    TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the Reawaken America Tour in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this past weekend where thousands of American patriots packed the rafters to listen to a dazzling array of subjects and speakers — all of them aimed at taking back America from the communist influence swamping it. In fact, its overall theme is writ large with the messaging of the Great Awakening vs. the Great Reset. It's a message that resonates perfectly in this crowd.

What's most interesting about events like this, again, routinely attended by thousands of patriots, is just how under the radar they are for the average American. The Marxist media has no desire whatsoever to cover these kinds of things — just the opposite, in fact.

As a result, a virtual, and we do mean virtual, cottage industry has grown up and provides wall-to-wall coverage on its own websites and livestreams. Almost two dozen niche politically conservative websites and citizen-journalist outfits were present, streaming and providing content and information to a combined audience of hundreds of thousands (touching a million or more by conservative estimates). Even more big-name conservative outfits like Epoch Times were present — also streaming the message and providing commentary and analysis and keeping the troops back home updated.

All of this is, of course, still somewhat in its infancy compared to the Marxist media, but every passing year, this combined effort is reaching more and more Americans — normal Joes fed up with the Marxist dominance of the culture. The smarter outfits like Church Militant have long since figured out that any of this could be canceled by Big Tech, and we've spent a fortune ensuring we have our own servers and platforms and are not as easily unplugged by Big Tech.

However, there is one aspect to all this that we at Church Militant and faithful Catholics have got to bring up. These events (and the ensuing coverage) are largely organized through Protestant congregations and their ministers, who are on board with the narrative. There is plenty of talk and billboards and flyers extolling God, Jesus and faith — but it's all Protestant.

With the exception of Church Militant, there is not a single official or even semiofficial Catholic presence there or, in fact, at any events like this anywhere around the country. Think of the incredible evangelism opportunity being missed here at events like this.

Aside from media, there is what's called "information alley," where vendors are hocking shirts, books, pamphlets and so forth. Not a single Catholic table anywhere. Do Catholics really have nothing to say about the direction of the country, about the most pressing issues of the day culturally and politically? Talk about going out to the margins and getting "the smell of the sheep" on you.

Think of the incredible evangelism opportunity being missed here at events like this.

Many folks here are, of course, die-hard Protestants with their sola scriptura nonsense and so forth. But there is no shortage of men and women of goodwill. These are people, who, through no fault of their own, simply do not know the fullness of the truth and, at an event like this, how nation-changing, and country-transforming that fullness of truth can be. After all, it was the Catholic Church that built Western civilization. Yet, it's a fair bet that very few attendees know that history.

In the world of evangelizing, there is more than one way to "skin a cat." When you start with the hard fact that many Protestants also see the destruction of the nation, you have a jumping-off point because we have a shared reality.

So why is it that Protestants have built all this and Catholics are MIA? There's one simple reason, and, yes, it's the bishops. The U.S. hierarchy has never offered a solution to the destruction of the culture in the wake of the sexual revolution. Nothing. Practically all shut their mouths. Some quietly agreed with the revolt against God, and others actively participated in it.

Since the hierarchy controls the affairs of the Church, they recruited males into the seminary who were homosexual, males who had no desire to preach about morality and family values. In fact, they undermined them — many deliberately. And over the decades, they produced tens of millions of Catholic laymen who reject correct theology, which has had the trickle-down effect of warping minds politically.

In a case of what might have been, instead of opposing or ignoring these kinds of events, they spent billions of dollars (your dollars) on paying off homopredator sex abuse victims and attorneys — and they still are.

Checking with organizers, this weekend's event costs approximately a million dollars to host. Ticket sales offset that, of course, but, at the end of the day, it costs money and takes a lot of commitment to do. But everyone associated with it will tell you that when it's all done, it's well worth it. But some Catholic hierarchs have no desire to host these sorts of events, no stomach to talk and preach about patriotism, duty, honor and family. They are too busy protecting perverted priests like James Martin and "Msgr. Grindr," who lie about their love of the Great Reset.

As a result of all the social conditioning that has gone on in the parishes for decades at the hands of weak and homosexual men, the laity has been neutralized as any kind of impactful force — talk about the "Great Squandering." That's why there is no official Catholic presence at anything like this. The handful of Catholic media apostolates that possess the capability to cover this and even participate know the bishops would flip their miters if that happened.

Some quietly agreed with the revolt against God, and others actively participated in it.

In fairness, even in the Protestant world, Marxist pastors and the religious Left exert great influence, but the difference is that there is no centralized control or authority exercised over Protestant congregations. There is, in short, no Protestant version of a "hierarchy," so individual groups can do whatever they want. Theologically speaking, that's an absolute disaster. But culturally speaking, it has paid off in spades.

Because the Catholic hierarchy has become so corrupt, it has the effect of dampening any such effort among faithful Catholics. There is no support, help, aid, assistance or even kind word of encouragement from bishops for this type of thing. Heck, if a priest even wanted to put in his bulletin that parishioners should go and participate in something like this, then his gay bishop would sideline him faster than you could say "Joseph Stalin."

That's why it's the laity, just like all of us at Church Militant, who must realize all this and take up the charge from the Catholic perspective. We simply cannot cede this "reawakening movement" as though 2,000 years of truth have nothing to contribute. In reality, it should be Catholics leading this just like we did in the overturning of Roe.

But don't count on any help from the corrupt hierarchy. They've spent all your money on cases of homosexual sex abuse and cover-up. They have deceived you about the Faith, specifically the Church's beautiful social teaching, which they have corrupted and used as a weapon against America. They are caving in to and going along with the phony narrative of man-made climate change, profiting off of illegal immigration and supporting the abolition or massive curtailing of the Second Amendment.

When you look at that giant projection wall here at this convention, you see "The Great Awakening vs. The Great Reset." Faithful Catholics, as well as those who are only somewhat plugged, need to realize that the corrupt bishops have placed the Church on the wrong side of that battle. Catholics have a duty to fight against the Great Reset, even when their own bishops are over there.

Consider all this a further invitation to come to Detroit for our Church Militant Call to Action Convention at the end of August.

    TRANSCRIPT

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present to you the Marxists' leading candidate for the next president of the United States: Michelle Obama.

That's the conclusion of this Vortex, so let's walk you through the steps to reach that conclusion. First, Joe — a complete flop, loser, washed up, done with. This National Review headline from Wednesday just about says it all: "Joe Biden's Latest Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Polling."

The article's clincher says it all: "57% say that the actions of the federal government over the past six months have hurt their family when it comes to their most important concern." The National Review continued, "When it's four months to Election Day and 57% of the voters say that your current and recent policies are making things personally worse for them on their most important issue, you are not in a good place."

There's absolutely no need to go into any of the details in this article because there isn't an American breathing who doesn't know that this man is done. At this point, it's unsurprising to learn that many Democrats feel the same way.

Among those not wanting Joe to run again are potential Democratic opponents. Hillary Clinton, of course, is beginning to do a light jig around Biden's grave, and she's not alone. Also stepping up, smelling blood in the water, is California's phony-Catholic governor Gavin Newsom as well as Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker.

While this trio is being a bit more audacious, there is one who is hanging back, being much more sneaky and quiet, and that is Michelle Obama. Yes, the rumor machine was in full swing in 2020 about Michelle jumping, which she never did.

There is one who is hanging back, being much more sneaky and quiet, and that is Michelle Obama.

But Biden was not a dismal Democratic president in 2020. This time around, with an appetite among a significant portion of Democrats to dump Biden after the midterms, an opening has, well, opened up.

Look at these numbers from Zogby from last month.

Among Democrats, whom this poll is sampling, less than half of voters — just 41% — would support Biden against a spate of other big-name Democrats.

And look who is in second place. Yep, there she is: Michelle Obama. Now, if Biden dies or the desperate Dems can persuade him to either resign, or at least not run, then look who zooms to the top of the Democratic wish list.

Leading the pack is Michelle Obama at 21%, even beating out current vice president Kamala Harris.

Of course, it's still early. The midterms haven't even happened yet, and many Democratic candidates will be watching those results very closely and weighing their chances against those outcomes. But there is a big difference between 2020 and 2024.

First, a surprisingly large number of voters also say Trump should not run again either: 61%. While it's not as many as those giving the thumbs down to Biden (71%), 61% is not nothing. And, there's another huge point in Michelle's favor compared to other would-be Dem hopefuls: They have a track record and she does not.

She gets to run on the "Obama myth." They have to give an account to the whole country of their tyrannical COVID actions and full, wide-ranging embrace of abortion. In fact, the likes of Newsom and Pritzker are flirting with running precisely because they think — and have said — Biden is too weak and too compromising in the face of Republicans.

That will play well with the purple-haired freaks waving coat hangers in the streets, but most of America has no stomach for that insanity. Newsom and Pritzker have made their states abortion sanctuaries, backed CRT and are all-in for drag-queen-story childhood-perversion stuff, the very stuff that Americans rebelled against in every special election since 2020.

All of that social madness is part of the fabric of Democratic Party preaching that has brought America to its knees. They are huge supporters of the phony man-made climate change narrative (the so-called Green New Deal) and all the economy-crushing consequences that come with it.

The social madness is part of the fabric of Democratic Party preaching that has brought America to its knees.

So imagine a Democratic primary where that crowd, including Hillary, has to defend those records against candidate Michelle who gets to sit back and thread the needle, appearing to be the most "reasonable" and, wait for it, "moderate." She hasn't even really opened her mouth yet and is in the lead, compared to all of them.

Overcoming the "Michelle myth" would be a huge uphill fight for the politically and spiritually orthodox, a fight that too few are prepared for, frankly.

The specter of Madame President Michelle Obama (and all that comes with it) is a very real possibility. With her seeming nonchalance, above-it-all indifference and "moderate" stance, she would be formidable as a candidate, just as her husband was. There was, as we know now (and many of us knew back then), nothing moderate about Barack. In fact, the Biden social-engineering program is largely credited to Obama, behind the scenes.

Back during campaign 2020, Church Militant said a Biden administration would be nothing else other than Obama 2.0. And, unfortunately, we were right.

The Democrats are controlled by demons. They hate life, families and especially children, who represent innocence, hope and the future.

While the overturning of Roe appears to have not been the magic elixir to turn back an expected red wave the Dems had hoped it would be across the country, it has energized the base, the freaks and the media. And that means more enthusiasm at the local level by the radicals.

That must be countered by the good guys, those who say they hate all this anti-American, anti-God, anti-religion, anti-family politics. But there is a huge difference between the Marxists and the patriots. They are well-organized. We are not.

It's the entire reason Church Militant is organizing our Call to Action Convention for late August, here in Detroit — to help train you in how to fight back and repel these kinds of forces. If you think sitting at home and clicking online petitions is the formula, then, frankly, you don't get it.

The Marxists are well-trained and enthused. They may be small in number, but that has never deterred them. They have the kind of desire and commitment that we so frequently find lacking among the faithful. Part of that is owing to the fear among those on the right that they don't know how to fight or what to do.

Come to Detroit in August and we will show you.

    TRANSCRIPT

Church Militant is now the most-talked-about Catholic website on the planet.

From atheists to leftist Marxists (including but not limited to members of the hierarchy) to politicians who pose as conservatives to faithful Catholics who are sick and tired of the constant downward spiral, Church Militant has risen to be a leader — perhaps the leader — in this area. Even the Vatican Secretariat of State monitors us every day, as well as multiple dioceses throughout the country, including our own here in Detroit.

First, we'd like to thank all of you who have propelled this apostolate to the heights it has reached. None of it would be possible without you. But there is something more basic I'd like to address and get a little personal about in the process, if I may.

What Church Militant has become today owes to one moment in the temporal order. Of course, without the spiritual order of my mom's prayers for my return to the Faith and the multitude of graces they afforded us, the temporal order would amount to nothing. That being said, the temporal order does matter, a lot.

When I returned to the Faith (the One True Faith), I had a deep yearning to do something for the Faith that would be a "thank you" to God as well as a "share the joy of the truth" to others.

From the time of my reversion in June 2004 until the first "inspiration" or idea in late 2005, I used to talk with my dad constantly about what I could do. I had zero ideas really — all kinds of stuff, but nothing taking solid form. I was doing very well financially in my career at the time, but just increasing donation amounts to various Catholic outfits didn't seem like enough.

At that time of my life, in fall 2005, my job was taking me around the world on various production shoots, and the book The Da Vinci Code was everywhere. Written by Dan Brown, it was another one of those "death by a thousand cuts" approaches to destroying people's faith.

The book, which calls itself a novel but is treated as history, is little else than a denial of Our Lord’s divinity. It also insisted He and Mary Magdalene were an "item" and had a child, and the Catholic Church was part of a 2,000-year-long conspiracy trying to hide this from the world.

The book (and subsequent movie starring Tom Hanks) was the sole impetus in the temporal order for the launching of this apostolate — nothing more.

I was infuriated by the proposals the book and movie put forward and said to myself, "I have to do something!" So I told my dad that I had finally figured out what to do and began producing a documentary debunking the ridiculous claims of Dan Brown.

I never got around to producing that documentary because several days later, after severe writer's block, I said, "Dad, The Da Vinci Code isn't the problem. The problem is that people believe all this crap because they don't know the Faith. What we need is some kind of regular media presentation of the truths of Catholicism." A few weeks later, I was renting building space, converting it into a studio and getting down to business.

That first effort was and remains our flagship show, The One True Faith, with more than 100 hour-long episodes. Premium members can still view those. The host looks a little younger, but the content is great because it's Catholic truth. The point is, I did something.  When staff members joined me in those early days, none of us had the slightest idea that it would become all this. That was God's doing.

He did what He did because we did something. We had no guarantee of success. We didn't plan or even think of all this. We almost crashed and burned twice. But because we kept praying and fighting and doing, here we are.

I'm saying all this to encourage you to do something meaningful. Put some skin in the game — your skin. It must hurt to count. It must be a sacrifice to be meaningful. The world is going to hell and you must do something.

Put some skin in the game — your skin.

Anyone with eyeballs can see a major spiritual war happening on two fronts — the Church and the culture, specifically politics. We know there are 100 reasons not to get fully involved and completely commit to fighting this uphill war.

There will always be excuses, reasons and rationalizations, but, at the end of the day, there's only one reason to get involved and make the sacrifice — to fight for the future and roll back evil, even a little bit; to stand in that breach and do your duty. It is a sacred duty to fight against evil. God Himself created you for this time. He knew you from all eternity. He planned in His divine mind to assign you to this time and place in history.

This is the whole reason Church Militant is sponsoring our "Call to Action Convention" in late August.

No warrior is worth a lick if he goes into battle unprepared. This requires two things: a willingness and dedication to fight and proper training.

The weekend of August 19–21 here in Detroit, we are assembling a team of fantastic presenters — 16 individuals who committed to the fight long ago and have fashioned an impressive arsenal of knowledge and action. They want to instruct you in the ways of this war.

It's safe to say that all of them didn't start out with anything other than a sense of "I have to do something" to fight evil. They didn't write letters, sign online petitions or share podcasts. On their own, those activities amount to practically nothing. What they did was get off their butts and get involved. They got mad, committed and determined to do something.

Most of them had no formal training in their eventual areas of excellence. They had desire motivated by love for truth and the right. They had no personal ambitions of being leaders, but their desire vaulted them into leadership roles.

They had no personal ambitions of being leaders, but their desire vaulted them into leadership roles.

    People like:

    • Molly Smith, head of Cleveland Right to Life, responsible for igniting thousands of Ohioans in the cause for life
    • Marc Randazza, one of the premier First Amendment attorneys in the country
    • Stacy Langton, who began the attack on sexual indoctrination in public schools and catapulted Glenn Youngkin to the Virginia governorship
    • Patrick Jones from Shasta County, California (deep-blue California), where he and a group of other committed patriots successfully ousted a Marxist county supervisor
    • Dan Cox, who has garnered the endorsement of President Trump in his bid to be the next governor of deep-blue Maryland
    • The Church Militant Call to Action Convention will be presenting 16 experts who said, "I have to do something!" They did not begin as experts, just concerned Catholics and patriots who committed to getting off their posteriors and getting in the fight. So should you.

Church Militant is holding this convention to help shape you into the next generation of leaders by listening to those who ascended to leadership. We know there are huge numbers of you who are horrified at the state of affairs and want to do something, but aren't sure what or how. This Call to Action Convention is for you, the common man or woman who has the desire but needs the training.

Click on the provided link and get here to Motown next month. Listen to these people who were no different than you and had no more experience or promise than you. They just did something about it, as you should. You have no idea what God will do with your desire. You just need to commit.

    • Cutting Off Debate

      TRANSCRIPT

Listening to the media fallout from the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe, as well as a host of other rulings this term, you’d think the world was coming to an end. Headlines like "Judicial Activism" and "Illegitimate Court" dominate the Marxist media.

What the media types are banking on (or at the very least, hoping for) is that the majority of people can be snookered into thinking the current court is the activist one — not the various courts that preceded it for decades.

It all revolves around a proper understanding of the Constitution, meaning, Should it be seen in a very narrow manner or a very broad manner?

A very narrow meaning means just that. Only the rights laid out in it count — life, liberty and pursuit of happiness; press; speech; religion and so forth. Of course, as time goes by, all that sometimes needs interpreting, but never so much as to actually create new rights.

The concept of liberty was massively expanded.

In the parlance of Catholic theology, you could call it the "development of doctrine" versus the creation of new doctrine.

When new rights are created, particularly as they happen to align with the spirit of the age, the court ceases to be a body of interpreters and instead becomes a court of activism.

Since the 1960s, the Supreme Court has largely been an activist court full of activist judges.

For example, it takes jumping through more than just a few hoops to move from a constitutional right to liberty to a constitutional "right" to kill an unborn child.

But that's exactly what the court did in Roe in 1973. The same with Obergefell in 2015. The concept of liberty was massively expanded to embrace the idea that sodomy was not only lawful but actually a cultural good and, therefore, should be enshrined as legal marriage. Another activist interpretation — with nothing to support it other than opinion polls and societal moods married to the whims of a culture.

During the halcyon days of the activist court, the media were cheering and hooting and hollering — celebrating all of the rulings as good for America, democracy and so forth.

But — and here’s the rub — they were all based on illegitimate readings of the law, deliberately poor interpretations of the Constitution.

A basic common-sense test could be applied to many of the decisions to determine if they were legitimate or not. For example, would anyone seriously argue that the Founding Fathers had intended to promote anal sex between two men as "marriage"? Or that an entire industry could spring up dedicated to nothing more than killing tens of millions of preborn children?

It just doesn't pass the "smell test."

So over the past several decades, from the dawn of the sexual revolution forward, Americans have had hammered into their skulls by the Marxist media that all these things are "rights." And not just rights, but constitutional rights. And not just constitutional rights, but fundamental constitutional rights.

The truth is they were never any of that. They aren't spelled out in the Constitution at all, so how could they be? A fundamental right, a foundational right, would surely be spoken of in the nation's foundational documents, right?

Some are life, liberty, the bearing of arms, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and so forth. And sorry, Marxists, if it ain't in the original you don't get to "interpret" it into being. If you want to add it, then get a constitutional convention going and amend the Constitution, but you don't get to make it up as you go along.

The truth is there is no appetite in the United States for their Marxist agenda. That's why they had to grab the court and pervert it in the first place. But since it took so long for political conservatives to get to a point to get control of the court back, a generational problem has arisen.

Almost four generations have now gone by where abortion has been able to have been spoken of as a constitutional "right." Indeed, many of the signs we saw last week in Washington, D.C., claimed rights were being taken away, while, in truth, those rights as rights never existed to begin with.

So now the headlines are just that — rights are being rolled back, taken away by an activist court, while the reality is nothing is happening other than a restoration of the correct view.

But here's the Marxists' ace in the hole — the media.

The Luciferian media, who created the atmosphere and the lexicon that sodomy and child killing were "rights," now get to speak incessantly about rights being taken away, a theme repeated by the shock troops on the streets.

This narrative is just one of many that has to be attacked relentlessly by the honest media, media that deal in the truth. And yes, we are of course speaking of our wall-to-wall coverage of this issue, not just last week, but what Church Militant has been doing since its inception.

What the Marxists' control of the media has afforded them is the ability to cut off debate.

On their way to power, they are all about debate and fairness and blah blah. But once they achieve power, all debate is over, like in a cardinal-elect-Bp.-McElroy "listening session" where people who say things the pro-sodomy prelate doesn't want to "listen to" are driven out of the building.

It's how affairs are being handled in the Church right now.

These sessions, laughably labeled as "listening" sessions, are being held all over the country in anticipation of next year's synod in Rome. But, of course, the notes from all these sessions are held very close to the vest as a final document, supposedly summarizing people's thoughts, is assembled.

But the average Joe is not allowed anywhere near that part of the process and is just supposed to accept the establishment narrative. "Trust the process" is a load of malarkey we hear way too much.

If it ain't in the original you don't get to 'interpret' it into being.

Hey, bishops, it's not the "process" we don’t trust — it's you and the people you've appointed to be in charge of the process. Like the Marxists and their media in the culture, the institutional church has forfeited any amount of trust.

The bishops learned to cut off debate much earlier than the Left did. In fact, the Marxists read their book on how to cut off debate. The parallels between the Marxists and those in operational control of the Church are stunning.

The only reason debate is ever cut off in midstream is to conceal the truth. The truth is very clear.

The court was co-opted and then created new so-called rights to support the immoralities of the sexual revolution, which has led to the destruction of the family and severe downgrading of America.

Then, through the democratic process, a correct judicial philosophy was restored to the court, and now, it is simply fixing the mistakes of the past 60 years.

That's not "activism"; it's correction — and much needed.

    • Beware the ‘Lame Duck’

      TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris coming to you from Capitol Hill, where Democrats are not only putting on a display of raw political power with the meaningless Jan. 6 hearings, but also huddling up trying to lock down some strategy to blunt the impact of the court's overturning of Roe.

The ruling itself they are powerless to do anything about, at least with the current makeup of the court.

And given the relatively young ages, it doesn't appear there will be any vacancies to fill anytime soon.

Clarence Thomas is the senior justice at 74, followed by Samuel Alito at 72. Chief Justice John Roberts is 67, Brett Kavanaugh is 57, Gorsuch is 54 and Amy Coney Barrett is 50.

On the opposite side, Sonia Sotomayor is 68, Elena Kagan is 62 and Ketanji Brown Jackson is 51.

That is an extremely young court overall, and, to put it in a little perspective personally, I'm older than four of them — and almost five. It's true that Justice Thomas is 74, but many justices have far surpassed that age and remained on the bench. So as the Dems huddle, replacing one of the Justices in the remaining time Biden has left in the White House is pretty much scratched off their list.

The government whips out the Commerce Clause to regulate every aspect of life.

It's clear whatever sweeping strategy they employ will have to derive from the current power they have here on "the Hill." And on that score, there are two major attacks they can deploy.

First, there is the idea of packing the court — adding a bunch more justices, all pro-child killing, to offset the current balance of power on the court. But in order to do that, they would have to end the Senate filibuster and they do not have the votes to do so.

Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, both Democrats, are each on the record as saying they will not vote to get rid of the filibuster, and the Dems would need both of them to do so.

So unless they each change their position, ending the filibuster in order to pack the court also seems like a nonstarter to blunt the impact of the Dobbs ruling.

So this all comes down to the much-ballyhooed strategy of trying to codify Roe, making the elements of Roe a federal law.

In Congress' current makeup, that is a possibility, but it is not one without risk for the Dems. It's a bit of a legal-political Byzantine track attempting to follow this particular strategy; it's pretty involved, actually.

But in the end, the Dems would have to make a decision, place a wager on whether they are so married to preventing red states from banning abortion, that they would risk giving the Supreme Court an opportunity to roll back other powers the federal government has accrued to itself — pretty extensive powers.

Much of those powers have been amassed through application of what's known as the Commerce Clause, something that began being weaponized by FDR during the Great Depression and that has swelled to incredible size.

The federal government whips out the Commerce Clause to regulate virtually every aspect of American life — categorizing a huge number of activities as being "commerce."

It's a ploy, of course, to amass huge amounts of power over everyday life, right down to it being against the law — yes, actually against the law — to grow crops in your own backyard, or even collect rainwater.

The abuse of the Commerce Clause has grown so severe — and has been so weaponized at every turn — that some judges around the country have started to become very leery of how it's being employed. And that includes the high possibility of the conservative bloc on the high court.

If the Dems in Congress were to try and override state abortion bans, it would more than likely be done through exercise of the Commerce Clause because, speaking in terms of "commerce," abortion is business, economic activity, and, therefore, subject to federal regulation.

However, and this is where Dems run big risk, if they pass such a federal law using the Commerce Clause as the ruse, it is a virtual guarantee that such a law would be immediately challenged and the whole matter would wind up in front of the Supreme Court, a court that (as is now obvious) has no qualms about overturning what it sees as bad precedent as well as government overreach.

The fundamental question then for Democrats is, Which do they value more — abortion rights or their power over other vast aspects of American life?

It is highly unlikely, given the current makeup of the court, that the conservative justices would not deal a severe blow to the Dems in reigning in their power, and that would include them losing on the abortion question as well.

Last week's end-of-term ruling severely reigning in the powers of the Environmental Protection Agency shows the mind of the court. The EPA's expansive powers were bound up with the Commerce Clause.

Pinning their hopes of blunting the court on a strategy implementing the Commerce Clause would prove to be an enormous gamble for the Party of Death, one they likely would not want to take.

However, because here in D.C. there is always a "however," it's very likely, come November, the Dems are going to be swamped by a red wave here on Capitol Hill, at least in the House.

Control of the Senate side is still a 50/50 proposition at this point. After the dust has settled from the midterms in November, there will be essentially a two-month window referred to as a "lame duck" session.

At that point, anyone who has lost his or her seat still has two months to vote for or against legislation. It could prove to be the Democrats' last hurrah, and depending on how the midterms turn out, they could see it as their last chance, a kind of "scorched earth" approach to the abortion question.

Joe Biden will not be in the White House a second term.

Those who got drowned in the red wave may just throw all caution to the wind — after all, at that point, they would have nothing to lose. In the minds of those who have lost, and among the more radicalized, they could just push the nuclear button and create an enormous mess the next Congress has to deal with.

Nancy Pelosi, who will certainly be gone as speaker, is just that spiteful. So is Chuck Schumer. If Dems lose the House and the Senate, this could very well be their swan song, and as long as Biden still occupies the White House, any legislation they ram through at the end of this session would be impossible to get rid of in the next term.

So would they be sufficiently ticked about everything that has happened that would have caused them to be swept from power that, in one last dying gasp, they would go bananas and pull that lever? The Dobbs ruling and overturning of Roe and Casey has had an enormous impact on American politics.

Like Roe in 1973 set the stage for a half-century of great turmoil politically, Dobbs may set the stage for even more, or, depending on what they do, it could effectively spell the end of the Democratic Party on the national stage for years to come.

Joe Biden will not be in the White House a second term, even if he lives that long. The Dems are already sending up smoke signals that he's dead in the water in 2024.

If they lose the White House in 2024, after having lost Congress in 2022, the Dems could be banished to the political wilderness for quite some time, and it's a safe bet that is on the minds of many of them as well as they approach that lame duck session.

    • Missing the Big Picture

      TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the Supreme Court, where, based on various pro-lifers Church Militant has spoken to, it's clear that the big picture is being missed.

A number of years ago at the March for Life, Church Militant did an informal survey of dozens of attendees and found that around 10% were okay with homosexual relationships and about one-third thought contraception was acceptable.

Frankly, we were more than stunned and realized right there and then that a philosophical cancer had already begun to metastasize within the pro-life movement. The heart of that error is the abject failure to make the connection between abortion and sexual immoralities like homosexuality, contraception, fornication and so forth.

There is no such thing as a culture that accepts contraception but rejects abortion.

Through a constant stream of brainwashing and propaganda through movies, entertainment icons and so forth, the Marxists have planted time bombs that, if they are not defused quickly, threaten to undo all that was achieved last Friday in the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

As long as a person accepts contraception and living together and the homosexual culture and all that accompanies it, abortion will always be lurking about the periphery, ready to burst back onto the scene.

The leadership of the pro-life movement has failed in a dramatic fashion to make the connection in the minds of young people that contraception — as well as the rest of the mainstays of the sexual revolution — are all tightly bound up with abortion.

It truly is an all-or-nothing proposition. There is no such thing as a culture that accepts contraception but rejects abortion. The same with the whole homosexual scene. It is why there is always such a strong presence of homosexuals and "pride" garbage at abortion marches and demonstrations.

On the surface, it would appear sexual activity that by definition cannot be procreative would be totally indifferent to the question of abortion. Homosexuals can't get pregnant, so why are they so vocal about all this? Because it's never really been about procreation or even abortion itself.

It's been about sexual license, and on that score, the goal has always been to create a sexually permissive society, not just one that embraces abortion. The Left understands far better than the so-called conservatives that sexual license is what's driving the bus — not just abortion.

The Marxist Left understands the close interrelationship of all these in terms of how they are all bound up with each other, and when any of them are attacked, they rush to their defense. It is also why the pro-abortion camp is so protective of so-called homosexual rights. They get it. They all get it. They understand the codependency they each have on the other.

Sexual immorality of any kind is the tie that binds them all, a tie that, for the most part, the children and naive leaders of the pro-life movement have yet to either understand or have no desire to confront because of theological differences among the ranks.

Every Protestant religion accepts contraception; many are fine with cohabitation; too many are, at the very least, indifferent to homosexuality. Even among Catholics, including many of the clergy, the same is true.

This is the tragedy of the young pro-life generation, even those who are Catholics. They have been "protestantized" in their views of sexual immorality. Too many pro-life leaders have been afraid to lay out the whole truth to these young folks. They’ve been afraid for the same reason the Church of Nice crowd is always afraid — they never want to give offense. They never want to jeopardize the fragile political coalitions they've formed.

The truth cannot accommodate compromise with untruth or ignorance or fear.

As a result, while they've been fighting to ensure the next generation can be physically born, they've contributed, by their silence, to a world where spiritual malformation is all but guaranteed. Strong, bold and faithful Catholics need to step up and assume the mantle of leadership of the pro-life movement because that's not the case right now.

As the original leaders — solid Catholics like Nellie Gray and Joe Scheidler — have begun passing from the scene, a more squishy crowd has assumed leadership. Certainly, not all are squishy, but even one is too many.

The truth cannot accommodate compromise with untruth or ignorance or fear. The Left completely gets that point. The pro-life movement has a lot of catching up to do, and it had better catch up fast.

    • The Abortion Nothingburger

      TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court in the nation's capital, where the pro-death response to last week's overturning of Roe v. Wade has fizzled into what amounts to a big nothingburger.

There was actually much more outrage on the part of Marxists in the immediate aftermath of the leaked draft last month than there has been in response to the actual decision itself being handed down. There were death threats, the attempted killing of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, pro-life centers bombed and torched, Catholic churches vandalized, Catholic Masses disrupted and so forth.

But compared to what was expected to happen over this past weekend, relatively speaking, very little has happened. Expectations were so dire, in fact, that the Department of Homeland Security issued a formal advisory to Catholic bishops to be on high alert for violent outbursts.

Even out here in front of the Supreme Court itself, the supporters of child-killing have been spectacularly fewer in number than anyone expected. Church Militant has been here each day now this week and it's never been more than a hundred, and that was a one-time peak that we saw.

Pushback from God-believing patriots does matter. It does mean something. It does have an impact.

The usual number has been much closer to just two or three dozen — normally with a woman screeching on a bullhorn — inviting some onlookers to come express their rage. So far, we haven't seen one taker. There is, however, one message that's more than the annoying droning of the mantra, "my body, my choice," that keeps being repeated by the handful of pro-child killers. That message is an attack on Christ and every time it involves attacks on the Catholic Church.

This sign sums it up best of all: "America is not a Christian nation." As this sign was being displayed, the woman with the bullhorn was assailing Catholics for fighting to overturn Roe v. Wade.

The Left is desperate to portray this as a religious fight, a theological fight. It isn't. It is a spiritual fight, but they never go there. Moving from religion into specifically the spiritual would be too revealing for the demons who are behind these protests and the whole abortion movement.

So, as long as the narrative can be confined to a message that religions don't have a right to control the government, then they can keep screaming into their bullhorns and scribbling meaningless phrases and vulgarities on the street and chanting what are, more and more, proving to be useless, worn-out phrases.

The child-killing crowd, in fact, may have so overplayed its hand that fewer and fewer Americans identify with them these days. A poll released by Rasmussen earlier this week specifically about Americans' views on Friday's overturning of Roe v. Wade showed that 50% agreed with the Supreme Court ruling.

And while 45% did not agree, this latest poll — the first since Roe v. Wade was overturned — turns the entire child-killing narrative on its head. For years, decades even, the Marxist media has told us that most Americans support the 1973 ruling that legalized abortion. But now that Roe v. Wade has been killed, 50% of Americans actually support the Supreme Court.

That is extremely unwelcome news in the camp of "team evil" and is also worrying to them that what they considered their ability to capitalize on the overturning of Roe v. Wade in the coming midterms may not prove to be the lightning in a bottle they were banking on.

Additionally, a recent voter tabulation by the Associated Press showing a net gain of "party switchers" across the country from Democrats and independents to Republicans is causing nightmares at Democratic Party headquarters.

While 600 thousand did switch and join the Democrats, a million former Democrats and independents switched over and became Republicans. And even more alarming, a lot of those switching over are in the suburbs, the very heart of the Democratic machine fueling their wins in the last dozen years.

A more balanced view of what's happening is that there is a balkanization of America into radical Marxists and constitutional patriots. Most Americans do not reject basic human rights. They do not think young children should be exposed to lewd drag queens or have schools teach them to have abortions and change their biological sex, all behind their parents' backs.

Most Americans do not think anyone should be able to kill a child in the womb for any reason at any time. Most are sick of having pro-sodomy stuff jammed down their throats morning, noon and night. The America that Marxists want to construct looks less and less appealing to the average American.

What is happening, however, is that certain states, the obvious ones, are becoming emboldened in those insane beliefs and are becoming bluer and bluer.

Two Americas have been emerging for a while now, and the Dobbs ruling may have just been the "birthing" of one and the "aborting" of the other. Blue America has supported an anti-God agenda for quite some time, but the Trump presidency exposed all that.

Red-state Americans — still with their fair share of problems with the philosophical underpinnings of their positions — are at least moving on natural virtue and goodwill.

Blue America hates children, perhaps best visualized by Nancy Pelosi shoving Mayra Flores' child in her mom's swearing-in photo op. After all, nothing says "I love children" more than giving a 12-year-old a forearm shiver.

But their hatred of children, not to mention families where children are best nurtured, is owing to the demons who control them or, better said, the demons to whom they have ceded control.

Nancy and Joe and the rest of them have traded their souls for power, and now, in the twilight of their lives, they are watching their empire contract and, in some ways, even collapse about them. They won't go down without a fight certainly.

But just as when the Western Allies crossed the Rhine into the heartland of Hitler's Germany in March 1945 — in what became known as Operation Blackwatch —everyone knew (except Hitler and a few other deranged Nazis) that the clock was running out.

These demonically controlled politicians are in a rage, sensing that the tide has begun to turn. Of course, speaking spiritually, none of this will be over and done finally until the Son of God returns on the clouds of Heaven, but that does not mean things cannot improve or that the fight should not go on.

These depraved Marxists are sensing — likely correctly — that they are about to be on the run and in retreat. Pushback from God-believing patriots does matter. It does mean something. It does have an impact. Organizing that pushback and securing what we have gained so far will be the focus of our Church Militant "Call to Action" convention in late August in Detroit, which we highly encourage everyone to sign up for. Details are here. Please sign up today, and bring as many activist-minded friends as you can.

What a supreme disappointment it would be to give back the gains we have made these past decades because the Marxists got better organized faster than we did. There are titanic battles still to come in many states - both in the Church and the political/cultural arena.

Victory is never really victory until the enemy is vanquished — so we can't let up.

In the meantime, be thankful that Almighty God has given us this opening, this victory, even if it is, right now, in its infancy and still fragile.

Victory is never really victory until the enemy is vanquished — so we can't let up.

We must build on it and advance it. Normal Americans, for all our failings and mistakes, must push these Marxists and their evil completely out of everyday life. They can't be in schools, they can't be in government, and they certainly can't be in churches.

What is most evident right now is that it appears to be an actual true awakening — as opposed to being woke — is happening on the Right, and it's coinciding with a Marxist offensive running out of steam, at least in many places.

For that, glory be to Almighty God.

    • Clarence Thomas

      TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court, where it has now become clear that, after decades of being pretty darn quiet, Clarence Thomas has assumed the mantle of clarity, charity and precision.

Thomas is the heart and soul of this court now, despite the squishy John Roberts being chief justice. Thomas is the moral gravity to be dealt with here at SCOTUS.

For the moment, this new reality has been somewhat lost on the Marxist crazies, as it has not fully dawned on them yet what the dynamic now is among the justices. For the moment, most of the venom has been spewed at Trump's picks of Amy, Brett and Neil.

Thomas is the moral gravity to be dealt with here at SCOTUS.

It's yet another example of "Trump Derangement Syndrome" — not being able to see things clearly because of their blind rage against Trump and all things MAGA. Practically all of the talk, understandably, has been about Dobbs and the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

That Dobbs decision was formulated masterfully by Samuel Alito (another justice to largely escape the venom, again, because he was not appointed by Trump). All that said — and to underscore the importance of Thomas' presence — in a separate concurring opinion, Thomas went for the jugular of the sexual revolution, saying that he agreed that nothing in Friday's ruling "should be understood to cast doubt on precedents that do not concern abortion ... in future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court's substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell."

Unpacking that gigantic statement and explicitly citing the three rulings that advanced the sexual revolution begun in the 1960s, Thomas lays it out:

      • Griswold v. Connecticut established a constitutional "right" for married couples to obtain contraceptives
      • Lawrence v. Texas established a constitutional "right" for people to have sex with whomever they want, as long as it is consensual
      • Obergefell v. Hodges established a constitutional "right" for so-called "gay marriage"
      • All of these so-called rights under the Constitution were granted by what Thomas and many others have said is a very faulty reading of the 14th Amendment, which states the denial of life or liberty by the state must follow after due process. Due process means what it says: The state is obligated to go through a process before it can deny someone basic rights.

The Marxists that co-opted the institutions took that amendment and twisted it beyond recognition and then applied it to every single aspect of the sexual revolution, opening the floodgates to widespread contraception, fornication, homosexuality and child murder.

This is why you always heard the cry from the Left that abortion is a fundamental constitutional right. It never was. It was just twisted to be presented that way. But since "due process" became the standard for everything else to be allowed, Thomas went on to say, "Because any substantive due process decision is 'demonstrably erroneous' ... we have a duty to 'correct the error' established in those precedents."

That is what is making the Left go nuts. The Marxists — at least those who have stopped howling long enough to read it —understand, rightly so, that their sacred sexual perversions are now under the microscope of being viewed as constitutional rights. When something is declared a constitutional right, any state laws to the contrary are immediately negated, as we saw for 50 years with Roe v. Wade.

Since the reasoning for Roe had been "due process" in the 14th Amendment and because that is the same reasoning for all these other evils, it seems very clear that those cases should also now be up for consideration, as Thomas says.

It's important to remember the very valuable point that what Thomas is arguing is that homosexuality, contraception, abortion and fornication are simply not constitutional rights. They aren't guaranteed and enshrined in the Constitution. It doesn't mean individual states are prohibited from enacting them into law, just as states can currently enshrine child-killing into law; it just means they can't claim it's protected by the Constitution as a fundamental right.

Resorting to an expression of high praise that younger folks employ, Thomas is an animal. He is an absolute animal. He has been waiting in the wings to launch this offensive — rightly reasoned — for quite some time.

Also worth noting, Thomas recognizes that the entire structure of immorality that has destroyed America is all tightly knit together: contraception, fornication, abortion and homosexuality. They are all parts of a piece. They all fall or rise together.

These past 50 years have been a small warm-up act compared to what's coming.

Until the pro-life movement comes to understand this as well and gets behind it, victories like Dobbs will be more difficult to implement across the nation. There is much fighting that has yet to be done — much more fighting than what got us to this point.

We are grateful for Friday's overturning of Roe v. Wade, but these past 50 years have been a small warm-up act compared to what's coming. This battle is not against laws per se, although part of the battle will necessarily be fought in the legal and political arena. The battle —the war — is against the sexual revolution of the 1960s and its major philosophical errors.

For faithful Catholics, understand that you will receive no help from the hierarchy on any of this. Go into this battle knowing that and with your eyes wide open. The U.S. hierarchy either has no stomach for this decades-long fight or they actually support the enemy against you.

But fear not. You are on the side of Almighty God because truth always wins.

      • The Dark Underbelly

        TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court, where its justices are on a tear, reversing decades of Marxist advances. From gun rights to state rights to religious rights, this term will go down in American jurisprudence history as the month when American originalism was finally resuscitated.

To be certain, there is still a lot morally wrong in America. Some of that immorality long predated the sexual revolution of the 1960s, but that decade, from roughly 1963 to 1973, set the stage for a massive assault against Christianity that has led to the current culture of rot that is so prevalent today.

Hundreds of U.S. bishops are guilty of a mass cultural betrayal of all that we consider American.

We'll be speaking more down the road about Justice Clarence Thomas' assertion that all the other Supreme Court rulings (for example, on gay marriage and birth control) also need to be revisited, but, again, that's down the road.

For today, the cases of this term, especially Friday's overturning of Roe v. Wade, show just how far America has sunk in terms of evil. It is most especially seen in the response by the Left, by the Marxists who insinuated themselves into all the cultural institutions in the first half of the 20th century and then used those institutions to pervert a country.

Every single cultural institution has been co-opted in this near century-long march: entertainment, legal, political, media, educational and religious, especially the U.S. bishops. For most of this century, as the Democratic Party was slowly being taken over, the U.S. bishops were either blind or willful participants.

But once the 1960s hit, it was quite clear who most of them — especially the most powerful ones —were pulling for. Hundreds of U.S. bishops are guilty of a mass cultural betrayal of all that we consider American.

At first, in all fairness, some of the issues — such as civil rights — did need attention and laws and court rulings and so forth. But as time moved on, immediately it became clear that whatever good intentions may have been present at the beginning were quickly seized on and twisted to evil ends. It was at that point the bishops should have stepped up and done everything they could to halt that march.

But as Church Militant has revealed so often (and why the bishops and their enablers hate Church Militant so much), the U.S. hierarchy had become little else than a gay bathhouse. Seminaries had become dens of sodomy; chanceries lost the Faith; Catholic universities were leading the charge with "wokeness" long before "woke" ever became a thing.

The bishops' refusal to confront evil — and, in some cases, their acceptance of evil — completely neutralized the Church, as the Marxist march moved into high gear. The statements that many bishops released in response to the Dobbs ruling on Friday were supremely ironical and actually insulting to the Catholic peasantry that has been in the trenches fighting this war for half a century.

While they weren't exactly taking a victory lap, the idea of making statements praising the overturning of Roe v. Wade rang a little hollow when you consider their complete ignoring of abortion over the decades. For most of them, it was just one issue among many of equal weight, right up there with unemployment, as Blase Cupich once trumpeted.

Even for one-third of the bishops, the chopping, dismembering and vacuuming out of dead baby parts did not qualify as the preeminent issue of our day. That's one-third, as evidenced by the bishops' conference vote, which, of course, the Catholic peasantry is not allowed to know about regarding how individual bishops voted.

The U.S. bishops, regularly referred to as the Democratic Party at prayer, need to resign en masse or have the ones that Catholics think are good denounce the evil of their brother bishops. Sure, call them to repentance, but when they refuse to repent, call them out and kick them out.

The bishops had zero part in this ruling last Friday. In many ways, they ensured the Culture of Death's continued existence long beyond when it should have ended. To this very day, they have still never taken up a national collection (out of hundreds of collections spanning 50 years) for a pro-life cause. It's revolting, disgusting and revealing.

They simply, for example, refuse to even acknowledge that this moment came because of Donald Trump, a man they routinely chastised, criticized, and, in the case of the Abp. Wilton Gregory, lied about.

Too many of these men are dinosaurs, trapped in some fantasy vision of the 1960s peace and love anti-war demonstrations, an era that has long since passed and was the preparation for unfettered abortion, sodomite marriage, drag-queen story hours and every other cultural perversion you can imagine.

They are simply out of touch, and that's on a good day. Moving forward, the Catholic peasantry should not expect anything from them locally, where this battle is now shifting. Their statements were simply perfunctory, almost required to save face.

And even then, many of them couldn't resist the temptation to revert to their halcyon days of the 1960s and 70s and pepper them with references to seamless garment garbage. That seamless garment garbage is the brainchild of Cdl. Joseph Bernardin, and that is what opened the door for so many Catholic traitors like Pelosi and Biden to ascend to their current operational control over the country.

The list of those traitors is endless —Kennedy, Cuomo (father and son), McAullife, Kane and on and on — and they are all simply given a pass by like-minded traitors to the Faith who just happen to have been wearing miters.

What the overthrow of Roe has shown is just how dark the underbelly of the Culture of Death is. Whether it's demonstrated by Nancy Pelosi actually shoving a young girl out of a photo op for the swearing-in of her mother or the videos of insane women saying they're going to get pregnant just so they can abort "it" or the call by Democrats to turn military facilities into abortion centers in red states, they are off completely off the hook.

And all of this has reached this point because when they should have been doing their job, they were busy having sex with teenage boys or covering it all up. It's one thing to bleed the Church dry to the tune of $4 billion. It's another to be engineers in the Culture of Death.

These men have done both, and what is galling to peasant Catholics is that there is still no acknowledgment of this sorry history. There is a complete refusal to even say that, in the past, some bishops were bad men. What's so hard about acknowledging a very clear truth that everyone already knows? It's pathetic.

Catholics have to fight a two-front war, a second front that has now opened up because of the Supreme Court.

How to fight this war, how to engage in the battle — tactics, strategy, resources — is the focus of our Church Militant "Call to Action" convention in late August in Detroit, a conference we highly suggest you sign up for here.

This decision came about because of one thing: the hard work of the laity, faithful Catholics, who, over the course of decades, have been shunned by their bishops and their wealthy enablers. Even the Marxists understand that. That's why it's Catholic parishes that are being targeted.

The gay, pro-abortion priests (like James Martin) need to be run out of the Church. Over the weekend, Martin actually tweeted the following: "A one-minute-old zygote is not the same as a nine-month-old baby about to be born...and women's consciences need to be heard, listened to and respected."

The bishops' refusal to confront evil completely neutralized the Church.

Any response from the bishops yet? Are they OK with the most well-known cleric in America twisting Church teaching on life? Why wouldn't they be? They've let him go on for years twisting Church teaching on homosexuality.

Donald Trump was a gift from heaven, not because of him as who he is, but because of the unveiling of all the rot brought about by his brashness. But right now he needs to be recognized for what he did to bring this moment about.

This Supreme Court has his stamp on it, and that stamp is bringing about a renewed reverence for foundational principles, principles the Marxists have spent decades trying to destroy.

No wonder they're losing their minds. So, since the bishops won't say it, faithful Catholics and men of goodwill all over America will: On behalf of the hundreds of thousands of American citizens that will be born, thank you, Mr. President. God Bless you.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from outside the U.S. Supreme Court, where this past Friday — the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart — a Catholic, top-heavy slate of justices killed Roe v. Wade and set in motion what will now prove to be the largest political war in U.S. history.

It is the states now where the battle must be fought intensely. And for the pro-life camp, if they thought it was intense this past half-century, they ain't seen nothin' yet.

Abortion has not been defeated. It has simply been relegated back to the states, where thousands of legislative battles must now be fought.

It's true the death of Roe is a severe blow to the Communist Left — but it is far from a final victory. The lives of some innocent children are now protected, true. And that absolutely needs to be celebrated.

But an even higher degree of intensity will now have to be expended — spiritually and culturally — on the part of pro-lifers to get rid of child murder across the entire country.

Remember: The Dobbs decision handed down Friday was able to happen because multiple states — a sufficient number of electoral votes — locked down the White House for Donald Trump. Once in, and with the openings on the court, he was able to nominate Niel Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and, lastly, Amy Coney Barrett.

But his victory and ability to nominate them then had to be approved by the U.S. Senate with a sufficient number of votes there. Those votes were only there because of a half-century of prayers and mobilizing in multiple federal elections: strategy sessions, street pounding, door knocking and so forth.

But many of those elections — almost all of them, in fact — had abortion as just one issue on the ballot. True, it was always passionate; but it was not always the issue that most voters zeroed in on. But a sufficient number of voters did focus on it, and many close races were won because of that intensity.

Slowly, over the decades, a razor-thin majority in the U.S. Senate was able to be fashioned, and pro-life justices were able to be seated. But all three of these justices had to undergo rigorous, strenuous nomination hearings, barely securing enough votes.

The Commie Left has always had an easier time getting their murderous justices seated than the Right. It's always been a much tougher fight for good than it has been for evil.

It is against that backdrop, that history, that we must now understand what lies ahead us.

In national elections, evil is somewhat diluted across the nation as a whole. While obviously some states are deep blue, they still haven't been driving the national bus, so to speak.

But within those states — blue and even purple — the forces of evil are much more concentrated, presenting a much more formidable enemy. Plus, we cannot afford to lose any states we have currently in the pro-life column.

Two words will guide the fight from here on out: vigilance and offense.

The pro-life world is going to have to really mobilize like it never has before, because the demonic never takes a break. It gets staggered sometimes, like on Friday, even with the leak last month.

The actual news that Roe is dead was stunning. To actually hear that this child murder can no longer be considered a constitutional right rocked both sides: of course, joy for the pro-life camp, and outrage, despair and all that in the pro-death camp.

As a quick aside, imagine what the Last Day is going to be like.

But for the moment, this is not the Last Day. But just as they did after the Trump win in 2016 — as opposed to his win in 2020 — the devil doesn't stay on the mat for long.

What has happened in simple military terms is this: The scope of the war has expanded; the battlefield has just gotten much bigger.

We are going to have to be vigilant guarding our flank in what are today pro-life states, because you can bet the farm that the demonic will do its damnedest to pick off some of those.

But just because the focus of the fight for criminalization or legalization has shifted to the states, that does not mean that here in D.C., things are over. There are assaults that originate from here still.

For the moment, remember: The Party of Death still runs things here, and as long as that is the case (along with RINO allies), there are various things that can be done.

Codifying Roe — or actually something far worse — can be easily introduced by Nancy and Chuck in the House and the Senate.

Federal judgeships, especially the high court, are still at stake, and as long as the death merchants have their hands on the levers of power, very bad judges can be elevated.

Look no further, for example, than KBJ [Ketanji Brown Jackson], who — even though she is a woman — can't define what a woman is. She will be on the bench here at the Supreme Court next term. One more like her, and all that happened here Friday could be wiped away just as easily as Roe was.

For Catholics in particular, there is a multi-pronged approach needed.

First, the political activism, ramped up like never before. But in the Church, these gay and homo-friendly bishops in their individual dioceses have got to be pressured like never before to start becoming active in their states.

It's not enough anymore to have a national pro-life committee, which does nothing at the bishops' conference. Since this has now shifted primarily to the states, making it much more local fighting, local dioceses now have to jump in.

But overcoming the homo-crap inside chanceries is going to be its own battle, and strategies for that must be developed.

The fight just got a lot more local, personal, individual, granular — and because it's not just here in D.C. anymore, that means Catholics on a local basis can now be involved in a way that they haven't really been before.

There is no doubt that the fight for life scored a major victory last Friday. But it was not the end of the war — not by any stretch.

Just as when the Allies landed at Normandy and secured the beachhead, that was not the end. The Nazis still had to be defeated. Once the Allies got ashore and began fanning out, the fighting became much more intense and stayed that way until final victory.

The goal is nothing less than absolute victory, not sacrificing some children in blue states. All children must be protected.

The "how to do that sort of work" is the focus of our Church Militant Call to Action Convention in late August.

Now more than ever, we must commit ourselves to full battle. That means learning, drawing up plans, being trained. We are assembling an impressive array of experts in all this.

We don't need inspiration and "rah rah" stuff; we need training and knowledge and prep, just like the Marxists have and use.

On a final note: One woman, in the aftermath of Roe being handed down in 1973, quit her lucrative law firm job here in D.C. and committed to doing everything she could to fight this evil. Her name was Nellie Gray, and she is the person responsible for the annual March for Life. Nellie died 10 years ago.

Over decades, little by little, she worked her fingers to the bone to fight and make sure abortion was never an acceptable thing. Nellie was an ardent Catholic.

Last Friday, June 24 — when the court struck down Roe — was also Nellie Gray's 98th birthday.

On that day, June 24 — the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart — the birthday of Nellie Gray — five planets also aligned in the Heavens in a spectacular display that hasn't happened in 20 years and won't repeat until another 20 years.

Fellow fighters, fill the jars with water. God performs the miracle.

See you in Detroit in August. Let's go.
