Don't Forget

Part 1 of Don't Forget

There are three different baptisms mentioned in Scripture: baptism into the Body of Christ, baptism in water, and then a baptism in the Holy Spirit. This third and final baptism is separate from salvation — it is a spiritual gift that we can receive in order to have power to live a victorious life.

One of the functions of the Holy Spirit in our lives today is that He gives us spiritual gifts. So how can we discover these gifts? And what purpose do they serve?

After Jesus was resurrected, on the Day of Pentecost, Jesus empowered the new believers with the Holy Spirit. Three major holidays on the Jewish calendar corresponded with the journey God gave Israel to take. What are these holidays and what is their significance today?

Many people have opinions about the Holy Spirit but don't really know what the Bible says about Him. What if we threw out all those preconceived ideas and took a fresh look at the Holy Spirit?

We’ve been promised a new life in Christ, but we will encounter resistance. We must combat this resistance by taking spirituals next steps to insure that we live life to the fullest.

When Jesus died on the cross, he did more than just pay for our sins. Three days later, he raised to life and conquered death. Now we can experience that same resurrecting power in our own lives today!

In His final moments on the cross, even though He felt abandoned by His Father, Jesus surrendered total control of His life into the Father's hands. So when we experience bad days, how can we learn to trust God with everything just as Jesus did?

While on the cross, Jesus said, "It is finished." This signaled the ultimate defeat of the enemy. It's because of this finished work on the cross that we can be assured that there is a purpose and an end.
