Galations 5:10 reads, “I am confident in the Lord that you will accept no other view. But the one who is confusing you will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.” Notice how this verse closes, “…whoever, he, may, be.” So, interesting. Not just Satan but!, “…whoever,… he may be.”

The implication here is more than just Satan alone influencing God’s children to fall away from their current state in the Salvation of Jesus. Let us see if this is an accurate assumption.

The word used here means, properly, to beat, or drive back. Hence it means to hinder, check, or retard. Dr. Doddridge remarks that this is “an Olympic expression, and properly signifies coming across the course while a person is running in it, in such a manner as to jostle, and throw him out of the way.” (FROM: Barnes’ New Testament Notes)

The birth, life and death of Jesus occurs in this part of the timeline!

In the interpretation of this statue like vision, we read, “Then there will be a fourth kingdom, one strong like iron. Just like iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything, and as iron breaks in pieces all of these metals, so it will break in pieces and crush … the others.” (Daniel 2:40)
