Church Public

Advent is a traditional Christian practice that reminds us how much we need our Savior Jesus Christ. The word Advent means ‘visit’ or ‘arrival’. Today we remember the arrival of Jesus to this world. Many of your kids have the little calendars with chocolate in them marking each day until Christmas. This practice of Advent is a weekly reminder marking the arrival of Jesus into this world and looking forward to the day he comes again.

This week we talk about the Hope of Jesus!

Today we continue our discussion about marriage because apparently, like the definitions of man, woman and child, no one has any idea what marriage actually is.

Apparently this is the question we must now answer.
As if thousands of years of human history did not already make this clear, we are now forced to cover old ground and get back to basics, which is really what we often do here at ChurchPublic.

To get to marriage, we need to take a short journey, from a current politician to the cultural zeitgeist otherwise known as the spirit of the age, we have to go from what is proposed back to what is real.
Through this process we will look at immigration, same sex marriage, divorce and the current trans ideology.

Joe Biden welcomes tik tok star to the White House and calls you immoral if you don't want children to medically transition genders.

Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight.

Truth and Beauty, are they related?
Can you have beauty without truth?

BEAUTY BRAND ULTA went woke and broke when they posted a tweet about the beauty of girlhood, on a podcast hosted by two men, pretending to be girls.

Next we go to CHURCH, though not any church I'd attend where another man pretends to be a woman, in front of children, discussing the Bible.

Finally we look to the DRAFT to see what is REALLY TRUE even though no one wants to say it.

And of course stay till the end for a Bible wrap up.

This is ChurchPublic where we look at current events from a Christian perspective.

Cheaters Never Prosper - Ep 271

Three stories of cheating today.
Cheating in Chess
Cheating in Fishing
Cheating in Poker

Why does cheating really bother us?
To the atheist out there, wouldn't that be a sign of superior intelligence, to skip the monotony of a line and go right to the front? Isn't that survival of the fittest, the strongest, the fastest, the smartest?
Or to those that don't believe in the Bible and God, what does it matter if I cut you in line or cheat? After all, my truth is that I should be in front of the line and you should wait longer. That's cool right?
I mean if I called myself a girl and started swimming and winning races, I'm a hero, right? That's what culture is telling us these days, right?

Yet, today we have three stories of cheating that illustrate the culture who celebrates certain individuals getting ahead, also frowns on others when they get caught cheating.

VERSES
The Lord detests dishonest scales,
but accurate weights find favor with him. - Prov 11:1

“Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. Romans 12:17

"You may be sure that your sin will find you out." Numbers 32:23

In today's news, Velma from Scooby Doo is super gay now, Shakespeare get's his first non-binary character and another professor is fired, this time for teaching a subject that was just too difficult for the students to understand. Or at least that's what they said when they petitioned to get him canned.
