Church Public

I can freely admit that I am not very sporty.
I grew up in the music side of life and didn't play team sports or watch team sports so I don't know much about these things.
However, growing up I used to love the Superbowl.
As the only extroverted person in my family, this gave me a chance to hang out and laugh with other 'loud' humans and eat lots of great snacks, which is my favorite sport, and of course laugh at the really funny commercials.

Sadly, since everything, and really everything, went woke, I haven't even enjoyed the last couple rounds of these commercials
Now, apparently, there are Halloween commercials that push the boundaries?

What are these commercials trying to get us to do and why does that matter?

People are better than puppies.
And humans are NOT a mistake.

Two topics that address the same subject today on Church Public.

Calls to Fire Fauci went viral over the last few days because it was discovered that he oversaw the lab where puppies were brutalized tortured all in the name of science. And brutal these experiments were. Cutting their vocal cords. Putting flesh eating sand flies on them to literally eat them alive. This is all terrible.
But it strikes me that THIS is the thing that 'may' bring Fauci down.

What about all the things he has done to humans, and babies, and our kids?

Then we look at a lady who sterilized herself because 'humans are a mistake' and no one should have babies to save the planet.

It should go without saying that a planet without people is just a watery rock. This planet has value precisely because there are people on it.

You have worth because you are made in the image of God - Genesis 1:28
And Children are a blessing from the Lord - Psalm 127

Neither Clean Nor Unclean

We are now divided by faith in science through a new gospel of medical categories.

Many really high profile Christian 'celebrities' are online and in person pushing the ouchie in order to join church life. This is creating a two tiered society, but more so it is creating a two tiered church. This must not be the way.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28).

Colossians 2:4
4 I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

Today we are looking at Colossians 2 to hear about false teachers, elemental spirits and fake Christianity that plagued Colosse and also plagues us today.

They are taking down an almost 200 year old statue of Jefferson in NY because he was 'racist.'
Beyond being un-historical or at least not the complete story, we are judging a person based on 200 year old cultural difference.

Every country had slavery.
America ended slavery, largely in part to the things Jefferson and others did in their lifetime and beyond.

But this removal signifies something deeper, that is the Cult of Secular Humanism has no room for Grace or Forgiveness.

Vice President Kamala Harris is openly campaigning in around 300 churches via video for the governor's seat in Virginia. Is this in violation of the wall of separation between church and state? Does this violate the 501c3 non profit status? Is this a blatant double standard?

Let's discuss!

In June, a man in Virginia was arrested at a school board meeting where he became vocally upset about an issue his daughter had during school.
His arrest became the poster for school board 'violence' that led the National School Board Association to ask for anti-terrorist measures to be doled out to those disrupting school board meetings across America.
There is more to this story which we will see, but what kind of country do we live in where parents are being arrested and singled out for wanting to make sure the education we all pay for through our taxes is actually doing more good than harm?

Did Jesus come for Liberation or Salvation?

Who is Jesus?
This is a question that has been on people's minds since his birth and it continues to be.

Recently, one of the foremost advocates for Critical Race Theory weighed in on the question and the answer is, well, interesting.

Make no mistake this whole story is not about making FB a safer place, this is about creating more government control so that 'they' can silence you.
