This past weekend, the 117th Congress was sworn in, and a question immediately comes to mind: Exactly who are the incoming Democrats "swearing" to? They don't believe in God or a god — at least as God is commonly understood.

So when they are "taking an oath," to whom are they taking it? It's an important question. If you listen to the opening prayer of the session, offered by Democratic congressman Rev. Emmanuel Cleaver, you can see exactly what we're talking about.

It was such a mishmash of literally God-knows-what, it's hard to even pull apart. The reference to the monotheistic God and then tossing in Brahma (who, in the Hindu religion, is the highest of various gods) is so philosophically off base — much less theologically — that it kind of staggers the mind.

But then the coup de grâce: To finish off with a flourish of "Amen and a woman" makes even less sense, if that's even possible. "Amen" is not a reference to biological males — it's a Latin/Greek/Hebrew term meaning, essentially, "so be it."

At the root of the Democrats' view of humanity is a profound lack of belief in God.

However, to perhaps better understand this in context, it comes following recommended changes to House rules by a committee run by Democrats that all  "gender identities" should be affirmed and honored, and all words that point to sex or gender — words like "mother," "father," "he" and "she" — be dumped in favor of words that don't express any sex.

In short, anything that even smacks of objective truth has to be denied or skirted around. The difference in the sexes, male and female, comes from God. So to try and skirt around it is an attempt to skirt around, not just the divine order, but human dignity. The rights of man — found in his very nature — derive from God, not government. Government's role is to protect them, not grant them.

But Democrats don't believe that — not even close. They mouth it because they don't want to reveal the extremity of their beliefs, but they don't believe it. They try to smuggle in their beliefs and hope that over time their weirdo beliefs get normalized, that people just get accustomed to them.

Having Cleaver get up and say "a-woman" is such a move. At the root of the Democrats' view of humanity is a profound lack of belief in God. All the rights of man that fall from that belief are completely up for grabs. That includes the right to defend your life.

The Founding Fathers understood that in, the last measure, whoever has the guns, rules the country. So they equipped citizens with the constitutionally protected right to bear arms. Why? So they could protect their lives from tyranny. That's the reason the Democrats (and all Marxists/socialists) go after the Second Amendment with the passion they do.

It's not to protect life. It's to have the ability to end life at their whim. If they cared so much about gun violence, they would have done something long ago about black-on-black crime in inner cities (a large portion of it is gun violence). The motivation behind trying to cancel the Second Amendment is the same motivation behind trying to cancel human dignity in general — a hatred of God and authentic religion.

It used to be the case that you had to listen to their ramblings somewhat closely to glean all this. Well, not really anymore. The year 2020 has been the year of revelations, all over the place; it's been the year of perfect (20/20) vision.

It also kicked off the choosing up of sides — patriotism or communism. Authentic religion and faith or phony faith. All the pieces are in place for a great, big, enormous, world-altering showdown.

The forces of the so-called "Great Reset" have gathered, conspired and laid out their plan. It began with an election steal, but that was only a means to an end. The other side, the good guys, have been slow to realize the enormity of the threat, slow to even believe it. That side is infested with traitors, cowards and dolts.

Even those on the right side, those who aren't obviously part of the swamp, are poorly organized and don't have any of the built-in advantages that the evil guys have. Mostly, they don't have the media. The Marxist media have the microphone and bullhorn and get to announce whatever they want, truth or lies (mostly lies).

So the good guys have got to wake up, realize the stakes, which, at this point, are everything. There has been a slow erosion of proper comprehension of philosophy and theology on the part of the good guys.

There has been a slow erosion of proper comprehension of philosophy and theology on the part of the good guys.

A "you do your own thing" approach and a "believe what you want" mantra have set the table for the Marxist takeover they are attempting to engineer at this moment. It has impacted both Church and State, and not in a good way. Life collides at the intersection of religion and politics, and the bad guys have understood that for decades.

They've constructed their entire battle plan around it. Meanwhile, the good guys have been playing video games, thinking truth just walks around unencumbered and not attacked. That's not even close to true.

In fact, it's just the opposite. It's precisely why Our Blessed Lord was crucified. The bad guys hate God, and they hate you having guns for the exact same reason. It's all about destroying your human dignity, a dignity conferred on you by God, simply by virtue of His creating you.

Until that is realized and enforced, until the Marxists are actually confronted (and that may mean physically in some places — yes, it's quickly reaching that point), until the meaning of authentic freedom is reasserted, this madness is going to continue. God made man in His own image. Period. From that, everything else on earth finds its grounding.

Can the Church say "Amen"? And for clarity, that's A-men.

Happy Feast Day of Mary, Mother of God. And as we move into this no-so-shiny new year, Her children are going to be depending on Her more than ever.

What the commies have done in America is what they've managed to do everywhere their presence has fouled the planet. They've created a war between the classes, but in this case, it's getting really bad.

What we see unfolding before us is a system where the elites oppress the peasants — and yes, this includes the hierarchy over the faithful.

The cultural elites are — in no particular order — the media, government, Hollywood, Silicon Valley and corporate America. Expand that traditional pool and toss in the U.S. hierarchy because, well, birds of a feather.

The cultural elites are — in no particular order — the media, government, Hollywood, Silicon Valley and corporate America.

What the elites all have in common is one simple principle: They are better than the peasants. Therefore, everything they pronounce is automatically correct and people must obey.

Let's take that principle and apply it across the board and see just how true it is:

    • The media: Whatever they tell you is true, and if your dare challenge the narrative — you smelly, unwashed peasant — you are an ignorant, gun-loving, homophobe, racist, white supremacist.
    • The government: They pass the laws, jack up your taxes, ignore the pleas of the little man and pay for all of it with your money, you stinking peasant.
    • Hollywood: The entertainment industry is populated with perverts, child sex traffickers and rapists. Then they take their private lives and put them on giant screens and demand you accept it all as normal, you ignorant, puritanical peasant.
    • Silicon Valley: Giant Tech is about free speech unless you speak the truth. They are the ones who fact-check you and decide "truth," you dangerous revolutionary peasant.
    • Corporate America: If you want to do business with us, in any form, you will accept our embrace of gay sex, the employees will not object, and you will take the diversity training classes and you'll like it, you defiant peasant.
    • So, carrying the principle into the hierarchy ... You will pay us with your donations. But we will close your parishes; deny you authentic teaching; give you gay clergy and liturgical abuses; order you to wear masks, receive in the hand, make a reservation for Mass and stand miles away from each other. And you'll do it, you disobedient peasant.

What ties them all together is the double standard they all wield in their own favor but to clamp down on and crush you.

Whether it's the phony face mask mandate, eating out at restaurants, promotion of child sex trafficking, canceling out your vote by election fraud, of refusing you access to the sacraments, the elites clearly understand that you are on earth to serve them, not the other way around.

It's class warfare, and what most of the peasants don't understand is this: The "comforts" of life they've enjoyed up to now have been little else than a narcotic — something to deaden the intellects and excite the passions — so you don't pay attention to them installing themselves as monarchs.

Once they have locked down that power — which they are pretty darn close to securing — you can expect the disappearance of the so-called middle class. This happened in the Soviet Union as well as China, Venezuela, Cuba and everywhere else on the planet. The middle class is a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of man and, well, we can't have that now, can we?

Likewise, in the Church, how dare you ask for financial transparency. It's frankly none of your business how much of your money we use for attorneys, erratic catechesis or gay sleepovers at the seminary.

We are the only ones — the hierarchy — who get to speak of "clericalism" — because we know that we don't really mean what we are saying, so don't get any ideas about becoming uppity laity — using our own empty platitudes against us.

Another striking parallel between the episcopal elites and the cultural elites is the constant appeal to superiority of being "college-educated." In politics, you hear it all the time: "Oh, the college-educated would never vote that way — only those dumb hicks, the commoners, the working class deprived of a college education would vote that way."

You get this exact same attitude in the Church if you've ever run into the lesbian in charge at the chancery. Oh, you'll have to confer with Sister Perpetua Bull Dyke. She has a Ph.D. in liturgy and she says adoration is forbidden. Her office is just down the hall, and she's the one with the man's haircut — and build.

Remember, the elites are the ones who want to defund the police for you but hire private security for themselves with your money. The episcopal elites are the same ones who want your weekly money for the parish, but not actually not you in the pews.

There are no conditions in place for the rise of a Catholic 'Trump.'

Unchallenged, this will result in full-on communism within a generation, as the next generation will be "educated" to believe this is just how things are. In fact, that has already begun.

On the political side, Trump was or is the antidote to all this, which is why the landslide election in his favor had to be stolen. But in the Church, no champion has emerged, nor is there likely to be one any time soon — at least not in the natural order.

There are no conditions in place for the rise of a Catholic "Trump." The Church doesn't work like that. It's neither a democracy nor a republic. It's a hierarchy. And once the hierarchy has become corrupt as hell, as this one has, there is little option but to hunker down and live out the faith in small communities.

That doesn't mean that the evil should not be challenged, exposed and the wicked perverts not exposed to the broad light of day, but it does mean the motive cannot be an overthrow of institution.

In America, the government belongs to the people, and they can revolt against it and overthrow when they see fit. But Catholics can't do that in the Church because we know that the Church doesn't belong to the hierarchy. They have proven themselves to be little else than spiritually murderous hirelings, and God will be their judge, jury and executioner — for eternity.

So faithful Catholics who are also American patriots are going to have to live out this kind of schizophrenic reality — fighting the enemies of Christ outside of the Church one way, while battling the enemies of Christ inside the Church in another. But both need fighting.

After all, fighting and rebelling against injustice is what peasants do. And remember, we didn't ask for this class warfare; it was brought to us by the elites in the Church as well as outside the Church.

    • Year of the Devil

      TRANSCRIPT

Church Militant (a 501(c)4 corporation) is responsible for the content of this commentary.

As 2020 mercifully comes to an end today, we should call it what it was — "the year of the Devil."

It's too emotionally draining to review all the evil that was exposed this past year, but suffice to say, think back just one year ago to New Year's Eve of 2019, and just ask yourself, "Could anyone have imagined that all this would happen?"

This was the year that communism went mainstream, and remember what communism is. It's a political system that hides behind concern for the downtrodden, but at its heart, hates humanity and its creator. How so many people could be fooled into accepting this system is still something of a mystery with many possible answers, all of which are probably correct to varying degrees.

If it weren't for the fact that this is now the new reality, we would be grateful to write off 2020, and happily flip the calendar. But seeing as how this is ultimately a spiritual war, faithful Catholics don't get to do that. In fact, we need to become more aggressive, particularly in the face of religious leaders — especially the bishops — who have simply caved to all this.

The Catholic Church, across the board, is in need of massive restoration.

This was part of a Newsmax discussion we had Christmas weekend with Michelle Malkin — a faithful Catholic in her own right — who gets it. The Catholic Church, across the board, is in need of massive restoration. It's like some giant bombed-out cathedral — still elegant in its structure but devastated in people's eyes.

The U.S. hierarchy (as a body) remained silent or even agitated against the most pro-life, religion-friendly president in the history of America. They do not believe in the Devil. Many of them clearly either do not believe the actual Faith or have some horribly malformed understanding of it.

They, more than anyone, given their exalted offices, helped make this the year of the Devil. As we close the chapter on this year and turn our sights to 2021, Church Militant will be going after this evil in the Church. And no, we aren't talking about a flood of non-stop stories on Pope Francis generated for clickbait.

After all, for all the bellyaching and useless online petitions used to beef up email lists and not accomplish anything real or substantive, Pope Francis is a product of the wayward Church. What will all the sites who never stop talking about him do when he's gone? Well, of course, they'll move on to the next pope who will likely be of the same ilk because almost all these men emerge from the same ecclesiastical swamp.

So more stories, more clickbait, more online petitions, and nothing will change because they won't do the hard work of attacking the root of the problem — the local churches. Of course, that's not as sexy or attention-grabbing. The pope is so much more of a high profile case. We're talking about going after the problem where the faithful live, the local dioceses and the local bishops who allow and even promote this filth.

They are the ones who "run the show" in your abuse-ridden parish, not the pope. They did it when John Paul was pope, and they'll do it after Francis is gone. It's taken a century for the Church to deteriorate to this level, and it won't get addressed in any less time. But the hard work, the real work, has got to start somewhere. Years ago, Church Militant was being attacked from all over the place for our work in exposing the corruption.

We get the current crisis, more than any other outfit in the Church.

Then McCarrick happened, and all of work was vindicated. That's not to toot our own horn, but to point out that we get the current crisis, locally, more than any other outfit in the Church. That's why we're making one last end-of-the-year appeal to you to help us go gangbusters into 2021 by making a donation to bolster our work here.

What we do is the work of the Church, the roll-up-your-sleeves, get-tough hard work of exposing the corruption while also promoting the authentic Faith.

We want you not only to help us financially but to take an active role in the restoration moving forward. In truth, many of you have, but as we, as faithful Catholics, look around the world, we must deal with the sad reality that things have gotten this bad because Catholics have not stepped up.

As is attributed to Pope St. Pius V, "All the evil in the world is owing to lukewarm Catholics." So please, donate whatever you are able to today. Thank you in advance. And make a commitment now to join Church Militant and be part of the solution this coming year.

    • President Harris

      TRANSCRIPT

Church Militant (a 501(c)4 corporation) is responsible for the content of this commentary.

As the year winds down and a potential Biden administration comes more into focus, what's also becoming more clear is the "super plan" of the Marxists — to smuggle in their anti-God agenda under the guise of good ol' Joe.

The Left knew from the primaries that, of all the radicals standing on the debate stages, perhaps none was more disliked for her leftist ideology than Kamala Harris.

The San Francisco communist made her way into politics by sleeping her way into various promotions and was being saved as one potential person to push the country further to the left. As 2020 unfolded with the collision of the China virus and the elections, it became clear to the shadowy figures who operate the Democratic Party that beating Donald Trump would not be possible without two things in place.

Please join us in being the first generation of good men to begin the restoration.

First, they needed a candidate no one could really object to. So they picked Joe and then made sure the media kept him protected and portrayed as a kind of sweet, old grandfather. And second, they needed an organized cheat that would deprive President Trump of an official reelection.

But the goal that both of these were implemented for was to deprive people of faith and patriots of their way of life, substituting them with fear and panic. We have seen the convergence of both of these, the parallel between them as 2020 wore on, resulting in a fraudulent overthrow of a duly elected president and a corona crackdown against religion.

This past weekend, Church Militant was invited on Newsmax with Michelle Malkin to expand on all this and to talk about how life will be very different moving forward. Everything we're talking about has very little to do with Biden, per se. Although he has been the beneficiary of COVID being weaponized, he is still little else than a tool.

The forces that are behind him don't care about a Biden presidency. They don't even care about a Trump presidency. Trump had to be removed, even through cheating, and the Biden/COVID tandem had to be used to do it so that a Harris presidency could emerge. All the machinations behind what has happened this year have been about bringing forth the most radical politician possible (to wage war against patriots and believers) and sit them in the White House.

Barring a political miracle, mission accomplished. This outcome will demand a ferocious war for truth to be waged by faithful Catholics teaming up with men of goodwill. More than any other Catholic apostolate on the planet, Church Militant has been positioned for this work. Catholic truth needs to be proclaimed throughout the country — loudly and boldly — with no fear of the consequences.

Trump had to be removed, even through cheating, and the Biden/COVID tandem had to be used to do it so that a Harris presidency could emerge.

Church Militant will march into the New Year better prepared than any other Catholic apostolate to do just this because, as you know, this is the very work we have been doing for the past two years as we saw how things were unfolding. Elections, even stolen elections, have consequences, and a Harris presidency will soon be the order of the day.

Joe will either step down or be removed because the people who put him there were never going to let him remain. In preparation for what's coming (and so that a forceful response can be forthcoming), we are asking you to make a financial donation to support our work here. It's really a war being fought on two fronts — in the Church and in the world.

Any response other than from a faithful Catholic origin will fail, as we have seen in these past couple of months. Please, reach down deep, as the staff here does every day, and donate whatever you can to help us battle against this evil. Political conservatism only goes so far. Like all movements born of goodwill, it too must be baptized, or it eventually succumbs — such is fallen human nature.

So please help us in our continuing work. The world and the Church have arrived at this point after a century of wicked men directing affairs behind the scenes. Please join us in being the first generation of good men to begin the restoration. Just please click on the provided link, and thank you in advance for your donation.

    • An Authentic Catholic Voice

      TRANSCRIPT

As 2020 winds to its close, no one should be lulled into a false sense of security that, with the passing of the year, the dangers and evils exposed in this year will somehow magically pass away as well. They won't. In fact, what is waiting just around the corner has the potential to be far worse, making 2020 little else than a year of preparation.

As Church Militant has become more well known by lapsed and non-Catholics in this past year (owing to politics and our coverage of it — coverage which has been seen tens of millions of times), an opportunity has presented itself: Church Militant is increasingly being sought out as an authentic Catholic voice by politically conservative media outlets.

What this presents is the chance to speak to men of goodwill who may not be Catholic or who may just as likely be horribly catechized Catholics. Both groups may be willing to hear Catholic truth because of how it conforms to their lived reality.

More than any other Catholic apostolate, Church Militant is in a position to be that authentic Catholic voice out in the world.

That Faith is not simply an esoteric, mystical matter, but a reality that finds expression in the concrete world. 2021 is already shaping up to be a year where this looks like it will be needed more than ever before. Men of goodwill who, for whatever reason, are ignorant of the authentic Catholic faith are willing to give it a hearing. This is the very definition of a man of goodwill.

More than any other Catholic apostolate, Church Militant is in a position to be that authentic Catholic voice out in the world. This past Christmas weekend, Church Militant was once again interviewed by a secular conservative outfit and was able to lay out Catholic truth in the secular world. The occasion was Michelle Malkin's show, Sovereign Nation, on Newsmax.

As we move into 2021, we are asking for your help, both spiritually and financially, with our ever-broadening mission. Church Militant is the work of the Church — regardless of what various lame, cowardly Marxist bishops would have you believe.

The order of the world is dictated by the order of the Church. If the Church is out of whack, which it certainly is, then so too will be the world. What we do here at Church Militant is entirely dependent on your generosity. Period. Unlike the Marxists inside as well as outside the Church, we don't have massive endowments, offshore investments, hundreds of millions in government handouts for social justice or anything of the kind.

What we have is our hard work inside the walls coupled with your support outside the walls, which, combined, keep the wheels here turning. For years, we've been saying that faithful Catholics need to understand the convergence of both the natural order and the supernatural order, the world and the Faith, the State and the Church.

Church Militant is the work of the Church — regardless of what various cowardly Marxist bishops would have you believe.

That's been nowhere more obvious than in this past year, where we saw wicked men in the Church cooperate with wicked men in the State to create a phony election, the results of which will soon be felt by the faithful.

So we are asking you in these last few days of 2020 — a clear-vision year if there ever was one — to please make a donation to sustain us in our work here. Our mission is to be used to help save souls. That mission is realized across a very broad front of various engagements, both in the Church and the world, with Catholics as well as non-Catholics and ignorant Catholics.

A restoration must be fought for with more energy and aggression than ever before, and Church Militant needs your help to continue with this. So please click on the link, and make whatever donation you think is fitting.

Thank you in advance, and let's fight to make 2021 the year where the faithful made a stand and started to roll back the torrent of communism.

    • The Hug of Martyrs

      TRANSCRIPT

Merry Christmas — from all of us at Church Militant — to all of you and your loved ones. If Thanksgiving was any indication, lots of people will tell their governors and official scaremongers to shut up, and then hit the road to see their loved ones.

And what is the very first thing they will do? They will hug because they are so excited to see each other. They'll hug so tight, it looks like they'll damage each other's spines. It's always a joy-filled moment that bespeaks a spiritual reality, expressed in a material manner, like the first Christmas.

People hug really hard as though they would pull the entirety of the other person into them, fuse together, form an unbreakable union so intense that they would practically be the same person, almost indistinguishable. That's what you are looking at when you look at the manger: A union of the divine and human.

God "hugging" humanity so closely, so strongly, that in this case, they are fused together inseparably. The God-Man. The Man-God. And this is precisely what is going on when we receive Holy Communion. Our Lord was born of His immaculately conceived Holy Mother and placed by her into a feeding trough.

He who was born in Bethlehem, which means "house of bread," would later call Himself the "bread of life" and instruct those who love Him to eat Him.

He who was born in Bethlehem, which means "house of bread," would later call Himself "the bread of life" and instruct those who love Him to eat Him. Speaking just naturally, no one can be absorbed into another, much less remain there. No matter how deep the love, no matter how intense, two people cannot fuse together physically. Even the marital act (in which the two become one flesh) does not endure for eternity.

But "fusing" with God does last for eternity; it is the "hug" that never ends. The divine food (for that is what He made Himself to be) laid in the trough was born to not just die, but in dying, supplied an avenue for us to be forever united to Himself. It is not just our souls that are saved — even though we freely use that expression.

No, we are saved, in our complete humanity. The body itself rises on the last day, restored to not just natural life but supernatural life because, in the course of this natural life, it was reinforced and prepared with the supernatural bread, the living flesh of Christ Himself. The Blessed Sacrament is, in the last consideration, the supreme act of love. But in order for us to be physically united to Christ, He had to become physical, material, touchable, consumable, unitable to our bodies, our flesh.

Divinity could not be transported through our veins, pumped through our cardiovascular system, pushed along by our beating hearts, unless the God who created those hearts for Himself would first unite Himself to our flesh. In so doing, He fashioned, willingly captured, His divinity in human DNA, and then, becoming our food, passed His divine DNA on to those He loves most in the world.

This is precisely why, at Capernaum when speaking of Himself as the bread of life and the necessity of eating His flesh and drinking His blood, He said, "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I will raise him up on the last day." What you see before you lying in the manger, the bread in the feeding trough, will be the source one day of your own glorified body, made ready and prepared for everlasting glory — a glorified body.

When you go up to receive Holy Communion during this Christmas season, the Lord and King of the Universe is giving you a Christmas hug, and He means to never let go. It is the hug of love, but we must hug back to whatever degree we are able and called to. Our Lord told us that, for some, that return hug would involve the sacrifice of our own body, just as He did.

Some are called to return the divine hug with a martyr's hug, which involves the giving up of one's life for Him. As He Himself said of this, "No greater love hath man this, than he lay down His life for a friend." There can be no greater sacrifice than to give over both body as well as soul out of love for Christ. There is nothing more you possess. You give up everything.

This is why Holy Mother Church reserves such great honors for the martyrs. During the solemnity of Christmas, the octave or the eight days following, the particular feasts Holy Mother Church proposes for us to contemplate don't at first seem to have anything to do with Christmas, yet, there they are, nestled right into the very octave itself.

The day after Christmas Day is the feast of St. Stephen, the first to be martyred for the Faith. Then we have, immediately following him, the feast of the Holy Innocents, the male children under 2 years old butchered by Herod in his lust for power. Then, there is two days later the feast of St. Thomas Becket — murdered at the altar by yet another vicious monarch thirsty for power.

We live in perilous times. Great anxiety, soul-disturbing anxiety about the unknown, plagues our minds and our hearts. No one knows what the future holds or how all the evil will play out and touch upon us. Recall, however, that, as the beauty and joy of the first Christmas was unfolding in Bethlehem, a few miles away, a murderous tyrant was plotting the destruction of the newly born King, and he would slaughter even babies to get at Him to secure his power.

No one should seek out martyrdom, but all should embrace it if it comes.

The Catholic faith is lived in tension in so many cases. One of those tensions is the joy of Christmas in the midst of the anxiety about a murderous regime intent on killing Him again. Down the road, our response may require the return hug of martyrdom, but as natural as it is, fear should not be the predominant emotion, but joy — joy at being able, being chosen, to show forth the depth of our love.

No one should seek out martyrdom, but all should embrace it if it comes. That is, after all, the entire point of Christmas: To receive such a noble gift, in the body and the soul, that we are transformed and taken up into the divine and everlasting hug. May the Babe of Bethlehem grant you and your loved ones the most beautiful graces this holy season.

From the entire Church Militant family, and from those of ours who have passed into the Church Triumphant, Merry Christmas!

Church Militant (a 501(c)4 corporation) is responsible for the content of this commentary.

So a Catholic, a Jew and an atheist walk into a Congress. It has all the ingredients of a bad joke, but this is no laughing matter for the faithful. Three U.S. congressmen — the Catholic Jerry McNerney from California, the Jewish Jamie Raskin of Maryland and the atheist Jared Huffman of California — are intent on destroying all elements of religion in American public life.

And their plan may play out a lot smoother than many people think. They each belong to an organization called Secular Democrats of America, and they advocate for expunging religion from all aspects of the culture (except in the privacy of your own home, at least for now).

These three U.S. congressmen have submitted a 28-page proposal to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris asking them to eliminate religion from American public life by "re-educating Christians" in such a manner so that they keep their "religious dogma" to themselves and within their own homes.

First, you can certainly see that such a proposal would get a very friendly hearing in a Harris-Biden administration, if that comes to pass. After all, a Harris-Biden administration is essentially Obama 2.0 — with almost the entire anti-God gang back in place and ready to go at 10 minutes after noon on Jan. 20, less than a month away.

The atheists (or, as they like to call themselves, "non-theists") have long despised religion in general, but most especially Christianity.

Of course, if that comes to pass, they will have cheated like Hell, literally, to get to that point. But, hey, what's a little cheating to a man like Biden, who cheated his way through law school, plagiarizing a paper, which nearly got him kicked out? (Too bad it didn't.) And, as a quick aside, this is what happens when someone is allowed to get away with stuff because they aren't properly disciplined. Biden should have been expelled; now he's on the verge of becoming president.

But back to the main issue — there are two things worth noting here: First, the welcome reception such a proposal would receive, and second, how these three anti-God freaks have things completely wrong. Recall that Obama was the most anti-God, anti-religion president ever, especially when it came to Christianity.

He proudly announced to the world that "America is no longer a Christian nation." His entire administration, of course, was populated with staffers who hate religion and God and want it all swept away. Now, it appears those same people will be back, and this time with a venegence. When Trump won and they were all leaving their jobs, they had glum looks on their faces.

Well, they're back, and since everybody now knows where everybody else stands, "Let the flood gates open" will be their mantra. The SDA (Secular Democrats of America) announce on their website that the future of America is with the irreligious — those who have no religion and want no religion. They even have pretty graphics trumpeting this, where they show (correctly) that 17% of Americans reject religion and 70% of those are Democrats — not exactly news there.

The SDA also lay out their goal in pretty clear terms — the bad guys always do, just for the record. Scroll down a little bit and there it is: "No one has the right to harm others in the name of religious belief."

Now, while many Democrats in Congress and an incoming Biden administration may not be card-carrying, dues-paying members of SDA (although more than a dozen congressmen are), that agenda is embraced by a huge number of them. Recall that Kamala Harris just last year introduced a bill in the Senate saying the exact same thing. Of course, it got nowhere in the GOP-controlled Senate, but that's not the point.

It will get traction in the executive branch when it comes to those vast powers, and if the Democrats win those Georgia Senate seats, look out. A political party that enjoys the support of 70% of those who reject religion and God having total control of the powers of the federal government? Say no more.

And don't think you'd get a fair shake in the courts if you brought a case. "Fair" walked out the door in the aftermath of the election steal. Their refusal to pursue the vast fraud that this election was tells you everything you need to know. Most judges and justices on the high court have proven themselves to be nothing but go-along losers who find technicalities in the law or "judicial philosophy" to hide behind instead of stepping up and defending truth.

And even if they struck down some anti-religion agenda in some future hypothetical case, how long to do you think it would take the atheist, Party of Death to just pack the court to change the outcome down the road? Probably about 15 minutes.

The atheists (or, as they like to call themselves, "non-theists") have long despised religion in general, but most especially Christianity — even theologically deficient Protestantism because even a somewhat dim understanding of Christ does not allow for their immoral agenda of child-slaughter, unbridled sex, sodomy, destruction of the family and so forth.

So of course, they want Christians driven back into their homes. If you all want to pray around your fireplace, fine. But leave all that Faith stuff at the door when when you step out into our new America. Faithful Catholics might wonder, as all this is taking shape, just where are the U.S. bishops in response.

Don't get us wrong: Nothing would delight us more than to see the bishops stripped of the hundreds of millions of dollars they receive in federal money each year. They used that money over the decades to help create the social and political environment where atheists could actually come to power. So, good, take it all away.

The atheist Democrats are hiding their agenda beneath the veneer of protecting religion from government intrusion.

Some of that money even went to groups who worked to get Biden illegitimately elected — money from the bishops, just to be clear. Remember, about a quarter of U.S. bishops, maybe more, are Democrats. Don't forget that. They embraced the Democrat agenda because of the money they got and its support for homosexuality.

They hid all that under the disguise of "social justice," of course, but any Catholic with two brain cells to rub together knows that was always a ruse. They care about "the poor" about as much as they care about the Faith, which is to say not at all.

My mother, God rest her soul, Mother Vortex had a name for such contemptible men: She called them "wastrels." So just like the bishops hid their real agenda beneath a thin veneer of protecting the poor, the atheist Democrats are hiding their agenda beneath the veneer of protecting religion from government intrusion.

Sure they are. Sure their interest is in protecting Christians from government intrusion. Thanks, but no thanks. The God-haters are sensing their moment. Rightly or prematurely, they are sensing the wind is at their back and their moment has come.

Maybe they're wrong. But ask yourself this: When it comes to believers versus atheists, who do you think has all the momentum? A sufficient number of people — believers —did not step up when they should have. So now, there will be a price to pay for that. The only remaining question is, "If people didn't step up when the going was easy, how many will do so when it gets hard?"

      TRANSCRIPT

It's really soul-disturbing when you go to Mass and realize that what the priest is doing and saying is so wrong, you don't even feel as though you've been to Mass. And, for the record, of course you've been to Mass: The priest, no matter how off base (to put it very mildly), does not alter your intention, thankfully.

So to the point, this past weekend, I happened to attend Mass at a Detroit parish I sometimes go to, but it was not the usual faithful pastor. It was, in fact, a Redemptorist missionary, who seemed to use the entire Mass as a personal showcase just to collect money, blowing off theology as some kind of irritant.

He changed the words here and there to his own fancy (not the words of institution, by the way) and made some rather strange connections between the readings, which you might recall were from Samuel, where Nathan is sent by God to tell David why he is concerning himself with building God a place to dwell.

This notably happened with the gospel, where the angel Gabriel comes to Our Lady to announce God's plan of salvation and her critical role. As the priest read the gospel, he dropped a key word here, like, for example, "He shall be called holy, the Son of God." He just blew over holy. Okay, maybe he just misread it. It's possible, but that's such a familiar passage that even the laity practically have it memorized.

But the goodwill you extend was already wearing thin up to this point because, even before the homily, he'd already talked about giving him money, changed from "the Lord be with you to the Lord is with you," which is a hallmark of these modernist priests — they freelance their way through the prayers.

The Mass does not belong to the priest, not even the pope. He is merely the man who offers it.

And he was winging his way through some other parts, including using the phrase "Father God," which, while not incorrect, is first not in the sacramentary and typically associated with some Protestant denominations.

So the goodwill was quickly evaporating. And here's a point on this: The Mass does not belong to the priest, not even the pope. He is merely the man who offers it. It is the Church's, so it is arrogant as Hell for a priest to enter the sanctuary in the temple of God and ignore the prayers, butcher the readings and freelance his way through various parts.

But then came the "homily" — and we use the term with great warning. I didn't stay for all of it because, about two or three minutes into it. I got up and left and went to the back of the Church and into the vestibule because I could not sit there and listen to him insulting the Queen of Heaven as well as lying to the people.

Again, modernist priests destroy innocent souls. They deprive them of the truth. So here's what he said. He said what we learn from the first reading is that we oftentimes have to change our plans. He said that Nathan told King David that he didn't think it was a good idea for him to build a temple. No, God told Nathan to tell David. Nathan didn't do that on his own accord.

But "Father" attributed the direction to Nathan, leaving God completely out of the account, and then he segued to saying that, just like Nathan told David to change his plans, the angel told Mary to change her plans. What plans would those be? According to "Father" (this is almost a direct quote), "Mary had planned to marry Joesph and raise a family with him and have lots of children."

No, she had not planned that. That was it. I got up and went to the back fuming, wondering if I should confront him after Mass and if I were to do so, should I do it within earshot of other people or not. Standing in the back, I sort of came to the conclusion that I wouldn't because he was just another modernist cleric who uses the Mass as his own stage to promote his own heresy. (So what good would it do?)

That was my mind when I went back to the pew. But, at some point, it came to me that, change his mind or not, the Queen of Heaven deserved to have her honor defended to this impostor.

So I did approach him privately, and, given his somewhat advanced age, I held out a hope, dimly, that he was just another man who had been theologically perverted in seminary and just didn't know about Our Lady's vow of chastity — even after marrying Joseph.

So I said, "Father, I wanted to ask you about something you said in your homily, about Mary having plans to have lots of children. She had no such plans. She had taken the lifetime vow of chastity which is laid out in the book of Deuteronomy." He said, "How do you know what was in her mind?" This, of course, begs the question, "How did he know what was in her mind when he claimed she was planning on raising a big family?"

I said, "Because it says it in the gospel, Father: That's why she was confused when the archangel Gabriel said she would conceive." The rite for all this is from Deuteronomy, which says that a woman may choose this path and still get married if her father and future husband both agree to it.

While not common, it was common enough that there was a process for it in the law. And, moreover, it was done to preserve oneself for God and God alone, a higher calling because of the sacrifice involved. Likewise, the future husband would also have to consent because of the sacrifice that would automatically be imposed on him as well.

So Mary was already of the frame of mind and heart that, even though she was betrothed to Joseph and soon to marry him, there would never be relations between them. Given this, it was ludicrous for the priest to suggest that Mary's "plans" were to have a large family, and the angel came and told her to change those plans.

No, the angel came and told Mary that her plan was to be sanctified in the most singular way. She would still never have relations, but she would conceive a son, and not just any son, the Holy Son of God.

So, understandably, Mary was confused, and as "Father" was singing and dancing his way through the Mass and the gospel, perhaps he missed the part where she revealed her life plans precisely by expressing her confusion. If, as the priest incorrectly and wrongly said, she was planning on having many children, why would that seem so strange and confusing to her? She was going to be married shortly.

You don't exactly need a heavenly apparition to tell you that, if you get married, you're probably going to have children, and the woman most definitely would not be confused and flustered at the idea. It's kind of the point in most cases.

Her confusion reveals her plans, and her plans were to never have marital relations. Again, this is the reason why she responds the way she does, and Sacred Scripture records it. This is why what the priest (I have a hard time calling him "Father") said was so horrible. It busts Our Lady down to just some ordinary teenage girl all excited about getting married and having a family.

She was anything but. To deny that is to indirectly attack all the Marian dogmas as well. In St. Anne's womb, Mary was conceived without original sin — the Immaculate Conception — not because of her own merit or accord but because the eternal God was preparing her for this very moment, the visit by the angel Gabriel.

So when I said to the priest that this is all in the Scriptures and is what the Church teaches, he retorted, "That's what you say the Church teaches." Okay, I will admit at this point, any goodwill I had toward him completely evaporated (sorry, but I'm Irish and human).

I had begun the exchange with a small glimmer of hope that perhaps he hadn't heard any of this, again, being one of many malformed priests. Well, he blew that up almost instantly. I said, "No, Father, this is what the Church teaches; I'm just repeating it. It's not my opinion or version."

He replied, "Well, it's just your understanding of what the Church teaches." I said, "Father, no, you're wrong." And then it came out what was hidden from the congregation just below the surface — the man's arrogance. Frankly, you have to be pretty arrogant to skirt the teachings of the Church, make up your own prayers saying Mass and, for the record, skip out of confession 10 minutes before Mass with a line of about a dozen people (which, yes, he did as well).

He responded to me, "So, I'm the priest, and you're the layman, and you're telling me, the priest, I'm wrong?" I said, "No, the Church is telling you you're wrong, and you clearly don't want to know the truth, so I have nothing else to say." I turned around and left.

Modernist clergy are always arrogant. They try to mask it as best they can, but when confronted it always comes out. They use the Church, they insult Heaven and they lie to the people — the innocent, unsuspecting sheep sitting out in the pews. And, for the record, the priest created an impossible situation for faithful Catholics to receive Holy Communion reverently.

He had the female lector (which there should never be) announce that he was only going to give Communion in the hand. If you wanted to receive on the tongue, go to the "Eucharistic minister." And, for the record, there is no such thing as a "Eucharistic minister." There is only the minister of Holy Communion, which is only a member of the ordained class, and when it might be a layman because of extraordinary circumstances, then for that Mass, the layman becomes an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, not a Eucharistic minister (which is only an ordained male).

So what the priest created was a kind of Communion-reception blockade. By refusing to give on the tongue and only in the hand, you couldn't receive from him. And by chasing those who wished to receive on the tongue over to the good young man serving (who was not a minister of Holy Communion), he made it impossible to receive.

There were no extraordinary circumstances at Mass where someone other than the priest had to distribute, so there was no need for the young man to do so. Likewise, the priest forced the young man into a kind of impossible situation as well. The priest is the authority, and here you are at Mass as a young altar server, and, bam, the priest orders you do to something you'd really rather not do.

It's always about helping the poor with the heretics, just like it was with Judas.

It's not a sin certainly, but that's not the point. The priest is twisting and perverting people's consciences and disturbing their souls during Mass unnecessarily. He's changing the words, throwing in Protestant references, preaching errantly about the Queen of Heaven and raising questions for the faithful about how they can receive reverently.

But he did manage to get his money to "help the poor." It's always about helping the poor with the heretics, just like it was with Judas. And, likewise, when it came to the sign of peace, something we have been mercifully spared during the pandemic scam (no problem there), "Let us offer each other the sign of peace." Well, hold the horses there, Father. You can't distribute Holy Communion on the tongue because of the pandemic, but everyone in the Church (who are all social distancing) can all of a sudden shake hands and turn around and start talking to each other?

Man, this is one smart virus. It knows whether you are shaking hands or receiving on the tongue. Shake hands and no problem; receive on the tongue, and it becomes deadly. These malicious men have got to be confronted. And, yes, it is malice. Likewise, the bishops who allow them to come to their dioceses and further deceive the faithful: They have to be confronted.

The whole phony social justice narrative used to subvert the Faith has got to be called out for the you-know-what that it really is. After Mass, a group of people was speaking, and one of them said to me, "You challenged him on what he said, right?" And, still a little hot, I said back, "Oh yeah." She said, "Good. I thought what he said was wrong or off, but I didn't know exactly why."

So confronting doesn't always solve the problem outright, but it can help others to understand they're being deceived. Truth deserves a defense and a witness.

      TRANSCRIPT

The parallels between Church leaders and government leaders is so striking, it'd be comical if it weren't so desperate.

There are wicked men in each camp, no doubt — not just bumbling fools, but actually wicked men who work to subvert and overthrow their respective institutions' missions.

But lay that crowd aside for a moment and let's look at how that group is able to succeed.

As we look out over the election and all the fraud and cheating and theft and disenfranchisement that has occurred, it forms a nice backdrop to actually have this larger discussion.

Let's just jump to the end of the story first and then come back and fill in the details.

All of this has occurred for the very simple reason that it was allowed to occur. And now that it has all become public, it continues for the same reason — because it is allowed to continue.

They are never confronted by the men in their own ranks who know the truth.

Yes, there are wicked, deceitful people doing the dastardly deeds and crimes, but they are able to get away with all of it because of the cowards who do nothing to prevent them or fix it.

The exact same thing is true in the hierarchy, hence the parallel. There are wicked, evil men with miters who seek to destroy all that is good. That's always going to be the case, everywhere, until the second coming.

But they are able to succeed to the extent they are allowed to succeed — permitted by self-interested cowards afraid to confront them and bring an end to it. This crowd is the real issue, not the wicked destroyers. Those men will always be around. They are sick in the head, invested with noble goals given them by God in the Church and the people in the government setting, yet they pilfer and loot and plunder at every turn.

Fine — they are part of the landscape of fallen humanity. But the extent of the damage they can do is entirely dependent on the response — the confronting of their evil by those who should be doing it.

In 2002, when the news broke wide open about the homo-sex abuse going on in the church, and more importantly the cover-up, the "leaders" promised they would fix it.

Liars — they did no such thing. They fixed nothing, instead developing a plan which further insulated themsleves from the fallout — a plan designed by the most notorious offender among them — Theodore McCarrick, whom many of them knew the truth about.

For all their chest-thumping and phony acts of humility signaling, nothing changed as bishops continued lying, covering up, protecting homopredators, abusing victims again and so forth.

It wasn't until almost 20 years later that the McCarrick news revealed the reality. So the cries came from them again: "Oh, we'll get it right this time. We're going to make all the laity take classes."

Meanwhile, they totally ignore and even deny the root of the problem has been (and still is) their own embrace of all things gay. The bishops fight for gay rights and never shut up about the topic, almost as though it were personal. Hmmmm.

In the process, all they are supposed to protect, the innocents placed in their charge, are betrayed time and time again.

Stupid phony evangelization programs are trotted out about every 18 months. Catechesis programs insulting to anyone with a brain are spotlighted left and right. And people continue to fall away. The truth is denied and the gay bullies in the Church — whether they are in the pulpit, the choir loft or the chancery — are allowed to get away with spiritual murder.

Why? Because they are never confronted by the men in their own ranks who know the truth. Weak bishops — not the wicked ones here, weak men as bishops — are a scourge, period.

Who is damaged by this cowardice, this lack of willingness to do one's duty? The innocent, as usual.

Now, to show the parallel in government, how is that any different from what's going on in the election fallout?

Weak, cowardly judges have yet to permit the mountains of evidence — so high now that it constitutes proof — to be examined in court.

State legislatures refuse to exercise their constitutional duty to reclaim their authority and reverse the scam of certifying a fraudulent election in their respective states, and votes for a slate of electors that pretends all is good.

Likewise on Capitol Hill, while there are some murmurings here or there of bringing this all to a head on Jan. 6 at the joint session where the electoral college votes are officially counted, there is yet to materialize an actual declared challenge and the movement to support it.

And who is damaged by this cowardice, this lack of willingness to do one's duty? The innocent, as usual.

The bishops and the establishment GOP, as well as judges all over the country, are little else than self-interested weaklings who are too afraid to do the right thing. And the reason they are afraid is because they know they may have to pay a personal cost — from being busted down by Pope Francis and his Marxist Vatican, to having Antifa show up at their posh house in the wealthy suburb they live in, to being excoriated by the Marxist media.

Whatever the reason, none of them excuse their cowardice and self-interest.

The reason leaders enjoy the so-called "privilege of power" is so that they can exercise it in defense of the little man, the innocent, whether it's in the Church or the nation. Yet most of these cowards are so well insulated from their own selfish actions that they never feel the consequences of them.

Take for example the shrinking Church. As chancery staff are laid off and parishes closed and all that, do you seriously think the bishop is impacted, personally? He doesn't lose his health insurance, his cleaning ladies, his secretary, his food, his car, his house. In fact, from his personal standpoint, not a thing has changed.

That's one reason they never do anything about anything. They never feel the pain or suffer the consequences of going along with the evil. At least not in this life.

Continuing the parallel with the establishment GOP. The same thing is true. They likewise never feel the pain of their cowardice. They keep their incomes (even vote themselves raises) health insurance, cars, homes, food, you name it.

Weak leaders always insulate and protect themselves, never getting the dirt and scars of battle on them.

The hierarchy of the Church has already gone to Hell. Somehow, Our Lord will correct that situation because ultimately the Church belongs to Him, not them.

How He will do it is certainly a mystery right now, but He will do it because He promised "the gates of Hell shall not prevail" and "I will dwell with you all days, even unto the consummation of the world."

But shifting over to the GOP establishment, established in their cowardice and greed, no such promise exists, which of course extends to the entire nation.

God has invested Himself personally in no earthly power. If they follow His will, they will endure. When they cease, they will be destroyed. It's just that simple.

But for the moment, bishops and the GOP establishment are like two peas in a pod, indistinguishable except for the miters.

Cowards, the lot of them: judges, senators, congressmen, bishops. They might as well be called cheats, liars, murderers and thieves.

All their weaponry — and it is considerable — will be turned directly against the innocent, truth-loving Americans who only want justice in this election.

It is the innocent who will pay first for the crimes of these men — the people they will not protect, as they are sworn to do.

Tens of millions of Americans know this election was stolen. If the Marxists get full control, they will have to set about destroying those Americans. They can't allow them to agitate for four years like they did for Trump's first term.

All their weaponry — and it is considerable — will be turned directly against the innocent, truth-loving Americans who only want justice in this election because all future elections are now in jeopardy.

Likewise, all innocent, truth-loving Catholics also only want justice now in the Church — the true faith being preached — because the future of the Church in America is in serious jeopardy.

And one last striking parallel is the purge. If you don't think a purge of the innocent is coming if the Marxists get control in D.C., then you're high. Do you really think the cowards who let them seize power will then set up and fight for the innocent? Get real.

But there is a comparison, again, in the Church. The wicked Marxist-bishop gang has seized control — again thanks to the cowards — and they have initiated their purge.

Ask any faithful priest who dares to open his mouth and preach the truth — ask him what happens if you don't toe the party line.

There's a reason St. John puts cowards at the top of his list when talking about the order of the damned.

It is the cowardly establishment that has brought both Church and country to ruin. They truly are two peas in a pod.

      TRANSCRIPT

Many patriots, Catholics, and others of goodwill are looking around the country and scratching their heads saying, "How did the commies seize power in the United States?"

Overcoming America did not happen in a day or even a couple of decades. It was, as the commies correctly note, the result of a "long march through the institutions." It was a coordinated attack against foundational principles, through the foundational institutions, with the destruction of the family as the goal.

The family is the building block of any civilization, and without it, nothing else can long endure. So institutions that helped form family, support family, advance family had to be eaten away at — slowly at first, but gradually picking up speed. There are many dynamics we can talk about here — the taking over of the media, education, the courts and so forth.

One we would like to concentrate on here is the invasion of Christian morality, first through Protestant denominations and eventually Catholicism. The Christian faith had served as a kind of moral cement since the nation's founding, keeping passions relatively in check and allowing for the family to flourish, at least relative to the miserable situation family life finds itself in today.

The Christian faith had served as a kind of moral cement since the nation's founding, keeping passions relatively in check and allowing for the family to flourish.

At the heart of the attack against Christianity was the eugenicist movement of the late 19th and early 20th century. The rich global-minded elites wanted to control the world and limit population growth among the peasant classes, who were seen as undesirable. The central group going after the family was, oddly enough, the family of the Rockefellers, long time believers in controlling the world population.

With their billions, they funded the burgeoning birth control movement spearheaded by Marie Stopes in the United Kingdom and Margaret Sanger here in the United States. Both women, but especially Sanger, were massive racists; so much, in fact, that the woke culture finally caught up to Planned Parenthood, forcing them to rename their highest award, dropping the name Sanger from it.

The movement targeted Christianity in general, but specifically the Church of England, the Anglicans, to get them to accept birth control as moral. Two attempts failed in 1910 and again in 1920. But in 1930, at the Lambeth Conference, Anglican leaders finally caved in and declared that contraception in some limited form was moral and could be permitted.

This marked the first time in 2,000 years that any Christian group had accepted the moral evil of contraception. Even Martin Luther had virulently condemned birth control. It provoked an almost immediate response from the Vatican, one declaring that Christian morality has held from the very beginnings that birth control is always a grave evil, the only Christian faith that still teaches this truth.

One by one, Protestant congregations gave in and accepted birth control as compatible with the teachings of Christ — which it is not. This was a major victory for the Marxists. The Christian faith, which held society together, had now been dramatically weakened, especially since America was a predominantly Protestant nation.

It was not long after religious principles weakened that other institutions began to become unsettled. Various mainline Protestant denominations across the board began to become unmoored from Scripture, and since many of them ran or were strongly aligned with the nation's most prestigious colleges, they too began a leftward lurch.

Those universities produced the next generation of cultural and political leaders, who, having been formed in an anti-religious environment, began dismantling morality up and down the country. They got into law schools and made their way onto the courts, and, in the late 1960s, made contraception a "constitutional right," based on a manufactured right to privacy (which then went on to become the basis for wholesale abortion and, eventually, homosexual marriage).

In the midst of all this, however, there was still the Catholic opposition to contraception, and Church Militant covered all this in an investigation we produced over 10 years ago called "Contraception Deception."

The major force behind attacking the Catholic Church and trying to subvert her was Saul Alinsky, who wormed his way into influential Church circles over the issue of social justice — in essence, class warfare. That was the topic of another investigation we did years ago as well.

As things turned more Marxist in the United States as well as the Church, it became clear that communism was ascendant, especially with the silence of duplicitous bishops who were covering up their own sins of child rape of thousand of altar boys by homosexual priests and bishops.

These men sat silent as the political winds were shifting furiously and offered next to no aid at all, allowing their flocks to be overrun and ground up in the machinery of the Culture of Death as lay Catholics by the tens of millions succumbed to the propaganda of the Marxist Democrats, demonstrated by the overwhelming support they showed the child-killer-in-chief, Obama.

Obama was able to actually put together a coalition of so-called Catholics who aggressively campaigned for him and who attacked faithful Catholics as racists for opposing his anti-Catholic policies. If you haven't heard all this before, or have only heard only bits and pieces of it, that's what Church Militant is here for: to help you connect the dots and understand the war we are in right now, theologically as well as politically.
