Church Public

Welcome to Church Public
Current Events from a Christian Perspective

Today we look at the 49th March for Life and the amazing amount of people who are speaking out for the lives of innocent babies.

We also look at Canada and some kids who want to call the police on their parents?!?!

Meanwhile, supply chain issues are getting worse thanks to policies and mandates.

Finally, the Ukraine situation is getting worse with the US Government calling for officials, families and any other US citizens to leave ASAP.

Here's the Bill

4000 pastors sign up to preach Biblical Sexuality.

And John MacArthur gets banned on Youtube for preaching the Bible.

"America's Military Should be Used to Oppress the Unvaxxed" says leading Utah Newspaper?!?!

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Benjamin Franklin, Speech to the Pennsylvania Assembly, November 11, 1755

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm
Galatians 5:1

What is freedom and what is tyranny?
And why is tyranny SO dangerous?

Across the western world we are seeing terrible infractions of freedom in the name of "Science" or safety, but are those good goals?

Also, Rasmussen releases results that show the majority of Democrats in America want to lock up, fine and potentially take kids away from the unvxxd?!?!

Today we look at some of the wacky things happening across the western world in the name of science and safety.

"How long will you waiver between two opinions?
If the Lord id God, follow him
But if Baal is god, follow him.
...but the people said nothing."

Today we look at a Bible story that is one of my favorites from the Old Testament.
Sure David and Goliath is good and Jonah is incredible, but this story tells us something about how to live amongst a culture that doesn't respect or honor God. More than that, the culture surrounding Elijah was hostile and full of persecution.
More subtly though, as we will see, this culture had let time wear down the very things that kept them focused on God.

I believe we can learn a lot from this story, if we have ears to hear.

I'm Matt Odegaard, Welcome to Church Public.

HUGE Supreme Court win against Jab Mandates for businesses.

And President Biden misquotes scripture while trying to pass a nationwide voting bill.
Meanwhile, 800,000 illegal aliens in New York now can vote.
And in DC, you have to show your papers to eat, or do anything, so that's nice.

Finally, the Satanic Temple wants your elementary school student to join their after school club where they absolutely won't tell you to follow Satan, they just want to play games. Right?

Do you notice some people around you are walking zombies that blindly follow whatever the "experts" say?

Does it seem like no matter what science changes or what common sense or facts you say, it doesn't matter and those indoctrinated just continue to suspend belief and follow blindly?

Does this sound like some sort of weird cult that people get trapped in and don't even know they are in?

If any of these statements ring true, then you may be a conspiracy theorist, or to put it a different way, you may just be awake.

14 This is why it is said:
“Wake up, sleeper,    rise from the dead,    and Christ will shine on you.”
Paul from Ephesians 5:14

"for God DID NOT give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control." Paul in 2 Timothy 1:7

From all accounts, both in and out of news and from personal anecdotal evidence, this weird phenomena IS happening all over America and all over the world.
There are people who just seem to have been programmed to believe whatever it is they are told and they don't seem to be able to differentiate fact from fiction.

Why?

Well, I cannot tell you for sure, I am not a doctor, so let's hear from a couple doctors about what might be happening.

Go Woke, Go Broke

A pithy saying some of us have heard and been using for a while, but sadly, it holds truth.

Today we have to highlight two flagship organizations that have recently moved away from the gospel tenant of being "in the world and not of it," to something more like, "following Jesus is hard, let's do what the world is doing instead."

Salvation Army took a HUGE hit this Christmas season in donations and volunteers largely because they chose to follow the anti-Christian Critical Race Theory crowd down the rabbit hole. And they paid the price for it.

Focus on the Family, in a different strain, has decided to enforce the Biden Administrations unconstitutional and unconscionable medical mandate on all of it's employees potentially affecting the lively hood of dozens of their own families, not to mention capitulating to an overreaching governmental demand.

We will look at both of these in today's show.

As the tidal wave of omicron crashes over the whole world, the dam built by the religion of science is cracking. And we are here to pick up the pieces.

Today we look at the religious, I mean, science leaders and how they have changed their tune in the wake of the latest round.

Happy New Year!
God is still God
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever

Though the world is going quickly toward the cliff of secular humanism, or whatever you want to call it, we can still see God working, even in the chaos and the brokenness.

Today let's talk about two:

- Haiti Missionary Escape!
- Tornado Destruction and New Hope
