained as the "synthesis of all heresies."
The saint wrote those words in a 1907 encyclical, and that means that what he termed modernism was already well established in the Church before he picked up his pen.
It's going to take a huge natural effort — as well as supernatural effort — to topple the modernist heresy which has set up shop right in the middle of the Church, and that's what Church Militant is totally dedicated — the restoration of Holy Mother Church — in clearly announcing the divinely appointed work of the salvation of souls.
What toll has modernism taken? The answer to that question is horrifically diabolical. It has brought the Church to the brink of near destruction, and if it were not for the divine promise that the gates of Hell would not triumph, they already would have.
Consider the wide swath of destruction, the path of sorrows that has been cut across the Church.
When St. Pius X talked about "modernism" and all its rampant heresies, even he probably could not foresee just how encompassing the destruction would be, how numerous the heresies that would appear.
All of these heresies have folded into one another to create a whole greater than the sum of the parts because they each feed each other and feed off each other.
The heresy of relativism helps create the homoheresy. The Protestant heresy helps create the heresy of denial of authority. The heresy of sola scriptura gives birth to the heresy of relativism. It's a hydra of heresies, all working in concert with each other, and at the center of it all is a lack of supernatural faith by the only men on Earth with the authority to fight against it: the bishops.
Too many of them are themselves infected with this poison of modernism, so they let the Mass become debased by nearly all sense of the sacred. They have let catechesis devolve into third-grade level arts and crafts that even most children would find off-putting.
They have at the very least allowed, and in some cases promoted, the overwhelming emasculation of the priesthood which has led, over time, to an emasculation of the episcopate.
An episcopate simply ill-equipped to deal with the loss of faith within their own ranks, a cowardice to say anything — except to faithful Catholics — and a willingness to go along with whatever needs to be gone along with so as to not "rock the proverbial boat."
This is no way to run a subpar home business, much less the Church established by the Son of God.
It is clearly, as Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, the time for the laity to remind the bishops to be bishops and the priests to be priests.
So here is the laity reminding you:
Purge the homosexual prelates from your ranks, from your seminaries and your presbyterate. Fire all the chancery personnel you have who do not believe and live the Catholic faith.
Get rid of so-called "teachers" at every level within your control who are ill-equipped intellectually or spiritually to teach the Faith to young minds.
How dare you expose those youth to the poison of modernism, virtually ensuring their eventual desertion of the faith, that you will be held accountable for before the judgment throne of Our Blessed Lord.
But, while these men dither about, the Church is burning down, and this apostolate exists to be a voice to — to step in where they will not and call out the modernist evil and warn you against it so you can protect your soul and the souls of your loved ones.
It's why we are expanding and are asking for your help to do so. What the leaders will not do, the laity need to step up and do.
Please join us in this effort and donate today — right now — to our expansion campaign by just clicking on the link.
Thank you in advance for whatever you are able to give. We know that a huge number of bishops do not like us. A few probably despise us — fine. Do your job and we will happily go away.
Church Militant was never envisioned as a bastion of fighting the evil within the Church. Thirteen years ago when we began, we didn't even know that evil existed — at least not to this degree.
Our very first program — our flagship show, The One True Faith, was aimed squarely at Catholics who had been poorly catechized so it focused on the simple basic truths of the Faith — all 118 episodes.
But we have seen and heard much since those first days, and what we have come to know and see, cannot now be unknown and unseen.
Too many leaders in the Church are active homosexuals or are compromised by early dalliances or are too sympathetic to it because their bishop buddies they were in seminary with are, or they are, cowards afraid to speak the truth.
Well here's a headline for you, Your Excellencies: The Church is not your personal property. It belongs to Jesus Christ, and whether you like it or not, we are not going away. You need to live up to your high calling and your high office, an office that we respect more than you do.
You need to see and understand this simple truth: It is your malfeasance and malevolence, your negligence in caring for the sheep, that created Church Militant.
You may view us as Frankenstein's Monster, but you are the Dr. Frankensteins that stitched us together with your embrace of sacrilege and homosexuality and socialist globalism and denial of the Real Presence and silence in the face of intrinsic evils and debasing of the liturgy and false ecumenism and embrace of every heresy under the sun.
We are the product of your lack of faith, and those of us who are faithful and love the Church will not Her go down.
See, we believe, actually believe, what the Church teaches — all of it, every last jot and tittle. You should try it — trust us, you'll like it.
You have instead embraced the homosexual subversion in your midst and now are facing federal investigations, multiple state attorneys general investigations and a falling away from the Faith like never seen the days of the Protestant Revolt.
The faithful, however few are left after you lay down your flame-throwers, will still be here, dedicated to the truth of the Church and advancing Her mission. We hope those of you guilty of these spiritual crimes repent, do public penance and, where necessary, resign.
For the rest of you bishops, how about a donation to our work here at Church Militant. You give money to all sorts of things which drive people away from the Faith. How about giving money to an effort that actually draws people to the Faith — just saying.
Please donate to our expansion campaign today, and help us in our efforts to smash modernism.

We are appealing directly to you for your financial help to aid in our expansion so faithful Catholics will be prepared for what's coming. Please donate by clicking on the button.
And here's what's coming.
Pre-2020 election data is now trickling out, and faithful Catholics, as well as other people concerned with a moral society, should be extremely concerned by this. By the time we are all voting in two more years, 10 million Americans will have died. Most of those 10 million will be older people.
According to all the data that has been amassed, two facts have emerged. Older Americans vote in greater percentages than younger people. And older voters in 2016 voted in greater numbers for Trump compared to younger voters.
So if you do a little political calculus and wizardry, here is what shakes out: A large number — millions of people — who voted for Trump will have died — my own father, my dear dad, being one of them.
Seeing as how Trump lost the popular vote by roughly three million, subtracting a few million from his total would have devastating consequences for his re-election. Of course, given the electoral college, the question of where those fewer votes will not materialize is very important.
But remember, in breaking through the so-called "Blue Wall," Trump succeeded by very narrow margins: just 11,000 here in Michigan, a few thousand more in Wisconsin and just 60,000 in Pennsylvania.
Given that millions of voters who voted for him will have since died, those slimmest of margins should be concerning.
Now isn't the time to go into all the political strategizing and virtual scenarios — two years is a few lifetimes in politics. But it is an opportunity to reflect on the changing landscape of American culture, of which politics is downstream.
America is moving leftward. Down on the street, where people live, the country is moving away from objective morality. The fact that Trump won in 2016 and the GOP increased its lead in the Senate this year by a couple seats does not discount that reality.
Where people live their lives — day in and day out — the United States is becoming less and less a moral nation. This will eventually flow into the political river as it always does, and that is what this Vortex is about.
We only mention 2020 to say this may all come to fruition much sooner than many realize. The question for faithful Catholics is this: when the Left does eventually regain political power, will you be ready?
The Left already controls the levers of power in every other institution of the culture — politics will be the next to fall. Are you ready? Because you need to be. Demonization and persecution always begins on a cultural level. But soon after something becomes culturally acceptable, it begins to move into legally acceptable.
Consider for a moment that the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center ripped Church Militant in an article for being so-called "anti-LGBT."
The SPLC is one of the bastions of the Left, and many on the Left — including politicians — take their cues from that evil group.
Does anyone out there think there's no possibility that when the Left regains power, that the SPLC won't be a point of contact, a "think tank" proposing new policies — policies that say any group which decries abortion or sodomy should be fined for being a "hate group" or have tax-exempt status removed or denied access to the internet or be officially designated as a danger to society?
Let's face it, the Left grew complacent and Trump slipped in the back door. It was the perfect storm for them and a moment of grace for faithful Catholics, a respite from the promises of a crazed candidate screaming that religious teachings would have to change.
For example, when Hillary said these words in 2015, many people woke up: "Deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed."
The question instantly arose: how? How will they be changed? Coming out of the mouth of someone running for president, those are very troublesome words. But faithful Catholics should not delude themselves. As we said earlier, many who know exactly what she meant by that are no longer with us — in their place, a younger group who know little about morality, understand less about its relation to politics and base their own understanding of both on how they feel.
Not everyone who voted Hitler into power were bloodthirsty Jew haters — many were just ignorant or indifferent. Hitler promised bread and circuses, the state that would satisfy every need and desire, and many voted for him.
There's no difference today between the Left and 1930s German National Socialists, nor the 1920s Bolshevik Socialists. And that is precisely why the faithful should be concerned. The Left is the Left in whatever country and whatever decade, and the common denominator is the eradication of God and the replacement by the state.
When that time arrives here in the United States — and it is coming — will you be ready? Will you have sufficiently instructed your children in the Faith? Your grandchildren? Your friends?
This is the purpose of Church Militant, to help you in the spiritual battle every day, and when that battle spills over into the streets, you will have built up the strength to respond and thrive.
Satan has been extremely successful at diminishing the Church from within. He has whittled down the number of actual faithful Catholics to a small percentage. And the relatively few who remain will become the target of an increasing chorus of politicians and educators and entertainers and cultural elites.
Vigilance — vigilance and perseverance are needed. The lack of those is how we are where we are as a culture and a church to begin with.
Given the chaos in the Church, given the growing storm in the culture, Church Militant needs your support more than ever before.

Yes, you knew this Vortex was coming — the disgraceful presence of Cdl. Timothy Dolan at the Met Gala where Catholicism was the inspiration for this year's usual, boring, yet another "star-studded" event with all the glitterati. And by glitterati, we mean more than half-naked women, which is par for the course — #MeToo, anyone? — strutting about and a collection of temptresses par excellence. Only this year, they were adorned in various Catholic-themed outfits, of course with the overseeing of Cdl. Timothy Dolan who continues to raise Our Lord's warning about casting your pearls before swine to a whole new level.
Here is what he had to say, in part, in a tweet: "What's the Church doing here? What is the cardinal-archbishop of New York doing here?" Short answer — selling out the Church. He continued, "Well, because the Church and 'the Catholic imagination,' are all about truth, goodness and beauty." None of which were on display at what's billed as fashion's biggest night.
The event was officially called "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," the biggest exhibit the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum has ever held. It was the product of years of arduous, behind the scenes negotiating with the Vatican's Abp. Georg Ganswein, Pope Benedict's former aide and Cdl. Gianfranco Ravasi, president of the Vatican Pontifical Council for Culture, who met repeatedly with Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue Magazine.
Talk about desperate to appear relevant. And by the way, what happened with all those liberal cardinals' concern for the poor? The most noteworthy of the secular culture come knocking and the doors of the Vatican are thrown open to them and some of the most treasured vestments are made available. Gee, seems like you could have sold those and given the money to the poor. Isn't that what that lot is always babbling on about?
And of course, since it was in New York, Dolan had to be front and center with his cheap theatrics to sell off the Faith once again to the highest bidder, in exchange for a couple photo ops with today's celebrities. Present at the event, one of the main backers who, of course, got the shout out from Dolan in his tweet, was Steve Schwarzman, a multi-billionaire who Dolan turns to get money for his floundering archdiocese. And of course, the ever-present cloud of sodomy was on full display. In a way, considering that so many gay men are actually in vestments for real, maybe the gay stuff all over the place was fitting. And yes, Fr. James Martin was there as well. How could he, of all people, miss out on.
For the sake of His Eminence's soul, we'd like to remind him, Your Eminence, you have seven years left before your time is up. In seven years, you will be forgotten, replaced by whoever comes after you. And your legacy will have been to have debased the Faith for the sake of appearing "with it." Enjoy the little time you have left. You will be called to account, as we all will be.
Catholics all over the globe are outraged that the signs and symbols of our salvation were used as meaningless jewelry on women dressed little better than whores. The Catholic internet lit up, ablaze once these images started appearing in the secular press. But in their usual tone-deaf response, the hierarchical glitterati completely ignored the sell-out they orchestrated and the feelings and further damage done to the faithful.
Nothing on earth could convince faithful Catholics that these men have any supernatural faith. To these men, the Church is little else than a business that needs marketing and when the rich and famous come calling with a great opportunity, why not throw your support behind a little glitzy night out, even with an ample supply of leg and cleavage on full display, popping out from behind knock-off of sacred vestments?
Even Bill Donohue's Catholic League officially refused to comment because, after all, Dolan was there and Donahue would never admit that His Eminence is ever capable of doing anything wrong — ever — even when it involves introducing active homosexuals into the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Nope, nothing to see here folks, move along.
It's funny that Dolan should excuse this sacrilegious-looking event by pandering to the worldly and excuse-baiting that this was all about truth and goodness and beauty. Please, just come clean and say the truth Cdl. Dolan while you are going on about it. You love the limelight and, more importantly, pleasing man more than God, while abusing your position as leader of the archdiocese.
Bishop Sheen, whose body Dolan refuses to release and has gone to court to keep, is instructive here. Years ago, he said that when the Church threw out Her goods, the world picked them up. Although they didn't do anywhere near as well with them as the Church did. We got rid of incense, and incense shops opened all over the place. We got rid of candles and, presto, a whole industry of candles begins blossoming. Well, here, Churchmen dumped truth and beauty and goodness, and the world, true to form, picked them up and cheapened them.
My father used to say over and over again he couldn't understand how these aging prelates could continue to harm the Faith. Have they no fear of God or Hell, he would say a lot? Seven years, Your Eminence, seven years.

If you didn't catch the NBC News online piece following up on the bishops' conference, well, you didn't miss anything. The reporter interviewed me at length — for close to 30 minutes — and at the end of the day, it was like I hadn't really been interviewed, at least not honestly.
The same was true, just not as blatantly, in an interview of Church Militant conducted by The Washington Post. Now, whenever we grant an interview to any secular organization, we know what will happen.
They will look for any quote and so forth that will help highlight their predetermined outcome for the story. There was a time when "news" outlets actually went in search of facts as opposed to arriving on your doorstep with a list of pretend facts and then jam your comments into their already-written story.
For example, we here at the apostolate have yet to see a story anywhere in the secular media — and there have been dozens — where at least one of the following adjectives does not precede our name in the story: alt-right, right-wing, far-right, extremist or ultra-conservative.
As in: "the alt-right website Church Militant" — or, "the far-right extremist website Church Militant," a bastion of alt-right, right-wingism. OK, that last one is a bit contrived, but you get the idea.
Whenever we get asked by secular media about the moniker "alt-right," for example, we always disagree and add that no one ever says what that term actually means. The reporter gives off a little chuckle, hangs up, writes his story and, you guessed it, labels us "alt-right."
Truth be told, we don't really care what they think of us, much less what they call us. We bring it up to demonstrate the ideological extremism — see, we can play the same game, except we're actually correct — the ideological extremism the pretend news media are engaged in.
Normally, none of this would be a matter even worth wasting time on, but at this junction, it is. See, the secular media narrative about Church Militant sounds suspiciously similar to the heretical Catholic chatter about Church Militant.
Both encampments, the secular media and what we could call the Martin/Rosica/NCR camp, both spill gallons of ink damning Church Militant for being supposedly anti-gay and alt-right.
A quick check on any of Fr. James Martin's social media pages will reveal a non-stop diatribe of accusations against us as being alt-right and anti-gay or homophobic. Unsurprisingly, Martin is the secular media "go-to" guy in the Church whenever they need an interview with a "collar" aligning with their worldview.
In the inside language of the news industry, Martin is what reporters call a "media whore" — the reliable guy who would always give you the sound bite you needed.
See, reporters are notoriously lazy. They read each others' stories and then just rearrange a few of the paragraphs, change a couple of words here or there and produce a so-called "story" that is little else than something they wrote in large part before ever speaking to anyone they quote.
It's supposed to be the other way around, but that would require effort as well as a willingness to face the fact that their worldview — evident in their writing — might very well be wrong, and we all know that ain't going to happen.
The James Martins and the Thomas Rosicas of the world all feed at the same ideological trough as the secular media — because, well, those clerics are more secular than they are religious. They are constantly promoting secular ideas to the detriment of Catholic ones and lashing out and labeling Catholics who actually defend the Church.
In fact, the secular media consider these so-called media whores actual media darlings. They get their storylines from then, some of their vocabulary from them, wouldn't be surprised if they actually passed their stories to them for final editing and approval.
They certainly discuss them at length prior to writing. Why wouldn't they let them review them after being written? The Catholic Left, which isn't really Catholic at all, and the secular Left are really all the same thing, which is why they must collectively be challenged — their stories, their ideologies, their methods, all of it.
Case in point, I asked the NBC reporter why Martin shouldn't be questioned about his distortion of Catholic doctrine. I didn't ask the reporter if he agreed with Catholic doctrine personally, only if Martin should be questioned about his lack of integrity in claiming to be a representative of the Church on the one hand while undermining the same Church on the other.
I said point blank, it comes down to a matter of honesty and integrity. I've actually made that very point to a few reporters, and they each acknowledge the point, and yet every article that gets printed presents Martin as a credible source on all things Catholic without ever labeling him with the adjectives left-wing, alt-left, extremist, far-left or ultra-liberal.
That's simply dishonest, but also par for the course. Lazy liberal reporters with an agenda is never a good combination. It's why we here at Church Militant understand that the only way to combat this war of misinformation is to challenge everything that can be possibly challenged.
The Left understands, like all their rotten predecessors, that controlling the media is how you control the narrative. They used to act all above the fray and independent and objective, although they never were. But it was a good image. Remember Walter Cronkite, the most trusted man in America, as he was called? He was one of the biggest liberals you could find.
Church Militant is uniquely placed to fight against all this garbage in both the secular and ecclesiastical Left.
We "get" how this whole game works, and we think we play it pretty well. It's why we are launching an unprecedented Expansion Campaign, to position ourselves to expose the rot so dominant in the Church and supported by cultural elitists.
Ask yourself for example why so little secular coverage has happened in the case of Pope Francis and his involvement in the McCarrick case as well as multiple charges back in his native Argentina with regard to his covering up sexual predators in his clergy.
Rightly or wrongly, the secular media see Francis as an ally in their ideological battle and don't want to damage the brand any more than they might have to.
While James Martin is exhausting himself labeling us as homophobes and haters — no such thing as homophobia, by the way — why has he not said that Pope Francis is a homophobe for calling gay marriage demonic?
Church Militant needs your help to expose all this hypocrisy and underlying anti-Catholic agenda even more. This war is only going to get more intense, and it needs dedicated faithful Catholics willing to engage it full-time.
That means more work, more bodies, more space to put the bodies, more updates to the never-ending changes in the communications technology.
The Left — inside the Church as well as outside the Church — have been able to transform their respective arenas because they have controlled the narrative by controlling their media. This hegemony must be challenged and smashed. And that means by us, all of us, faithful Catholics who will no longer be complicit in any of it.
The time for sitting on the sidelines is over. If you care for the Church, if you love souls who are so threatened by all of this, we urge you in the strongest possible terms to step up and get involved.
Church Militant is looking at an all-out offensive against all of this by taking what we have done so well so far and radically improving every facet of what we do. None of this is rocket science — to once again use an overused phrase. It requires exactly what the luciferian media has put in — great effort, great resources and great work ethic.
Say what you want about their final product, but the luciferian media in the Church as well as outside the Church are relentless. They never stop, day in and day out, pounding the errant messages into people's heads. And we need to put forth at least that much effort.
Church Militant needs more bodies doing more work in more space with more technology, and we are imploring you to help us reach this goal. We are going to be talking all week about this effort — this Church Militant 2.0 endeavor — because it is sorely needed.
The secular ideology in the Church must be exposed, which means confronting the clergy who promote it, because, when all is said and done, it costs souls not to confront it.
This is why Church Militant is so down in the trenches and is planning for even more intense battles moving forward, because we know that Hell never rests in its fight for souls — and neither can we.
Please consider however you might be able to donate to help this effort. It will be a huge sum of money because we are planning for the long-term and the long haul — a new building, a new mobile app and a whole new plan for moving forward.
Please click on the button and donate whatever you can today or pledge a monthly donation, a pledge to support this important and vital work — work you have supported and helped bring to this point.
The time is now — the time to bring the battle for truth.
Please donate today to our Expansion Campaign and join us in the fight for information — truthful information.

There are many reasons for the "Great Contraction" of the Church, but most of them revolve around a collapse in the intellectual life of the Church.
The Church of Nice has been masterful at replacing the appeal to the intellect with an appeal to emotion, and it's evident everywhere, from the sappy music at Mass to the ridiculous Scripture studies where you are asked how a particular passage makes you feel to horrible catechesis built around your feelings as opposed to your brain.
The Catholic intellectual tradition has been almost completely abandoned by various leaders who have reduced objective truth to subjective feelings, as if there are multiple answers to yes and no questions.
Is adultery a sin? Well, it depends on how you feel. Should you receive Holy Communion in a state of mortal sin? What does your feelings-based conscience tell you is best?
For leaders to tell Catholics to follow their conscience and not tell them anything else is satanic.
And it happens — all the time. From James Martin to Bryan Massingale to Blase Cupich to Thomas Rosica to Joseph Tobin, these men with collars or miters go on non-stop about the primacy of conscience but say nothing about your duty to properly inform your conscience through the use of reason — your brain, your noodle, your intellect.
They understand the primacy of the intellect well enough. That's why they consciously skirt around it by making appeals to people's feelings as though feelings are the final arbiter of truth. They diminish and insult every father and doctor of the Church with their deliberate dumbing down of the Church's rich intellectual history.
Right or wrong is not arrived at by how you feel. Right and wrong are objective realities that a person must, through his intellect, conform himself to, or he dies and goes to Hell.
Our Blessed Lord said: know the truth and it will set you free. The Lord God said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge."
These men, and many others like them, are perfectly content to let you be damned as they distort and fool you. They are lying to you — by omission and commission. The same is true in various seminary classes around the country.
Seminarians are conditioned through various subtle techniques to eschew the actual teachings and concentrate more on how people feel about them and should live their lives accordingly.
So sin, the objective reality of sin and its eternal consequences, are downplayed or ignored altogether, and the primacy of a badly formed conscience becomes the standard by which truth is arrived at. Getting to Heaven is hard work — impossible for us as individuals on our own without grace — and grace normally requires a commitment, a desire, a love of the truth — "good will" is what the angels called it in the skies over Bethlehem.
Almighty God commands that a soul love Him with all its mind, heart and strength — notice: mind? God is attainable by conforming to objective truth, the truth He Himself both is and established.
Pursuit of the truth is the way to the truth, which is why Our Blessed Lord said of Himself that He is the way and the truth. While each man can understandably struggle with divine precepts — trying to comprehend them, live them, etc. — that does not give man permission to ignore them and live as a child moving on nothing but feelings.
Saint Thomas Aquinas was very aware of all this and pursued a route of presenting the Faith in unambiguous terms in a step-by-step process which is laid out in his Summa, although that is not the only writing of his.
The pursuit of truth and arrival at truth, at least on fundamental levels, is available to all men, even the unbaptized, as proven by the Greeks in the time before the Incarnation. The Greeks had figured out the truth of man having a soul, it being immortal and the reality of divinity.
Theirs might be described as pursuing the path of natural law, intellectually assessing the nature of a thing and building on those natural-revealed truths.
This is the same path that Thomas followed to further deepen our knowledge of the Divine — the source of all natural law.
A major proponent of natural law was Dr. Charles Rice, a mentor of both myself and our apostolate, who recorded two seasons of a program produced by us called Right Reason.
Charlie died in February of 2015 and is now bathed in the light of the truth he so splendidly dedicated his entire life to — professional as well personal. Charlie was a professor at Notre Dame Law School for years and slavishly taught his law students to pursue the truth of things with their minds — he was brilliant, which is why both he and we wanted to tap into his brilliance and produce Right Reason, to make natural law and St. Thomas Aquinas extremely approachable and easy to get.
The crisis that the Church finds Herself in now is precisely owing to a failure to reason rightly, a fact underscored time and again by Charlie and why he wanted to host this show.
We are bringing this up now to let you know that we have collected all 26 30-minute episodes of Right Reason into one big set and are making this available to you this Christmas season as gifts for your loved ones — but also yourself.
We, as a Church, need to get back to the use of our intellects, to admitting there is such a thing as objective truth and we, therefore, have a need to live by it. Charlie breaks down into very easy chunks the concepts of natural law, St. Thomas' writings and how we need to correspond our lives accordingly.
In a very pleasant manner, he completely destroys the idiocy of relative truth which has so engulfed the Church this past half-century. And it is this relativism which has invaded seminaries and religious education programs and chanceries and parishes and pulpits all over the Catholic world and set itself up as the final arbiter of truth.
It's what Pope Benedict famously referred to as the "tyranny" or "dictatorship of relativism," and this must be fought with every ounce of Catholic strength we can muster.
Relativism makes people prisoner to their sins, giving them an excuse to never tear free from the web of destruction and misery. Tearing away can be a painful process, but it is necessary to rip away from relativism and wrong thinking in order to achieve eternal salvation.
That's why Charlie loved doing this show, and it's why we wanted to produce it.
So as the Christmas shopping season gets underway, give people one of the greatest gifts they could get: the stimulation of their intellects to produce right reason leading to their salvation.
To place your order now for the entire set, just click on the provided link clearly visible here on the page. Again, 26 episodes, each one an easily digestible 30 minutes in length. If you know a seminarian, it's a perfect gift.
If you have children or grandchildren who are so ordered to truth, again, it's the perfect thing to get for them and to watch with them. The mark of a really brilliant mind is to not only grasp difficult concepts but then break them down for those who do not grasp them so readily.
That's exactly what Dr. Charlie Rice does in the St. Michael's Media production Right Reason and why we so highly recommend it to you.
What the Church needs now is some right reason.
